Hi all

As title says what is/was a scary moment for you in airsoft game, not at home cleaning and forgetting a bb in chamber, but out on the field.

I'll start off with this one that happened to me on Sunday just gone at combat south woodland, game was capture the fort, for those of you that don't know CBS the fort is a two storey building and a gangway to a small rear two storey section, in main part of fort is a smallish bunker type thing which sits inside the middle of fort looking out at doorway.

Now here's what happened I was laid down behind the bunker with my MK46 looking out towards door only could see to the right, guy next to me was covering left side. first shout of 'GERNADE' followed by boom one kill by door, second shout 'GERNADE' followed by a lot of running on upper level 3 kills, and then guy next to shouts 'FUCK GERNADE' he ducks I'm still laid looking down my sights out towards door and I see a slight movement in front of me and 'BOOOM' the grenade explodes 1/2 feet from my face. luckily I turned my head sideways and down towards the dirty got full blast of that bastard though nice numb left cheek for a few hours and a slight bruise, game was stopped for a few mins, can't praise the marshalls and guy next to me enough for their part to check if I was ok did I want to sit next game out etc. Did it put me off, did it bollox just carried on. will I be going next week NO I ain't gonna risk getting hurt of any kind, not with a free trip to Taiwan two days after, but I'll be there soon.

So come on lets hear them scary stories

i had a similar won the last time i went, at cool under fire. i was sat behind so sandbag which had a tree just infront of it.

someone throws a grenade at me, it gets caught in the tree right infront of my face, i take cover till it explodes, sit back up and another grenade lands right inbetween my legs, at this point my butt clenches and i throw myself away from it lol and it explodes by my feet, little bit hit lol.

I remember one time when I came to within mere inches of actually pooing myself, I was sat on the upper level of the fort at my regular site, I think I was dead at the time and waiting for the fort to be cleared and I didn't want to pass through the crossfire to get out.

Anyway, so I'm sat there, back to the wall, legs apart and a Mk5 comes sailing over the wall and lands literally on my groin.

I have guns and shit all around me so getting up is a struggle, so I just have to sit there in horror.

After what seemed like the longest .5 of a second in my life, I realised it wasn't lit and it was just the marshals fucking with me.

...Phew.

When I was dead in a game, I had to wait for a medic to save me. So I stood there, gazing up at the stars and moonlight, slowly watching as the clouds catch the wind and swiftly move by, dreaming of colourful unicorns and majestic ponies prancing over rainbows, slowly moving side to side as I can't stay still. Oh how content I was all to be rudely awakened by an SAS wannabe with an MP5 coming round the corner and laying some hundreds of rounds down at me within a distance of about 10m. Then I had to shout angrily that I was dead.

Then I got a response saying, "Oh, I'm sorry."

I wasn't happy.

Dazzer I did something similar to someone in the "pig pen" part of the CS fort. I threw in a pea grenade and it went directly Into the pen where a rental was laying down. BANG!! Right next to his head.

I had a Thermobaric explode in my combat thigh pocket. I'd dropped it in last minute and forgotten about it. Body heat went up over the session and when I was stood next to a young lad BOOM off it went. Blew out the whole pocket, and singed off the hair on my inside leg, though despite a major fright and a wave of heat I wasn't actually burnt or hurt. Me and the other guy got the single biggest scare of our lives.

That video of the guy stuck in the mud is section 8 in Scotland, seen a guy do the same thing, but there was a few folk around at the time to get him out, bloody messy though. My scariest (so far!!!!). walking back to a spawn point when a sniper in our time pressed the trigger just as my head came into the firing line, he was about maybe 15 feet from me. Thank fuck I was wearing a helmet that day at 400+ fps I would have had a bb firmly stuck in my forehead. don't know who crapped it more me or him.

Hey Dazzer306 well done on the trip with G&G, result!!!!. now go wrap yourself in cotton wool until the trip, risk nothing. If you do get hurt and can't go, first dip's pleeeeeease.

I was the last person on my team, I decided to run into a building and attempt to hold the off the enemy from there. A few minutes later, I hear footsteps. A LOT of foot steps, getting louder and louder, until eventually it stopped just outside of a door, I decided to hide behind a box in the room. Someone kicks the door in and at that moment I didn't know what to do! They started to look around the room, I decided to peek around the box, and someone was just standing there, right behind the box, and his buddy just a few feet away from him. One of them decided to shout "CLEAR!" so I stood up from behind the box and shot the remaining people in the room with me, once they started to walk out, I looked through a window to see if anyone was running towards the building, then I was shot in the head by someone in a hedge. Game over.

It didn't happen to me but one of the guys on the team, he was crouching outside the door of a building waiting for us to stack up to assault it, I was about 5 ft away. A Mk5 came out the door but it didn't fly straight, the guy who threw it had put fishing line on it so it swung round the door frame and smacked my team mate on the helmet and came to rest on his left shoulder between his shoulder and ear.

BOOM! The guy had cooked it to perfection and it went off as soon as it came to rest.

I was surprised we weren't treating the guy for a ruptured ear drum!

Didnt happen to me but I was involved. Was at combat south woodland with two friends and we were playing zombies. Anyways all 3 of us are sat down on one of the forts gangways with our guns pointed at the main entrance (gets a bit boring after a while) and I get hit by a stray bb. On the way back to the zombie respawn I remember I have a flashbang left so I run back to the fort, try to figure out where my mates are, light it, throw it and that was the end of that. About a minute later I find them at the zombie respawn and ask them what happened to which they replied " some dickhead threw a flashbang over the wall, bounced off my head and landed on my crotch and before we could move it went off" Still my proudest moment in airsoft :D

walking back to spawn, into a

doorway, get shot from a feet or so in the face by a rental.. REALLY

freaked him out. I was wearing a mesh mask luckily and just keep walking

"dont worry about it"

>Be sniping in a rolling defense game, attackers have to capture points, defenders only get one life at each one.

>Enemy declares the point I'm at clear.

>Marshal hasn't seen me yet either and decides to call for a break in the game (Its sticky and hot, people are steaming up and tempers are flaring)

>Have to stay perfectly still with my body over the top of my rifle, as it isn't scrimmed up for 5 minutes in direct LOS to the enemy who are about ten meters away from me

>Shitting it already

>Game on called, enemy start to advance

>2 enemies break off from the main group, and head my direction

>One of them passes out of my peripherals

>I hear a stick snap, it's right next to me on a path about 6 feet away

>Poo comes out

>Enemy keeps advancing... I'm alive....

My face when I open up on 20+ hostiles from behind, and they're too busy shouting at each other for blue on blue to notice it was me.

At The Stan. There's a room which can be entered by three doors, two of which involve stairs up, plus there's a mostly-blocked-by-rubble dark corridor, and on one side is a loading dock. It's a key game area as it's the only route from the courtyard to the interior of the factory buildings on that side of the site. I wasn't a noob exactly, but I was definitely still wearing L plates, and it was my first time at CQB and on that site. So, sneaking into this room with one other bloke, himself pretty noobish I think, and seemingly capturing it, thus allowing us to dramatically hinder the opposition felt too good to be true...

...my adrenalin was majorly up already, but as we scan around with rifles raised ready to fire my heartbeat was thudding in my ears (ok I was also pretty out of shape too  )...

A fizzing MK12 landed in the middle of the floor between the two of us. I probably yelped as I took a running step and jumped off the dock, but to the side rather than straight out, so that the wall would be between the flashbang and me. I landed in a pile of shite - rubble, rubbish, low growing brambles, etc. and as my fat bastard middle age weight caught up with my much younger memory of how to do these things, I desperately needed to stagger. Unfortunately my feet were impeded by the aforementioned shite so instead of 'paratrooper' it was more like 'paraplegic' and I went straight over forwards.

Fortunately the muscle memory of a very active earlier life kicked in and I was able to take it on my shoulder, roll, and spring up again - not a mark on me (thanks to good boots, good gloves, and modified ACM kneepads). Amazingly enough my plastic CYMA AK was fine too, although I had hugged it close to my chest, so only the stock would have hit. It all happened so fast that I can't say I was scared during the event, but it caught up with me afterwards alright! The other bloke, who had just taken the hit, kept asking me if I was alright and I sort of couldn't believe I felt like I was so I was sure there must be something so dire that I couldn't feel it

The most scared I've felt though was when I accidentally shot somebody on full auto from about 2-3m with a 365+ AEG and drew blood from his face. I mean I shot him on purpose, but I thought I was on single shot.

Scariest moment? Partially fogged up goggles, in the forest, almost trip over a branch but save myself. Coolest moment? On my first skirmish in TWA Croydon there was this guy with a FAMAS hiding in a bush just destroying us we thought he was a sniper. I went into a building got right next to the window and started epicly snap-shooting him. It was quick and cool but he ended up shooting me straight in the middle of my goggles and I jumped back and called my hit.
