  1. Stick it on YT if you have a google account
  2. Has anyone had any experience ordering from these fellers? Only place that seems to stock the mags currently.

Yes; good service but the postage cost was painful!

  3. Is it generally okay to use ammo thats a couple years old or best to grab some new? Got quite a bit left over from previous games but don't really want it damaging kit just as I'm getting back into it.

Thanks for the info. I don't actually know what barrels they are, whatever come stock in the CM16 and Cyma m1a1 lol. Its a couple open bottles (with lids) that have been kept at the back of a cupboard.

I'll be guessing they're both standard barrels.
Just make sure no dirt is knocking around in the BB containers (and clean the barrels too, for that matter).

Others here may tell you you're running the risk of doom and disaster if you don't run Geoff's Super Precision BB's anyway, so with the caveat that that is actually safe / good advice, I'd say you'll be fine.

The only problems I've had are with 0.43g bio that had been open for over 2 years, and had started to craze. One kersploded inside a 2.3J sniper and I binned off the rest of them.

  4. Anyone heading to Spartan CQB on the 31st? Will be mine and my friends first game in over 2 years, hoping everything still works

Thats grand thanks for letting me know

  5. For sure, people always ask where I got my taste in music from and I had no idea until scrolling through some old posts on here that I realised.
  6. I still blame @AirsoftTedfor my taste in music that has meant I find myself dragging my friends to more Irish pubs than clubs, and that my spotify consists of the Dubliners, Clancy Brothers and John Edmond.
  7. Thanks for the info, appreciate it
  8. How much knowledge do you need to keep the rifle in good condition, is there much maintenance required? Looking on the PB website it says 395 fps, are a lot of people finding that it is infact lower?
  9. Holy shit balls its in stock, is £360 too much??? It seems way more than they were charging before but holy dick cheese I want this bad

still well below what some other places have been charging for them. Grab one, they are awesome

  10. If we fired streams of bb's in the garden I wouldnt be alive to type this to you
  11. Friends and myself used irons for 3+ years without an issue, both in CQB and large open areas. Only reason we really got optics was to help in the really dark areas of our local cqb. We've done some home made 'drills' (in quotes because they were more for cheap fun than to get more opscherater) with one very similar to the presidente one (going from google description) and didn't really have any issues with hitting a5 targets. But then I'll always advocate iron sights because I think they look very cool indeed
  12. Those who bought the S&T SMLE, how much did you pay? I remember seeing them on PB for around £280 originally, now they're £340 and some websites are asking in excess of £400.

      £450 from my local shop...

£299 from PB. I see they have gone up a bit which could be exchange rates.

  13. Exactly how I intend to use it. Cannot wait
  14. With how desperate I am for one I am actually quite tempted...
  15. Has anyone done historical games with Frontline Events? Looking at going to a couple with friends when I'm able to play again

Haven't personally but know people who have and they've all had good things to say. Their 'Nam games have piqued my interest though...

Same as JinxDuh , not personally been to one but have a very good friend who loves going to their events and and I’ve no worries about trusting his judgment .👍

  16. Wish I'd seen this earlier, would've had a go with my slightly outdated UKARA to see if I could get the SMLE from patrol base
  17. Ahhh between this, the SMLE and the Cyma galil I am going to be homeless
  18. Wish it was the week after, have an exam on the monday. Would like to attend a milsim event at some point
  19. Beautiful. Split between a VFC Fal (when it releases) and some pat-70 webbing or grabbing a cyma galil as my R4 and selling my kidney to get an m83 battle jacket.
  20. I'm glad I found out here and not on a much looked forward to game day. I will most likely try it again to be sure as I am quite easily pleased and my friends are all itching to go back, but at least now the shock wont be too great if it is still as disappointing as you found.
  21. How can you mention SADF kit and not post pics, heresy of the highest order
  22. Jesus that sucks to hear I absolutely loved Cribbs when I went with friends, and when the front of my RIF fell off (fronts not supposed to fall off) Dave was kind enough to take me into one of those huge man-cave bunker things and help fix it for me mid game. Like you said can't blame them for wanting to make up lack of revenue but running all those at once and closing that much of the site? Oh dear. Edit - Should point out that all those recommendations are based off of how the sites were in January 2020 which was sadly the last time I managed to play airsoft, and evidently the sites have changed a lot
  23. Spartan Woodland (lots of trees, some hills, decent enough and big site), black ops cribbs (Old army base, healthy mix of close-mid range stuff with the odd sight line if you've got a rif capable of slinging bbs far enough, black ops portishead (Woodland, nice site), Spartan CQB (Old college, really fun CQB albeit the games are usually a bit unimaginative. Had fun at every one of those sites, the only bug bear I remember is the break times at spartan being annoyingly long although I haven't been for a year so could've changed
  24. If they didnt release the FN Fal this year but did release a VFC Carl i would not mind a bit lol
  25. Nice loadout also that site looks absolutely beautiful to play at
