  1. Fans - 4010 5v - Amazon Switches - two position small - Amazon Fan mount - 3D Printed USB Cable - Poundland Powerbank - Poundland Powerbank goggle strap mount - 3D printed.

  3. Yep, I had one shit itself with an SHS hi-torque. Kept shutting down in semi auto with an error light blinking. Pile’o’shite that thing, like the rest of the Orion Gearbox. I see Cores are coming with X-ASRs now. I would avoid those.
  4. Be nice. New member and all that. 😜 Here are some reasonably priced rail sections in stock: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/gbase-keymod-9-slot-rail-section-for-urx-40-dark-earth
  5. Either way, it looks like a decent enough GB for upgrades though. Not heard any major issues with the CORE series, I would have one over an Edge any day.
  6. No, they don't from what I've seen. Different OEMs. Black shell, looks a lot like an E&C.
  7. The only thing I would change from the outset would be the stock motor, swapping it for an SHS/Rocket Hi-torque. I would leave everything else as-is, and give the barrel a good clean. And fucking around with springs without a chrono is a really bad idea.
  8. I'm not sure about that - the form-factor of Airsoft LiPos is different to most RC stuff - especially Buffer tube LiPos - their shape is generally different to anything I would stick in an RC Plane or Car, so for them to be rejects means that there is another use for them somewhere in the RC world, which I've not seen in my experience. I would not be surprised if they are simply produced on a line with lower quality/purity materials and QC measures though - most airsofters would never know what Internal resistance is when it comes to batteries, let alone try and measure it. Think my chargers have an IR function - Next time I charge my Airsoft LiPos, I'll have a look.
  9. You shouldn't keep a LiPo fully charged for more than a few days if you want to avoid puffing and capacity degradation in the longer term. (Source: My experience - last I checked, I own around 70 LiPo packs, 1S to 4S, for various forms of RC and Airsoft shenanigans). I only fully charge my packs the day (or even the morning) before I need them. As soon as I get them home, I storage charge them.
  10. Perhaps a simple line 'Buyer covers PayPal fees' in the listing could avoid any issues like this in future? I think the OP was out of order leaving negative feedback on a transaction that didn't happen - that's a really dick move.
  11. Apart from posting this in the Help and Advice section, I think £275 is more than a tad optimistic for a bottom-end Nuprol:
  12. Welcome to the forums. Nuprol do not make anything themselves, just throw their stickers on and add £15-20 for the privilege - that particular charger looks like it comes from the SkyRC stable and is the same as the Overlander VSR Charger. I don't know how good the Nuprol Manual is, but the Overlander version here might have some more info for you. I would suggest watching this to give you the background of LiPos, their use and charging. Ignore the fact it's for RC, airsoft LiPos work exactly the same: This covers the very basics of charging with an Overlander VSR:
  13. I heard that in Germany adding things such as torches makes it a Firearm and is then subject to licensing laws. I also thought that full auto is permitted at something like sub-0.5j as they are classed as toys (no F Stamp) - which is pretty useless for skirmishing.
  14. Needed to knock up a couple more goggle fan units and a simplified goggle-strap clip to mount a Poundland £1 powerbank. Total all-in cost, including the powerbanks ~£4 each. The earlier prototypes seem to work pretty well, but I need to stress-test over the summer when it's really hot and sweaty. Thinking of a dual-fan version with airflow guide vanes to direct the air over a wider area
  15. Potato Cam alert. How do people expect to sell stuff with just a single shitty picture. And £200 for an ARX-160 is pretty laughable as it's the Sportline model (Short barrel - Shiny plastic. RRP: £180). And they are a bit shit (Source: I owned a Proline version back in the day).
  16. A bit niche this one. Front wired, ugly battery box, no stock tube and general ICS 'funkiness' - so not everyone's cup of tea. I reckon around £170-180ish assuming you can find someone that likes it's...umm...'quirks'.
  17. Pfft.......Mr Thumb may be sporting these, but Instructor Earl is the real daddy;
  18. Still, could be worse. He could be into AKs with Buffer tubes and M4 stocks.....😜
  19. Damned right. Only masochistic weirdos like those contraptions....😜
  20. Looks like a ball-ache to get apart. Pesky Ambi controls with their associated cogs and tiny pieces....
  21. That's normal for most chargers. I have about 50-60 LiPo packs at the moment for my RC hobbies as well as Airsoft, they all get stored at 3.8v per cell with no noticeable ill effects.
