Well one of the reasons I got my recent Tanaka was that is had a Spartan hop but for some reason, the standard nozzle. This meant it didn’t seal well with the Spartan hop, with inconsistent fps. Long out of production, someone sent me the correct length of the Spartan unit. Measured the Tanaka stocker, then whizzed this up on my lathe in 20 mins. Let’s see how it tests!5 points

At that price, it might still be available 🤣4 points

I think A&K have also done at least one version. It's an interesting RS gun. Gas piston operated instead of direct gas impingement, sort of a HK416 before HK416 was a thing.2 points -

In the past I have preempted it and upon receipt of tracking details e mailed BF to say the package is on the way and included a copy of my defence. I also e mail a cover letter addressed to BF to seller and ask them to print it and include in envelope on package marked FAO BF. Always worked but took awhile as i didn't have a UKARA Registered Site Membership. I played milsim games on MOD Sites so as such organisers had no site or membership scheme. SO customs used to write / telephone them to confirm my details. This however was years ago.2 points -
Not quite the same, but I did something similar, asking for roughly the new price I had paid, but I had paid a much reduced sponsor / supported price It was genuinely hardly used due to the size of my armoury, and a specific limited edition colour/design and bagged in the original case that only came with a short original run. Not that any value is added, but it had only been serviced by the manufacturer tech guy, and maintained by our certified team tech guy There may have only been two in the country, and it’s the only one I had seen in the country (I say two because my team mate had put his name down for that colour version before we were offered a team deal, but couldn’t wait and took a standard - his may have sat on the shelf or I might have actually ended up with the one earmarked for him) I decided to sell due to the value and lack of use - I had used it once and loaned it out 2 or 3 times. However I wasn’t going to let it go cheaply as I didn’t need the money, otherwise I may as well hang on That meant I was in the situation of asking for X but getting low ball offers, I was open to offer but not willing to drop heavily I’d get low offers telling me that just because it’s a limited colour doesn’t mean it’s worth more (OK then - buy one of the many standard ones available), or that the colour was a little more widely available in the US (OK, go and import one then), also that there was a small rub on the barrel (OK, don’t buy it) and finally that a UK retailer was listing one from new (OK, try buying that one at full retail price - a few hundred £ more than me - until you get to the cart to be told it’s out of stock) It did take me something like a year to sell, during which time I got a couple of ‘one last time’ games with it ….. and sold it on eBay (breaching rules) at an acceptable offer and during a promotional fees discount selling a £1400 - £1500 retail gun, (I had paid nowhere near that - probably trade price) for about £50 to £100 less than I had paid and obtained some use from it, and it sold to somebody who appreciated the mainly visual limited edition elements A private sale can happily be made between two people for an agreed price, that one is willing to part for and the other is willing to pay As long as one isn’t purely ripping off newbies with exaggeration then it should be fine2 points

Yep I have seen them before, but I do love a battle rifle, especially my old comrade the SLR. Weirdest thing is that I've never got round to getting the airsoft version, although I have got a FAL which kinda close🤔1 point -

The fairly vanilla AR collection - 1. newly added secondhand TM MWS M4A1 for a Lone Survivor inspired set up (and my first foray into gas), not going full nerd as I don’t have the time or funds, needs a paint job and, if I can find a cheap one, an M203; 2. VFC HK416A5 in a configuration I’m extremely familiar with, other than the TacBelts sling and a lack of magnifier; 3. Specna DD Mk18 AEG for a more modern SOF style look. 1 and 3 for woodland games in God’s plaid/tan or MultiCam, 2 for indoor/CQB wearing black. At some point, there might be a CQBR if I can find and afford a second MWS upper.1 point -

I've got an A&K/frankenstein hybrid with the tube folding stock, plus another tube folding stock that was broken, so I repaired it but it's slightly different in style, the repair wasn't pretty but I was able to hide that with a heavy duty neoprene sleeve, so I'm happy with it, & it's a more comfy cheek weld now.1 point -

lovely ! I remember them well … which means I’m old , but not old enough to forget just yet . But to clarify , I ment the first run of G&G Gr300 series (around 15yrs ago ? ), I think they did a later run which was a bit watered down on the trademarks ?1 point -

Hi all I’m selling my vfc 417. It’s been a project for a while I never really got round to finishing it and using it so all the stuff I bought for it is basically new. Now I’m almost retired from Airsoft I can’t imagine ever sorting it out and fielding it. All the expensive stuff is done and paid for. There’s a new XT high torque motor in there stainless steel tight bore and maple leaf bucking and nub. A perun inline mosfet installed as its version 2.2 gearbox I couldn’t get a titan or aster in there. Brand new clone eotech vudu scope. This thing is the best clone I’ve ever seen!! 5 vfc mags that are £70 each 😅 QD suppressor and the gun comes as you see it with all attachments. There’s also some mag pouches 2 double helicon open top pouches and some kydex ones that weren't cheap lol. It think all that needs doing is a new spring and motor hight and it’s good to go. Great package here. This would make a beautiful DMR. £300 plus postage and fees. Will listen to decent offers. Any questions please ask£300

https://www.tokyo-marui.co.jp/products/new/#productsNew-Calendar Here's the link. The reason I'm saying it is, as far as I know TM doesn't directly supply retailers, but ships to distributors who then sell to stores. It's likely a distributor had leftover g17.4 and g18c they didn't sell originally which were now sent to stores (and TM didn't say anything about new shipments)1 point

Considering how touchy you are, maybe the internet or public forums are not the place for you. You got upset when someone said you should put your question in a more appropriate place than some random thread, which is right as you're more likely to get the right answer. Now you're throwing toys out the pram when there's comments on your reply. Also, if you want to call someone a wanker, just come out and say it instead of pissing about with emojis.1 point -

What have you made?
PopRocket123 reacted to Anonymoose for a topic
Little bits and pieces yesterday Modifying my G3 scope mount to delete the rail and lower the scope as much as possible. Bit of milling, drilling and tapping and got it 95% how i want. Little more needed but i'm happy with it. Then a quick job with some spare brass and delrin; a Mini Tamiya terminal remover.1 point -
