FECKIN SUBSTITUTIONS 😱, its not feckin Iceland ffs, give people what they order, & if some bits ain't in stock, refund the difference,  not fob them off with the crap you can't shift in your going out of business sale.

Clearly they're attitude to customer service is still shit 🤬

I cannot see any reason for substituting items that have been ordered.  If they don’t have enough in stock, their inventory management needs to be improved; they cannot just send people something that they did not order.

I went in yesterday at lunchtime. They have very few bb bottles left. Mostly the Perfect BLS .2s and .25s Tracer ones. I bought 6 bottles of the .3 Devils and a bunch of other stuff.  They had none of the G&G or BLS.28s left. Got 2 Nuprol AK Flash Mags, couple of possibly Boneyard RIFs that they didn't have on the website, a couple of decent old stock Viper Special ops zipped jumpers they stopped making 15 years ago that I have been looking for for a while.

It's just one guy left in the shop.  The shutter is half down so he can concentrate on internet orders and people who are in the know can ring the shop when they are outside to be let in. Mostly to prevent browsers/time wasters.

It's looking awfully empty in there.

I was told that Saturday will likely be the last day they open.

That is worrying!  I have just put in an order for BBs, which are very well priced in the sale.

The 0.28g tracers were one of the substituted items.

Fair enough.  Thanks for the clarification.

I stand corrected, my reaction was due to some of the crap I've read, & personally seen, in the past, when I used to use them 20+ years ago.

They have always had a mixed reputation to be fair. Never had an issue with them before other than they were closed a couple of times when i was in the area. will see what happens tomorrow. Gun was bought on a whim. receive it or refund either will be fne.

This post just cost me £150, as i went "ooohhh BBs".. which led to more BBs, some grease, a spare mag, and now a glock 19. 😬

Wolf shutting down is a shame. IIRC they were the cheapest place in the UK when I pre-ordered the NGRS MP5SD (yup never thought I'd type that sentence).

I also never really had an issue with most of the staff tho that may be that on my visits I went in with a definite shopping list and an occasional 'ooooo whats that'.

I ordered something from their sale late weds night, it's arrived this morning.

I used to think of them as expensive and having poor delivery times, they just beat every other reputable uk retailer by a good 24 hrs in my experience.

Just got a refund notice saying that due to traffic, the things I’ve ordered aren’t in stock…

A truly fitting end

edit: looks like they did phone me. But I’ll try and reorder the bb’s and ignore the out of stock stuff

When I bought my NGRS MP5A5 they were the cheapest retailer too - and delivered within 24 hours at no extra cost.

From my experience, it will be a shame to see them go.

Wolf Armouries put itself up for sale before Bunker 51 went under though you can't see the closure helping matters.

AGL Airsoft is also just 5 minutes away on foot and while it's not sprawling with products, it has value-added services with a shooting range. I haven't been there but I'd imagine its staff are less... curmudgeonly than those at Wolf Armouries.

My understanding that AGL is actually a former Wolf employee from way back.

It’s defintiely going to be a shame, I remember doing my UKARA with them back when they were at the London Bridge site and going along to the trial Bunker51 with Dan and a few others

but Max who owned it and not sure if he still does was hands down one of the biggest twats I’ve ever met in this industry.
