Same goes for people who list a gun and have it pictured with a load of accessories, only to bury "accessories not included" sonewhere in the description. 🙄 If it's not included, don't list or show it.3 points -
I was going to fork out for an LCT dog tail and the ugly keymod handguard... Then I remembered the Zenitco SPORT kits don't rely on the retainer so much. Had to cut out the bottom of the rail to accommodate the gas block (AK74/105 gas block sits more forwards and the sport kit has a hole already for it). Rail isn't very pretty due to countless games and abuse but it looks pretty good on the RPK if I say so myself3 points

Saw a listing, contacted the seller, confirmed I wanted the gun. Got as far as sending my address, he said he'd get it packed, get a quote for shipping, get back to me. I leave it a couple days, don't wanna nag. Contact him. Oh it's sold. Someone else messaged after and offered more, so he went with them instead. Oh it's gone now. Oh okay. Oh nice. Thanks.3 points -

ButcherBill and one other reacted to EDcase for a topic
Heavier BBs are less affected by wind/leaves etc (higher inertia) so fly further/straighter depending on overall power and hop. Lower weight BBs fly faster so if your pew manages to fling them far enough there may not be much point going heavier.2 points -

Popped into LandWarrior Airsoft on the way home from work (just for a nosey really). I hoped I might get a gas tube for my M16A3 but no luck so I bought an M-lok fore grip, seeing as I'd ordered a keymod one by mistake. This longboi arrived today as I was fitting the aforementioned fore grip, courtesy of Austeyr, the bugger tempted me with sweeties & once I climbed into his van he sold me this S&T BAR.2 points -

This is just cuckoo It's a V2, so now completely defunct as spare parts haven't been made for them in nearly 18 months. You can buy a new V3 by importing it from KICBB with shipping and taxes for £275. Magpul have never made a quadrail handguard, so that's a lie. The amount of wear on the top of the mag is something that doesn't happen on something that is barely used. Also is very vague on the power output, makes no mention of an NPAS, if it doesn't have one, they output 440fps stock on green gas. The gubbins added don't add value if the original ones aren't included. Realistically, this is worth more like £150-200 tops.2 points -

I'm gonna suggest if it was genuine TM in the £500 GunSmith Bros kit he'd definitely be mentioning it.... Also drum mag on a gbbr tell me thats been run on ridiculous round counts at stoopid pressures with out saying "I'm a speedsofter".2 points

You’ve missed out the accessories, the HPA taps are £9 each new, the hop unit iirc is about £50 new from overseas, the clutch precision set with postage is £130ish etc. Cheap scope and mount is still maybe £30/£40, spare outer barrel is another £25/£30… In total it’s just over £1K new. About £1080 I reckon at a guesstimate. Is he charging more than he should be? Probably, but at least he’s still charging less than retail - The same can’t be said for a lot of Mack submissions 😂1 point

You didnt pm him though did you ?, instead you chose to essentially sabotage his thread, if a potential buyer is interested in his kit, they're free to negotiate the price via pm. You've just admitted you left "criticism" , that's not permitted, except in Macks, did I not make that clear enough, I even made sure it showed I'd edited your comment to avoid confusion, clearly wasted on you. Think im wrong, feel free to contact @Jedi_Master to confirm what's considered constructive input, & complain about feeling "violated" I'm sure it is overpriced, well actually no, ive no idea as ive never wanted one so haven't researched the going rate, but the fact still remains, the only place to critique any sales thread is here in Macks, no ifs, no buts, something some members dont seem to be able to grasp, so we remind them lol.1 point

You pissed all over the guys sales post & told him, in your opinion, he's charging too much, the rules are clear, & your post definitely can be considered non constructive. Regarding editing your post, it was either delete it, or explain that the only place to critique sales posts is in Macks, i chose the latter, but something tells me you wouldn't be happy with either.1 point

I also agree with ButcherBill. £30 is a very good price for renting so take advantage until you are registered with UKARA. Each time you go you'll be able to talk to others about their pews and maybe test them too so you can get a better idea of what suits you. Nothing worse than rushing into a purchase (even if you think you're taking your time) and realising you made a poor choice. The sales section always has them and you will lose a lot of money trying to sell a two tone.1 point

New joiners getting classifieds from google and messaging you to ask if its still available, when the big orange banner at the top of the page says "Completed, Sold". Multiple times this week on the same item which sold nearly a month ago. One last week about something that sold in 2020..1 point

Butcher bill makes a very good point. Renting or using borrowed guns till you get your site membership means you're not stuck with a two tone. Also if the site has different rental guns you can try different ones to see what suits you. For example I prefer shorter guns like SMGs or carbines as I like to get sneaky and find longer guns get caught up on bushes more easily1 point -

Performancewise there's bugger all difference. It just depends on whether you prefer m-lok or ris rails to attach things. Personally I prefer ris rails as they're more common. Pick whichever one you prefer the look of. If you want to use x sight I'd go with a red dot over a scope as engagement ranges are short enough in airsoft that you don't really need one1 point -

Both will be playable options, unlikely to be any real difference in range and accuracy between the two. Metal body on the more expensive is a personal preference thing only. The electronic trigger unit in the more expensive offers a little more functionality, and would allow for a 'snappier' feel when shooting. In reality though, it is unlikely to translate into more eliminated enemy players.... Specna also offer some rifles (polymer bodies, but with electronic triggers) around the price of the cheaper of your two delta armory links - worth a look!1 point -
Last one that did that to me got bad feedback, not sure if the rules allow that but thought "f#ck it, people need to know what kinda person you are". If they can't be trusted in a sale, odds on they're cheating cnuts on the field too 🤬1 point

A few bits. Recently went down the plate carrier route, after borrowing one for a day. Picked up a Warrior DCS, which is good, but doesn't cope with placards. So I bought an AXL adapter panel, which is very thin/low profile and threads into the molle to give you an option to mount placards. This then gave me some options for an MP5 placard, in this case the unobtanium sled. Swapped out the buckles for G hooks for a lower profile, and...1 point

The little black rectangular stickers on the mags - he bought those from Asia, so the mags are more like £40 each - as I literally just had one arrive from Asia yesterday at £45 inc shipping from HK. Edit: Zoomed in on the PEQ and torch - PEQ is a clone, as the aiming adjustment collar is brass. The surefire light is a clone as i've got the exact same one sat in a box, fucked from moisture ingress, the markings are not even close to looking real.1 point

Played Apocalypse Sunday Skirmish. Had a really good time. New site for me, free game courtesy of the Modern Warrior airsoft shop which they offer if you spend £150, nice. Site was very nice and well maintained, not overgrown like a lot of woodland sites, lots of structures/barricades to clear or hide out in. Lots of open 'no mans land' spaces to negotiate in the mix. It was busy but its a big site so there was space to move without getting shot at and with the layout there were good opportunities to flank the enemy positions or try to come in from another direction. Only real challenge is the walk up the steep hill from the car park, had to do this twice to get all my kit on site. I will pack better next time. Was a misty cold start, then a bit of rain before it turned into a sweat box 2/3 seasons in one game day, double nice!! Games were great fun, nice mix of attack and defend for all sides in every game compared to the usual playing each scenario twice. 1st game was rescue the injured pilot, we attacked the other team to rescue the pilot then had to take him/her back to a location and defend until extraction. Lots of different play going on with sniping/DMR keeping us in cover for a couple of players with pistols / AEG's to sneak or run at us. We only just held out with the other team making a big push in the last 5 minutes. 2nd game was pure domination, 3 locations, hold 2 out of 3 at the end to win. We held 1 until the last 2/3 mins when a group of about 10 of us at respawn decided to have a suicidal rush at one of the locations. We took it right before the end of the game and were lucky the game ended when it did as the reds were using the same tactic in the last few seconds to take it back. 3rd game was capture the flag. We were split into 3 teams and had to capture the flag and return it to our base while the other 2 teams tried to do the same. Was a great game and not one I've played before. We had a fast paced teenager who ran in, grabbed the flag and took it back to our base very quickly while the rest of us provided covering fire. It was then a game of keeping the flag for 45 mins, as expected very intense towards the end. I ran out of BB's and the battery was running low in the MP5 so had to drop to my trusty Sig in the last couple of minutes, should use semi more, it's not a LMG!! Gun choice was the Cyma Platinum MP5 and WE Sig 226, great combo and they shot really well. Also took my newly acquired (used) TM AK47 EBB for bad guy duties, it chrono'd well but died after a couple of mags, just stopped working and doesn't make the Gate boot up noise so suspect something electronic, maybe a fuse if it has one, has fried and needs investigation. Players were 99% friendly, a couple of lads got a bit salty with the Marshalls at one point. Hit taking was very good and incoming fire stopped as soon as you put your hand up which is a nice surprise from the last couple of sites I've played where overkill is the name of the game. On site shop was good, well stocked and very busy. Didn't have anything from the burger van but given most of the players did I can only consider it as good. Will be going again!!1 point
