HELP.

My partner is massively in to airsoft and has mentioned in the past that he wants a rubber knife.

I want to get him one for Christmas- but have no clue which one is the best to get?

If anyone can help I would appreciate it massively!

I think they are all very similar in quality and everything. There are just different designs.

I would recommend these ...

But I guess they won't come for Christmas?

I've ordered from them before, very good, first order seemed like only a week or two, then the others took about a month - as you'd expect from Asia :(

This one on the other hand is from Huddersfield store Patrol Base. It's my local shop and I can recommend it.

Cold Steel Training Knives

I thought they (or at least some of them) had hard rods in them which werent allowed on some game sites, or am i mistaken?

Depends on the site you're at mate. Some allow them others don't.

News to me. The three I have are blunt and broad edged. About as dangerous as a piece of 2x4.

Most sites say you can only tap with the flat edge any way.

Cold Steel Training Knives

no.

unless I am mistaken they are plastic/polymer hence limits the use and ups the risk of actual damage.

The Malls won't let you use anything you can't bend. ISTR cold steel ones are stiffer.

I didn't know about the Mall - never played there - never likely to.

The OP has got her present so problem sorted.

Out of interest, Ive got one of the knives linked to. Of course, they are bendy plastic not rubber.

The silly thing is that you would struggle to hurt anybody with a Cold Steel knife, You would break a rib or give them blunt instrument trauma before penetrating the skin. Have you actually seen one close up ?

The above linked knives have a nasty point on them, Could do a lot more damage if you held the blade rather than the hilt. They also never look straight because the blade plastic is bendy along its length.
