May have gone on a bit of a compact pistol spree

Heh, loving this thread. Some awesome bikes in here. I dont have many pics of my old ones as it was still 35mm and cartridge film, seem to have lost most of them after moves/divorces. Passed my CBT on a DT50MX in red/black. Moved onto a TZR125L Moved onto: RD250LC (hand grenade on wheels that tried to kill me many times) XJ600N diversion XJR400 import ZZR400 import and then just for a laugh i bought a GSX750 teapot. Which i rode three times. Three times i nearly got smooshed (used to commute through the dartford tunnel) so kinda gave up at that point. Ahh, those were the days. Wished i'd kept the RD though. mental bike. The guy i bought it off was a racer, he'd tuned the nuts off it, twin disc setup, allspeeds, hangers, massive rear tyre that only just fitted in the swingarm, you know the sort of thing. Did just enough to get you moving until 6k then went off like a banshee with its balls on fire. Been thinking about getting another one but living in the south east, the standard of driving is dire at best, so not sure my 50 year old ass could take it.

I love boneyard listings sometimes, the thing is a periscope but defcon has the cheek to try listing it, and for only 20 quid less than RRP! "Slight bend" yeah right XD

Shimming just means putting something inside the mag well to hold the mags in the best position for feeding. Much like you shim your gearbox with various thicknesses of washer to get the gears to mesh nicely. I've got half a dozen layers of leccie tape on the rear wall of my mag well to push the top of the magazines forward as I found that I was having to push the magazines forwards with my hand when firing to get them working reliably.

Clean barrel, set the hop to the weight you intend to use and actually practice shooting.

I have the E&C M110a1 , it’s a decent replica build wise , the plastic furniture is a bit meh with poor stock to tube fit , but otherwise not bad at all , reasonable price at around £325 new ( when I bought mine ) . Mags are cheap , it was running a bit warm out of the box so for the time being it’s had a lower spring popped in , eventually though I’ll get it fitted & fettled for a proper DMR . Might even see a day out in anger after that ? if they follow suit with the G28 I don’t think it’ll be a bad platform to build from at all .

This is my fear now about mesh. I sweat like a pig in a butchers, and nothing I've tried so far works to stop the fog Vs the mesh mask I use now. I do worry about the BB shattering risk, but every type of sealed eye pro just fogs up and then it's game over after a few mins. How have you found the head mounted AC unit? ?
