  2. A lot of dropshippers for these repro optics recently. Even the Spina Optics listing is quite a mark-up too. The actual sale for these optics by CN retailers are around £60±. EMS shipping would probably be £10

  5. The funniest part of the ad for me is the "willing to trade for VFC AK74M" ngl. Optimistic trade that.

  8. I had the same issue with mags, gas, and gear piling up everywhere. Ended up grabbing a few stackable containers from B&Q and labeled them by type—makes grabbing stuff for a game way quicker. For anything more valuable or for keeping things out of reach from kids, I decided to buy home safe and keep my more expensive bits locked up in there.

  9. I’ve run into the same issue — a lot of AK-pattern guns here come with 24mm or 22mm threads, and trying to run NATO-spec muzzle devices (14mm CCW) on them turns into a scavenger hunt. Either you find some overpriced CNC piece from halfway across the world, or it’s out of stock. I’ve looked into Ares/Amoeba too, and yeah — they’re mostly for their own platforms, not true AK threading. Adapters both ways (24/22 to 14, and vice versa) would have a solid niche. Especially for people trying to slap on suppressors, comps, or even tracer units that are all 14mm CCW by default. Plus, the whole cursed AK aesthetic with a NATO can is chef’s kiss.

  10. Yeah sorry, definitely 24. Did double check both my AKs, neither of them have adapters like the Cyma's do. Very much appreciate the SRS adapter link, that is exactly what I was planning to make and somehow didn't come across it in my (admittedly quick) search

  11. Firstly you're exaggerating, by no means did I 'piss all over' his post. I left criticism that referred to other examples for sale at much lesser prices and told him where he can find them. I know this because I had been after a WE SVD for some time, and am now the owner of two of them. My most recent one came with a replica PSO scope, 5 mags, upgraded barrel and hop rubber, posted to me for the £360 asking price. This example had been sat for sale for a month. Perhaps now you can see what motivated me to leave what is inarguably valid criticism of the original £800 asking price of the example in question. I think it's pretty nuts that you have the ability to edit people's posts without their consent or even notifying them, making no mention of this in 'the rules' that you point to. Speaking of said rules, I reckon you should have a quick re-read of them. -Be constructive: 'If you have something to say, PM it to the seller' Yanno, instead of spending 10 years sniggering about people's posts in this thread without 90% of them knowing lol.

Lighter BBs fly faster right out the barrel, but given that all BBs are the same size and surface finish, they suffer the same amount of drag. The lighter BBs suffer more air resistance though, because they go faster. So they slow down much sooner and lose a lot more of their energy.

i'd argue the lions share of perceived longer flight time is due to the heavier bb's travelling further, ie past a short distance the heavier round can actually be faster at getting from a to b until it's the case that the lighter round can't even make it to b. although in the case when the bucking can't spool up the heavies without robbing enough energy to negate the range benefits your point does apply. however if the circumstances mean you're not using the extra range then no point spending extra for a benefit you're not using. heavier rounds became more available/cheaper, off the shelf buckings made it easier to spin them up, and enough people started using them to notice the benefits.

  15. Same goes for people who list a gun and have it pictured with a load of accessories, only to bury "accessories not included" sonewhere in the description. ? If it's not included, don't list or show it.

  16. Popped into LandWarrior Airsoft on the way home from work (just for a nosey really). I hoped I might get a gas tube for my M16A3 but no luck so I bought an M-lok fore grip, seeing as I'd ordered a keymod one by mistake. This longboi arrived today as I was fitting the aforementioned fore grip, courtesy of Austeyr, the bugger tempted me with sweeties & once I climbed into his van he sold me this S&T BAR.

  17. This is just cuckoo It's a V2, so now completely defunct as spare parts haven't been made for them in nearly 18 months. You can buy a new V3 by importing it from KICBB with shipping and taxes for £275. Magpul have never made a quadrail handguard, so that's a lie. The amount of wear on the top of the mag is something that doesn't happen on something that is barely used. Also is very vague on the power output, makes no mention of an NPAS, if it doesn't have one, they output 440fps stock on green gas. The gubbins added don't add value if the original ones aren't included. Realistically, this is worth more like £150-200 tops.

I mean no one can beat a rental. They're unburdened by neither equipment nor experience, their blood hot from wearing a thick, black hoodie in high summer. BBs dare not touch them.

  25. Another small update. 2 more rifles and an adapted acog. First, is the L2A1 SACTARASS (semi-automatic counter terrorist assault rifle and sniper system). (HK 417) This has been seen used with uksf for many years now. With 3 different variants. 12", 16" & 20" versions. Mine is a vfc 12" version with a surefire suppressor and acog. It's current set up as seen in a few reference pics that have been floating about. The acog has also had to be adapted. So the uksf were known for sticking with the TA01, but with the RMR. Meaning it has an off set front sight and larue mount. For airsoft, they never done this. Meaning I've had to pretty much butcher 2 acogs to make one. A box standard TA01, then a TA31 rco for the RMR and off set front sight blade. Second weapon is the L80A1 (MP5K) This has been In Service for decades. So nothing special to really report here. There was another version of the MP5K, that had its sights removed!... This was known as the L90A1.
