Okay yeah I didn't really do well in terms of parameters 😅. I guess what I meant was is there been anything released in the past few years that's absolutely incredible, amazing out of the box that doesn't need a series of upgrades to feel snappy, sound great and be reliable? I know I'm after the unicorn but I remember stuff like the Evo was very highly rated and was just wondering if something like that had been released since

Welcome. As already posted a good rule of thumb is 60-70% below the lowest price new. Unfortunately 2 tones will be at the lower end of this. If you're not sure how much anything is worth then put a post up in the appraisals section. In general try to put in your advert as much detail as possible and make sure to mention any issues or cosmetic damage and your location (you'd be surprised how many ads go up saying collection only but don't list this).

Probably anything Marui then?

Hi Guys, Looking for a bit of help. I've had an Evike order of parts held by UPS. There is a plethora of threads on importing RIF's and handling this documentation but can't find the relevant information in regards to Parts. The part in question is a (not cheap) Laylax Nitro RIS Guard. Attached is a picture of the item. The form sent through by UPS is for 'RIF' Declaration. I've also attached this form for reference. RIF declaration_blank.pdf I was an ehobbyasia regular shopper years ago and never seen anything like this. It's very geared towards the import of actual RIF's and I'm struggling to decipher what is and isn't needed here. I don't have a valid UKARA number, It's been over a decade since I last Skirmished, I'm just trying to get back into it and step 1 was to resurrect my old guns. I don't believe under the UKARA/VCRA I'm required to provide a skirmisher number for this part but the document appears to be written in such a way that it requires it. Any help is appreciated. 31/03/2025 EDIT: I received the parts without any real issue. I completed the form detailing that it's not a RIF/IF, has no velocity because it is not a RIF/IF and as it was a part/accessory could not be used to manufacture an RIF/IF. Released without issue. If you are in a similar position please be mindful of these things. I don't want to hijack the purpose of this thread but when it comes to importing actual RIF/IF's (as has been discussed later in the thread) I offer no advice and I can only reccomend you to contact your favourite local Retailer and work with them to get what you're after. In my experience most will be happy to support you even if they don't stock the item themselves.

Ahoy and welcome. I'm unclear, did you disassemble the upper / handguard and do anything with the outer barrel? Or was it already like that? Do you have a picture of how badly it's off centre? Have you adjusted the motor height? You want to move the adjusted screw in gradually until it you can hear it just starting to screech, then back it out. Play around with it a bit to hear the different sounds it makes at different heights, and get it as quiet as you can. You might find that you're comparing against video of short-stroked gearboxes as well, with higher torque motors, running on 11.1V. Specna stock motors are OK, but not great. Most aftermarket motors will be significantly snappier.

Hey guys, I know we already have a dedicated section but it's mostly used for site reviews, which I love reading from down here, especially Asomodai's ones, but I reckon it'll get more visibility here. I'm interested in hearing how your day went, whether it's a simple skirmish, a full day themed event or a hardcore milsim! In particular I'd like to hear anecdotes, something in particular that made (or broke) your day, or even just some venting because of one or multiple unpleasant events, maybe a super long range shot or if you snuck so close to someone you managed to tap him on the shoulder. These kinds of things Lemme start this absolute shitshow by telling you (I don't care if you don't care, you sit there and read) my day. So, today was the first game after the summer pause, it gets quite warm here in summer and people prefer to roast themselves on a beach rather than play with toy gnus, I was very excited as I took my new specna for a spin. Due to the relatively low numbers we invited another club to play with us (which from now on will be called "cheater club" but I won't bore you with the explanation), we ended up being 18 people, 12 of us + 6 of them and some randoms thrown in. The day started well, with the two first games being a little slow paced due to "the others" playing for the first time in the highest part of our field. Hit calling was generally good until the last three games. The first one of these three saw me sneaking up to 4/5 metres of an enemy sniper, who was unaware of my presence as he was focused on pinning down my teammates. Flick the gun to semi and let off a couple of shots into the only visible part, the head. Both BBs impacted. And this is where it all goes to shit. The guy visibly flinches, turns towards me and ducks into cover, to pop up later with his pistol, but I'm still there waiting, this time with the fun switch on, and let off a small bursts that gets him right in the forehead. Still flinches and dives back into cover. At this point I'm pissed, I hold down the trigger to keep him down while moving to the side to get a better shot, as we were separated by a small ridge. At this point half a flash mag has been dumped. When I get really close to him, must've been 2/3 metres at best, he pokes out of cover and lets off a nice full auto burst from his CO2 pistol in my neck. I'm not Shouty McYelly, so I call my hit and walk away. Game ends and the guy comes out of his little trench, bleeding with visible welts on his forehead. Didn't feel bad for a second about it. Also quite a few people were watching the scene so I didn't even need to say or do anything as it was pretty obvious what happened. The game after I'm on defense, I set up an ambush on a small side path on the left hand side of the objective and spot a 3 man squad coming my way, I let the first one pass and unleash hell on the second and third guy. The second enemy dives into cover while the third, a good 10/15 metres behind the other two, is still in the open, so I instantly direct the fire towards him. Now I'm not 100% sure I hit him as he was a good 40 metres away, but my gun does reach up to at least 55 metres, I was shooting down from an elevated position and the spread was still torso sized. Nonetheless, the target at first stands still in surprise and then runs away. Meh. Follows a nice exchange of bbs with my club's president (the first guy) but then I'm overran and eliminated. Still a bit puzzled by this "incident", but again, might have misjudged the distance but it seemed like I did reach that guy, as when the game ended he told me my bbs were zipping past him. The magic of airsoft and round lightweight ammunition. Then the last game of the day, we send the whole cheater club to defend a small chapel, we as attackers have two advantages. Range, because we are starting from the high ground, and terrain knowledge. We split up in 2/3 man teams as we always do, my mate and I decide to go on a huuuuge flanking maneuver that gets us behind the objective. At this point it gets ridiculous: We emerge out of cover right next to a girl who was looking at the opposite direction, none of us saw her (new nickname, Eagle Eye lol) until she moved a few branches. On the plus side she somehow didn't hear us. Great, let's spread out now so she doesn't fuck both of us up with a single sweep. Slowly creeping towards her, I flick the gun to semi, wait for my teammate to move a bit and then I pull the trigger.... Nothing, fuck's sake, the gun locked up. She notices us, turns around to shoot us but we're already behind cover: me in a dip protected by a bush, my teammate on the opposite side of the very tree she was using as cover. I draw my pistol, pop out of cover and fire 4 shots, hitting her in the side of the mask (from 3 metres, clearly saw the bbs hitting) as she was looking at my teammate. I dive back into cover, she turns around towards me and my mate puts 4 bbs in her side while she lets off a small unaimed burst between us. Note that this took some seconds so she had the time to call the hit, but she doesn't until she took my mate's balls (lul). The hit was called, but suddenly she starts yelling that she hit both of us and ran to cry about it to our club's president. I stare at my mate, he stares at me, we both shrug and keep playing. We both end up being taken out by her boyfriend, who got himself into a really cheeky position and was almost invisible from where we were (imagine a huge bush with the tiniest of tiny holes in it and a barrel barely poking out, good luck spotting that), good play by him and we complimented. A rollercoaster of a day, which started with the best premises but ended in disappointment. How did your day go? Did you have the same bad luck as me? Did you have a great time?

2 x Official Slings for the ASG Scorpion Evo. These have been used, so some signs of wear. Mostly paint chipped off the metal parts but the straps themselves still in good condition. This adaptive sling is designed especially for the Scorpion EVO 3 A1. It allows for a multitude of carry styles. It is made to transition quickly from style of carry to another. Designed to accommodate even larger players wearing bulky tactical vests. The quick pull tab is constructed to eliminate snagging when moving through brush and woodland environments. The price is £14 posted for one sling or £25 for both. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. I'm listing this "As New" because it hasn't been skirmished and in fact I built it in late March this year. However as always some marks occurs through light use/testing and tweaking etc. Build includes: * AAP-01C (bought new) * 5KU Lightweight Bolt with switch in Purple. * TTI CNC Short Stroke kit (currently with the 2mm buffer installed). * Tridos Designs Steel Firing Pin Lock. * TTI Victor Tactical Trigger in Black. * Jefe Airsoft Steel Trigger Spring. * CTM Nylon Fibre 22/45 Frame in Grey. As pictured I will include the steel hammer. For full transparency I did previously have this installed in the gun and maybe I'm doing something wrong but with it in, it was only firing in full-auto. So I reinstalled the brand new stock one. It's possible that someone more technically minded will be able to identify and resolve the issue. I believe these tastefully done aftermarket parts have improved not only the aesthetics but reliability, efficiency and performance. Also included is an additional AA magazine, again in as new condition and the stock bolt. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please ask any questions via PM, as I don't get notifications for anything added to the listing.£175

Good point very well presented. The main danger will be indoor events, I don't know of any that would actually be covered by their insurance (assuming you're in the UK) for anything over a MK5 indoors so that would immediately drop you to around 120dB. Personally I've never had an issue with anything in the UK while wearing active hearing protection (Earmor M32s and Howard Leight Impact Sports) so I would think you'd be fine. If your local site is allowing TAG grenades like the M67 indoors then I'd be looking for somewhere else to play. Also important to know is that your dB calculation is a bit off:

As per the title this is designed for Tokyo Marui Glock 17's but should also fit the 22 and 34. It definitely won't fit the newer Gen 4 and 5's though. This was briefly fitted to one of my builds and has some marks on the dummy ejector and the area it slides into but other than that is in excellent all-round condition. The standout part is obviously the CNC Steel slide, this provides the ultimate realism for any TM Glock build. It's a world apart from the Aluminium version, it's satisfyingly heavy but that of course does mean that you need to make provisions for increasing the power. Needless to say this wouldn't run very well on 134a gas. This set includes: -Guarder CNC Steel Glock 17 Gen 2 (U.S markings) Slide. - Guarder Nylon Fibre Glock 17 Gen 2 (U.S markings) Frame. - Guarder Steel Front Chassis. - Guarder Recoil Spring (the one designed to be used with Steel slides). - Guarder Blowback Housing. - Guarder Enhanced Nozzle Spring. - Guarder Enhanced Hammer Spring. - Guarder Steel Dummy Ejector. - Guarder Front and Rear Sights (2x Rear included, one of which is the Night Sight version). You would need to add a Guarder Steel outer barrel and possibly a reinforced nozzle if you're using high-powered gas but then you've got yourself the ultimate Airsoft Gen 2 Glock 17. Stated priced includes PayPal fees and tracked postage. Please PM me any questions as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.£179

If it still refusing to come off, dunk that end into a cup of scalding hot boiled water for about 20-30 secs it’ll allow the muzzle to expand ever so slightly and loosen off anything causing it to bind And it’s a reverse thread

For any rayguns held by the 501st legion - every raygun is based on a real firearm, based on the original Star Wars props being anything they had in the studio props …. keep your eyes out for Bristol news over the weekend UKGF don’t tend to attract the idiots, and they do put out good guidelines on not being an idiot, but as we are pretty much in central Bristol this weekend extra reminders have been posted

Fair, the combination of earplugs and earmuffs is often more than just the sum of the two devices though: https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/893191O/earlog-13.pdf?fn=EARLog 13.pdf That shows that the NRR of combined devices can be as much as 50dB. The other thing to consider is situational awareness. If you're wearing ear defenders AND ear plugs to deal with a potential flashbang then you will NOT hear anything else. Attenuation due to distance is governed by an inverse square law which equates to 6dB per doubling of distance. Something that is 120dB at 10m will be 146dB at 0.5m (calculator here: https://www.wkcgroup.com/tools-room/inverse-square-law-sound-calculator/) IN OPEN SPACE! As for the Thunder B - while I can find references to "up to 130dB" I don't see anywhere that it says what distance that is measured at?

Hi I work for a large airsoft company in the UK and I am interested in what airsofters want out of airsoft. I am not just looking for specific guns people want to see but more on what activities and events you would be interested in. It can be themes, gadgets, facilities, videos, and much more. I want your opinions on anything you have ever wondered or thought about doing within the world of airsoft. I do not wish to disclose what airsoft company I work for and would prefer to just hear what your ideas are. This is not a money making scheme I am just interested to see if there is anything this community would like that could improve their performance and grow the sport with ideas and innovations. This is open to all and allows other to see the ideas and develop them and not just a company taking ideas to make a quick buck. Thank you

I have the Double Eagle version and reckon it's pretty decent. At the £40-50 price point, I think it's decent value now. It's only been fielded so many times but it's been reliable and taken a few knocks without anything breaking. The paint on the shell release lever and the front sling attachment ring does flake off quite easily if that sort of thing bothers you.

Shooting on a range will be fine At 10 he won’t be able to play at standard sites, but there could be local sites that have junior play, perhaps with laser for min impact etc. Or they may be happy for visits on their range Shooting in your garden may or may not be fine One risk of home shooting is being overlooked ‘with a gun’ and getting reported resulting with an armed response Another is disturbing neighbors and reported as antisocial (not illegal, but continued acts can result in ASBOs and the breach of an ASBO is an offence) Talking to neighbours deals with that - and stopping if they aren’t happy The remaining is the discharge of an airweapon within proximity of a road, footpath etc. Those would be an offence None of the above relate to your encounter, so just decide if garden shooting is suitable Now ‘prevent’ Being reported does not mean anything is wrong Prevent is to enable minor individual factors to be noticed which could add up to a risk, such as being open to radicalisation etc You have given the flags in your post: ADHD - this may make an individual more at risk of being targeted and influenced (It could also make those less likely depending on the individual) Interests of history and war - pretty normal - but could be flags and exploited Politics is a bit more niche for an 10 year old, but a fair interest to have and also could be exploited (Be wary of having fathered the next William Hague - he was a speaker to the Conservative conference at 16) There is nothing wrong with his interests. But he is young and these give areas that someone could exploit and push to radicalise. (History and politics as interests can also result in self radicalisation) None of the above, nor a report to prevent mean anything is a risk to your son, and does not mean you are radicalising him. It means that someone felt the need to make a report. That is most likely to come to nothing more than being spoken to If a concern of being more open, then forms of counselling can be available to balance away from radical areas https://www.gov.uk/guidance/get-help-if-youre-worried-about-someone-being-radicalised#what-happens-when-a-person-is-referred-to-prevent
