  2. Blimey, an old Aria! That's a blast from the past! Honestly, I'm a bit out of touch with guitar prices. I was amazed to see how much a new Explorer is now given that the woods are arguably inferior to mine that I bought for a sniff under £500 in '91!
  3. Your need is going to depend on how much you shoot (and how much air you use) vs how long it takes to refill Have you played with HPA to get an idea about your air needs ? Does the site you play at provide HPA fills? The first will guide on how much air you need, and the second as to whether you can top up. One bottle can cover an airsofters needs for the day depending on efficiency and how much you shoot. Airsoft typically operates on a lower input pressure than paintball, but if your inline regulator covers the right pressure ranges you can get a second air cylinder at a fair price ( if you need the fitted regulator at a lower pressure than ‘standard’ it can be more expensive - but cheaper than a compressor ) ’Home’ compressors can now be reasonably priced for a basic setup (make sure it’s fully filtered) But they are slow, noisy, get hot and should be maintained - which often does not happen at home If your site provides air fills then I would recommend filling there and making sure you are topped up before going home If you occasionally need more air at home then a (filtered) stirrup pump will do the job Keep topping up instead of draining and refilling Note that I keep referring to filters ’Clean’ air is essential, and the lack of clean air with bad habits was cause of a series of ‘flash fill’ explosions at site fill stations one year - the injuries were incurred by players who were not at fault, but fill stations had been contaminated by oil on fill nipples, and anything blown inside can contribute A less drastic issue is that regulators fail due to accumulated ‘dirty air’ then the burst disk does its job - still dramatic but less dangerous, and I’ve been present at quite a few burst disk failures, you don’t want a spinning cylinder hitting your ankle (I’ve never had one on mine, I’m usually running away) If you do need and are committed, I don’t have an opinion on particular compressors / brands - just be aware of their uses & limitations

  7. I've had good after sales from Patrol Base with faulty returns.
  8. ROE Hadleigh use this brand in their shop for air guns and HPA top ups and works well in a retail setting so should be more then enough for home use
  9. Yesterday
  10. Just to make people aware, I placed an order with Outdoor Zone in Ireland. I received it yesterday and they had sent me the wrong model. They refused to pay for return shipping even though it was their mistake... It was an all metal AEG.. Not the lightest or cheapest to return! I know it's only a little thing, however it's something to consider if you decide to shop with them
  11. Is that a lipo, looks like a icepole to me 😜
  12. I’ll second Firesupport. Always great service, before, during and after an order.
  13. You have some adverts hidden, they have username so not done by Mods. I think Wanted adverts are part of the count, not just for sale ones.

  15. I'd recommend taking that lipo to your local recycling centre. It looks like it's bulging and could burn your house down.
  16. Back in the day I remember fire support were good with this stuff. They can also get random bits and bobs
  17. Occasionally, I just remember seeing you and thinking that's a tough gig. Fair play for getting stuck in! Didn't get to chat with you as I was on the opposite team. Maybe next time.
  18. Yes done this many of time and with many ak’s / variants, real steel wood handguards fit with slight modification, repo zenitco is the same along with other brands of Ak, some slight filing and sanding to achieve the perfect fitment, repo zenitco stocks are the same some slight sanding and filling, basically anything you want to add to your pew will need some form of modification to get it to fit but nothing major
  19. My battery still goes in the dd handguard but I had to remove the gas parts.
  20. I cannot remember where we put the battery after I fitted a DD rail to Ben's one; I think we might have use a dummy PEQ box. I think if I was to get one, I would stick with the polymer handguards.
  21. Depends how they are run, well structure threads with topics and snippets of the good info, but it all depends on the admin and/or members. The GBBR discord is decent and a good area for knowledge and tips, not toxic that ive ever seen. Then you have some discords that are just hell holes and impossible without the search function.
  22. Hi, What is the length of the original barrel?
  23. I remember the same thing being said about faceache groups and pretty much every other form of social media. One of the big advantages forums have over other places is that it's easier to find previously posted information, whereas newer platforms are designed to force users to post rather than actually put in any effort to finding the answers themselves.
  24. TBF you can easily spend that or more on an off the shelf Gibson , but not cheep certainly . Mind you , the quality is so far beyond my Gibson .Yep its a shame about the bridge , but the one they are using in it's place is pretty damn near identical .
  25. Picked this up at a local boot fair for £5, cleaned it right up and works great (on the lef)
  26. Hi, recently purchased a Arcturus PP-19 and I want to chage a few parts to zenitco style but the Arcturus parts can't be got anywhere in the UK but the LCT ones can. ie the front handguard parts and stocks My question is- has anyone fitted the LCT parts to an arcturus and if so did they need modding at all? TFL
  27. Thats good, this was like me when loading mine 🤣

For sale is my VFC Colt 733, only reason for sale is acquiring another VFC AR and getting some funds back from that. The gun has had the following upgrades: Maple Leaf Crazy Jet 6.02mm Inner Barrel PDI W-Hold Bucking VFC NPAS These were fitted to address pretty much the only flaws with 733, which were a lack of FPS adjustment and a poor quality bucking and barrel. The gun is otherwise stock This has been skirmished and taken apart a few times but is overall in good condition as pictured with a few signs of use and small scratches. There’s a more noticeable one under the barrel where the front sight was removed with the grub screw still in. Functionally it is in complete working order, with one gas tight mag. The stock has a little play but has been like that from new, will throw in a 6-position buffer tube which works better. Also throwing in a John Masen style stock pad and OD Lonestar style grip sprayed black I’m looking to sell this ideally but would consider a swap/ PX for a VFC MP5SD or JW4 TTI Viper Please PM with any offers or questions Thanks!
