  1. General rule of thumb - anything Novi branded is just repackaged direct from a chinese factory with a premium for his label on the box. Same as most "genuine" car parts.

  3. That was something I was curious about, if that email address actually worked. There's a bunch of 8fields stuff on TG and a load of midcaps for various guns I have that would be nice to get at some point, but I never put much stock in the whole "email patrol base to get it in for you" after I did the same for a bunch of m700 parts from airsoftzone.com (who also name Patrol Base as a UK retailer who can get stuff from them) and Patrol Base told me "no we can't order anything in, sorry."

This srs is a great sniper, very quite and been a pleasure to use. I have set it up for my game style, if you were to buy this srs the scope and hop will most likely need adjusting to suit you. Its set up for 0.48g bbs and is bang on 2.32j. 5 shots in the chrono and it ranged 2.30-2.32j. Its never been over site limits. I would really prefer collection (Reading) so the buyer can check and is happy with the srs and suit. I will post it, but please understand you would be buying this blind and i will not warrant/replace anything your not happy with it, its 2nd hand/used and not bran new, sorry for sounding blunt, id rather sell face to face. I would have to look into the postage costs. I could meet at red alert airsoft thatcham if your local could bring along for viewing. Paypal fees and postage will be added if not collecting. May consider a cash deal. CASE IS NOT INCLUDED. Any questions please. Many thanks

Tokyo Marui MK18 NGRS - Fully Upgraded to the max. This thing is an absolute beast and has served me extremely well. It's fully upgraded, to the point you couldn't physically do anything more to it. All upgrades were done by the incredible Graham at Tactical Geordies so I've got plenty of photos and videos of all work that has been done to it. When I bought it, it was in a bit of a sorry state internally thanks to an old tech but I can hands down say it's a completely different rif now thanks to the magic Graham did on it. You can freely look at the photos and videos he has available of it on his Facebook & Instagram pages. It's very accurate and punches bb's out to 70 Meters. You'd be in the realms of competing against snipers and I've picked off a fair few using it. Now I always swore that I'd never sell it (my mates would even give me stick for putting it up for sale), but I've since bought a Mk18 MWS so this has now gone to the cupboard and stayed there. I've got an MP5 NGRS for when I want to switch out to AEG. I've put a photo up of how I've had it set up in the past, please note it'll come without attachments as these have now ended up on my other MK18 however this should give you an idea of how it can look. Will not come with Case but it's the only photo I had where the mags are ok show too. There are some scuffs on it, it's been used so it's expected and although I try to be careful.. it's Airsoft so it's sure to happen. I've pictured the scuffs, scratches etc. I don't have a box for it but I may have something I could send it in should you want it delivered, it's survived all the trips hundreds of miles it's been sent back and fourth to the tech so I'd have faith it'll survive on its way to you. Or come and collect it, up to you. It's not seen a game since the Leviathan was installed but when you plug it in, it'll say it's fired over 1000 shots, this is due to the Tech fully stress testing the rif to make sure it's running perfectly smooth. It saw one game with the Brushless motor fitted but the gate titan that was previously installed didn't agree to well with the motor and kept throwing up errors, hence the switch to the leviathan (even the tech has stopped installing gates due to their reliability issues). If you have any questions, please let me know. Got plenty of videos of it working as it should along with videos etc. It's cost me considerably more than the price you can have it for. Secure payments only on this so we are both protected. Internals: - Mirror polishing. AoE. Radiusing. 0.05mm shimming. Viton o-rings. - Tappet fin reshaped for ZCI delay chip and fps consistency. - Jefftron Leviathan (Bluetooth and real feel trigger) - Wired to Deans - Laylax trigger pin - FLT NGRS bushings - T238 Brushless Motor - TM bevel gear (better pinion meshing and lower amp draw) - ZCI spur and sector - E6 Enhanced recoil spring - SHS spring guide - E6 M90 - FPS Carbon fibre piston - FPS piston head - FPS cylinder head - FPS nozzle - Lambda One 303mm 6.01mm tightbore - PDI W-hold with red AK2M4 Omega nub Externals: - PTS EPG Grip - PTS EPS Stock Accessories: - 4 x PTS EPM NGRS Magazines - Could provide batteries with it that the tech built the rif with and fit perfectly into the stock. 6. I have a complete set of internals for the TM Glock 19 Gen 3. It's a long embarrassing story but I tried to put the TM frame internals into a Guarder frame. I have done this before with Guarder Glock 17 Gen 2 and 4 frames and encountered little or no difficulty. However the Glock 19 frame was anything but a straight fit. When I finally got them in, the slide stuck and I had to hammer it off. I tried again - first removing material from the inside of the frame and trying the slide again - and again and again and again, finally damaging the Guarder frame and breaking the TM slide. In the end I gave up, put the parts in a box and sold the magazine. So what I have now is a complete set of internal parts including bbu, outer and inner barrel, front and rear sights etc - everything except a slide, frame and magazine. I still have the original Marui frame which has a slight mark next to one of the assembly pin holes that you would probably not notice. Now, as I understand it, I can sell the parts without requiring a defence of the buyer, because they are only parts and not a rif. However I am thinking that it might be best not to include the TM frame, in case the authorities regard it as a part too far. I mean if a buyer could get the gun to work, he would only need a slide to have a full pistol. So forget the frame. Can I sell all the parts together to anyone whether they have a defence, or not, or should I sell them in smaller batches? It's no big either way for me but they are no use to me and so I thought somebody else might be able to make use of them for a small sum. If it I recently received a metal hi capa slide from Hong Kong which was delayed in customs. They asked me to complete a customs declaration form for firearms and threatened to charge me for storage. I wrote back to them explaining that I was importing a small metal part (an empty aluminium shell about 15cm long, 2cm wide and weighing about 80 grams) to replace a plastic part on an airsoft pistol already owned and had bought in England and that it was all perfectly legal. Eventually they relented and released the item on payment of 41 quid. This experience has made me a little nervous about what the law is, and just how well the civil servants know it.

  8. Since the regular MTW is so good, I'm actually hoping that internally they're almost identical. I still won't get the gen1 as soon as this releases though; even with something like an MTW, I'd rather wait and see if any problems arise and then if they do I can get the gen2 where all the problems are fixed And yeah, if other MTWs are anything to go by, these will be pretty expensive. Since I also want to do one with a HPA stock like a Wraith X or something, I reckon the build will easily go over £1000 for what I want to do, so it's good that I have time to put money aside for it
  9. Anything to do with firing mechanism and or pressure baring parts in a real firearm is restricted so i could see making triggers could get you in hot water if the police were looking to boost arrest statistics.
  10. Hi Everyone I need some help recently I borrowed my friend's spence arms m249 para and fell in love with the idea of a support role made for some great defensive games but when I said I might buy one myself he said to get the full size version instead of the para when looking I couldn't see any difference between the two spec wise unless I have missed anything my question really is their actually a difference? other than one being smaller is size any light on the topic is appreciated thank you in advance.
  11. Tbh I'm finding that I don't carry primers on me as much any more as quite a few cqb sites are putting restrictions on the number of bangs you can use in a game I just saw this in the description Magnetic primer remover lifts the fired primer out of the chamber. Is there iron or steel in there? The ones I've always had are copper so I wouldn't expect a magnet to do anything. Also I just tend to tip the primer holding bit over and let gravity do the work
  12. I'd agree with the general consensus on here. Do some basic tests yourself and see what's working well. Get enough to see you through a game day or 2. If you haven't, I'd suggest picking up a new rif and offloading anything you don't absolutely love. Having a tech do proper checks will cost a fortune. All the rifs etc are just extra weight on the mind and a distraction from actually playing (which I think is the good bit) get stuff you love and can use. Keep anything you love and move anything you don't love on to pay for the new bits and free up head space. I always think a high quality item is better than 3 cheap ones. Unless teching is a side of Airsoft you love (and by the fact you even asked this question, I guess you don't) the whole tech side can be a slog that takes away from the pure joy of our sport and I've seen people get so wrapped up in it they forget the objective is to have fun playing army soldiers.
  13. 100% agree with this. The standard of banter and actually useful (borne out of real experience) advice and information on here, beats anything I've seen on FB. FB groups are quite toxic on the whole, I'm not sure I'd want anything created and administrated on/via FB being the governing body or voice of the sport.
  14. The motor has to follow the same form factor as existing motors and a single case for long and short motors makes sense, at least for the smaller producers. I don't think there's a case for a reversable motor, unless you can think of a reason why you'd want such a thing. Brushless motors can't be very dumb, they need the controller, the large flat chip, to do the sums to make it turn etc. You need additional wiring terminals to do anything via the ETU because 1, the ETU expects to deliver only voltage to the motor terminals, and 2, the motor expects to see voltage only to the motor terminals. You may find the motor controller already brakes the motor to control the back EMF at motor stop. Given the right message the motor can spin any way you want it to but you'd need some sort of interface to achieve it and the controller programming and it needs power.
  15. (Just my rule of thumb) anything above 28 RPS is at risk of PME so will need short stroking You can calculate your paper ROF and see if it is over 28 e.g. say the 22 TPA is 25000 RPM, at 9.9 V this is 25000 x 9.9/11.1 = ~22300k 22300 / 60 / 18 = ~21 RPS so should be very safe in terms of PME This did not take into account efficiency loss which will make the number smaller

I'm calling this a collectors piece as not only is it stunning and adorned with full Beretta Trademarks, but it's neither been skirmished nor had many rounds through it. It started life as a brand new Gen2 WE M92. Being a Gen2 this has better build quality, working decocker, adjustable hop (with "VSR style bucking) and full-auto capabilities. I then had the trademarks engraved and picked up a lovely set of Altamont "vintage" real wood grips. As per the photo, the original WE grips will come with this, a long with the WE box. Beauty aside, this would make a serviceable sidearm for skirmishing, if you're so inclined. Price includes PayPal fees and tracked postage. Please PM any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  17. In short - yes, I still use bipods. A lot. In long... Yes. I still use bipods, though I have removed them from certain guns and keep them on others (none are sitting idle, all my bipods are on a gun). I found that they were pointless for my VSRs, which are very lightweight rifles so it's no problem for me to hold them up for prolonged periods of time. Worst case I rest them against the ground and then slowly (so I don't get spotted) raise them if I need to shoot something. I don't run a bipod on my faux wood m14, since that's for Vietnam games and Harris bipods don't look the part, and I don't have one on my m14 socom, since that's designed around the idea of a recce rifle, which you want to be as light as possible while still being a longer distance rifle, as it's a rifle you're supposed to be doing recce with, which is a lot of movement over a lot of distance, and carrying unnecessary weight for that is bad; I know these things aren't important to airsoft, but muh immersion! Bipods aren't great for recce builds! However, I still run a bipod on both of my gas bolt actions (KJW m700s, one of which is in an m40a5 stock) as they're heavier anyway and if I'm lying in a spot, which happens a lot, I don't want to have to support the weight of that for long periods of time. I also run a bipod on my HPA m14, SR-25 and my MWS (the one set up as a mk12) for similar reasons. I use them all like sniper rifles and tend to find myself set up lying prone for long periods of time playing this way, since it's a great way to remain undetected. Also, my m249 has a bipod built in and I use that to deploy the gun to rain BBs on a position. It is heavy and will always be heavy, because LMG... Basically, anything I run like a sniper rifle, with the VSR and faux wood m14 as exceptions, I run a bipod on since I find myself going prone a lot and having to hold lines for long periods of time. I don't always deploy it as sometimes I can rest it on something else, like a log, stone or the ground if I'm cresting over the top of an incline. Considering most of the guns I use are already pretty heavy, in part because a lot of them are gas guns, a bipod isn't that much more added weight and is very useful for how I play.
  18. I'd be interested even though I don't thing I have anything that needs doing now I don't think. Postage would be easier if the client could disassemble the gun and just post the part they want engraving. The bit that makes me hesitate the most on getting anything engraved is knowing what happens if the engraver messes up and I'm left with a ruined slide/receiver. Unlikely for sure but good to know for transparency. Examples for work done would be good to see like we see from "custom gbb" on here. Good luck with this regardless. I'm sure there'll be plenty of interest.
  19. @Polyscript You have to understand that our hobby is hated by many people including some in authority and even government. Not wanting to sound like some of the gun nuts across the pond, but we are wary of anyone who might bring bad publicity to the ownership of replica firearms. Past incidents have already brought tighter controls and anything new would bring us closer to an outright ban like in Australia.
  20. OK, the constructive answer is: forget about buying anything. Find a local site, rent a gun - which will be a generic electric carbine like an M4 or G36 - and actually play. While you're there, ask about what guns, eye and face protection other people are using, and see if you can cadge a go with some other long guns and a gas pistol. If you enjoy yourself, stick with it and do it a few more times. Renting a few times will be cheaper than losing the money on some two-tone that you buy on an adrenaline high that quickly wears off - the classifieds here are full of regret purchases like that. If you're still enjoying the hobby after at least 3 games and 8 weeks at the same site, then you'll be in a position to buy non-two tones, and will have a far better idea of what questions to ask to get something that's likely to suit what you now know to be your preferred play style. Opening your own site is something to think about years down the line.

    What guns are needed?

@Cannonfodder @theSwede how is that homophobic? I just said you're riding each other. I never said anything about gay people, you're adding your own connotations to what I said.
  22. Having a good look at the legalities would be a good start. Even 'playing' around the house or garden isn't straight forward. Even ignoring the potential loss of brownie points if you damage anything in the house, if yoiu can been seen by neighbours, the public etc you stand the risk of getting a visit from plod for waving a gun around in public. You also need to look at PPE for you and anyone else in the house. Getting a BB in the face can and has caused loss of eyesight as well as loss of teeth. This is why you are not getting gun recomendations. You have lots of other things to considder, which people are trying to tell you. honestly you are best off going along to a site and playing a few games with their rental kit before starting to look at buying guns. For starters that will give you a chance to try a few and see what you like, it will also give you a grounding in the basic safety requirements. Yes airsoft guns are toys, but they are toys that can cause life changing injuries, range disciplin is vital. Listen to what folk are saying and considder the whole picture before running off to buy guns. Also if you don't want 2 toned guns you will need a defense , so play some games and get a UKARA. Everyone has a different idea of what are good guns, I love GBBRs and rarely use anything else, others will say they hate them because they limited ammo etc, loafs will say go hpa ( I hate hpa with a passion) read the threads on here, there are plenty of ones discussing different makes , platforms etc.

    What guns are needed?

Not sure if you were following but I wasn't getting any help. Each time I would reiterate that I would just like some advise on what guns can be recommended, I would be reminded about anything else but a gun recommendation.
  24. In fairness few dmrs will meaningfully outrange a good aeg. But sniping is a laugh if the site suits it. As far as a dmr goes, good hop nozzle and barrel are really the things. Heavy BBS too and consistentcy OBS a little more joulage for another 10m of range. Tightbore Vs normal won't do much for anything really do long as the barrel is straight smooth and clean.
