  1. I will say, I had doubts about its reliability, however, I did start thinking maybe that would......noooo mustn't start thinking that lol. Yep, the games sounds fun BUT in cheap springers like DX115 said to do it for. *edit* Very sorry about that bout of stupidity, thanks.
  2. The horrible thing is, I can't sense any sarcasm :,(
  3. http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/517/2-TONE-BB-GUNS/338/ELECTRIC-GUNS/3004/M4-PROJECT-Z-AEG 5-1 I have this and a G&G combat machine and this is twice the gun for 1/3 the price. I took it to a woodland game and was easily out ranging everything else. Range is 80-90meters out the box. I upgraded the hop up and it shoots 100M easily. I would recommend this just get a better battery and a smart charger. Ohhh sheeeeettt
  4. TM Springer Glock 26 or Galaxy g21 or Spring Beretta m9? Which one, do you think, would show more about airsoft to my parents? Also, anyone with experiance performance wise? Thanks for help so far, getting close :D

Tri shot shot gun. Pretty decent and under £40

My favourite is the G21 (as its modelled on the p38) and then the M9 due to looks. But I think, as Chock said, the G21 has the most reason behind it.

Out of those, I too would say g21, but a spring shotgun would be a good choice for a reasonably cheap springer

  5. After D-Day diorama, Iz'm attempting a Battle of Mogadishu diorama, the crash sight of Super 64 and the Humvee scene from Black hawk down.
  6. I'm the only one I know who has Winston Churchill, Montgomery, Douglas Bader and plane posters in my room. All a bunch of weirdos with their petty Manchester United posters and rap music lol. (The second line was sarcasm . ) - Reach for the sky theme tune. - Magnificent Seven - Leave no man behind (Black hawk down)
  7. In your opinion what is the best springer gun? (Below £40) As well as a reason to get it. I know you all said to save my money and that is why I said no to the l85. However, I want my mum to be able to see what an airsoft gun is and does. My only reasons that I can think of right now are to do with it helping me at cadets. Thanks all.

I see your point, but it's also not likely to be able to duke it out with a thick straw and a mouthful of BBs either... the reason it's semi automatic is that the spring is compressed by the trigger; really weak spring + heavy trigger pull = terrible accuracy and no power.

Yeah, but that's going to make his parents think: 'well there's no harm it this airsoft malarkey is there if that's what one of those Tokyo Marui Glocks that everyone bangs on about can do, you couldn't kill a fly with that thing!' Of course he doesn't need to tell them it's a completely different TM Glock everyone raves about :-)

  9. On to part 2 of that video lol. It looks great fun, relatively simple just painful money wise...
  10. The nearest one is Bristol for me, I'm gonna stick with trying it with a friend who may do it, he's undecided.
  11. The Normandy set they are using looks great.....yeahhh my wallet hates me....
  12. Can finally play the transformers arrivial to earth and black hawk down "Leave no man behind" on the piano Links to be posted soon.
  13. That's very true. These days the only social things are consoles and sports. Board games and such.....hmmmm lol.
  14. Aside from the bolt action stuff, right now I'm planning a Battle of Mogadishu (Black Hawk down and locally known as "Day of the rangers") diorama. Joined a modelling forum a while back and they have helped quite a bit. How am I supposed to do my English homework now you've shown me that video!! lol.
  15. It seems like quite about of fun! Might help me pass these next 2 years of chairsofting lol.
  16. I'd love to do re-enactment stuff to do with ww2/1. Seen lots of re-enactments and they are great!
  17. Great job who ever made it! It is amazing!
  18. I used to just go with airfix but Tamiya are a great make! I didn't know there were "ww2 games"?????? Scale has always been either 1:72 or 1:78. However i want to try a 1:13 world war 1 trench section at some point or a 1:13 Japanese spider hole. The kit stuff, I have no idea about. Some make up stuff from boots is great for the more "intricate" stuff aswell as different sizes of craft knifes. Anyway, for my ww1 diorama I have the sand. To make the sand into the terrain: (Before hand: 1. Make sure layers of newspaper are on the polystyrene to strengthen it.) 1.Put sand and glue and paint in a bbiiigggg bucket. 2. Mix everything while adding small amounts of water. 3. Use a tingy that you use when your cooking. The one that you use to scrape bowls out when you've finished making a cake lol. 4.Using ^ that! layer on the mixture where needed. 5. Bobs yer uncle Any criticism is welcomed!
  19. How badly did it break?
  20. Andy Mcnab Liam Scott series. However, I think those are for younger readers. Read lots of Chris Ryan books and every one was great! Really enjoyed "All hell let loose", "Meeting the enemy" , "Rifleman" and "Forgotten voices of the Great War" which was staggering. All bar Andy Mcnab and Chris Ryan ones are ww2/ww1 books.
  21. To people who have a spring l85: Where did you get it?

Your 13 right? It is still reasonable for your mother to keep you away from these things, but as we all said, wait a little longer. Springers get boring real fast because of all the manual work. Since I'm nearly 17 (2 weeks), my parents aren't giving a crap anymore and i've already spent upwards of £500 on airsoft.

sneak into town, get a stranger to buy a gun (18+ and two tone ofc (like buying booze underage) and then pay them. Run home hide it and never get caught. Guaranteed 100% not to work. Also I do not buy booze xD
