  1. Sounds like something like this is what you are after: https://www.robotshop.com/uk/low-voltage-cutoff-switch.html Might be a bit chonky to fit inside a gun though.
  2. Mk5 Thunderflash holder to go on the front of my chest rig. Velcro backed - it'll have a loop of shock cord to provide tension.
  3. Don't beat around the bush mate, say what you really feel.....😁
  4. That's the problem for me. I don't want to socialise. I don't want to hear some half-cut kiddies Airsoft 'war' story or be lectured on the why their gun/equipment/upgrade is 'am bestest eva' over a camp fire. I don't drink, so watching other people getting shitfaced doesn't appeal. And I would bet money that some cockwomble will be letting pyro off at some point in the early hours for shits and giggles. So for me it would be all about actually playing, which frankly is a bit shit on a good day at GZ. But if it's your thing - cool beans. Have a great time.
  5. Been using Blitz for some years as Z1 is local to me, they work well enough, priced right (no postage), and have improved a fair bit from the early batches of years past. The Bios work fine for me too. I used to like Excels (are they still around?) and found G&G and King Arms BB's to be decent too. Never had a problem with ASG Devil Blasters either. Just awaiting an order of Geoffs Tracer BB's for some CQB shenanigans on Sunday - not used them before TBH.
  6. TBH I don't think I'll ever play at GZ again. Nothing against the staff/management - I just don't like playing it as a venue anymore now I've sampled some of UCAP's offerings, along with the likes of Ironsight and Spec Ops Blox all within an hours drive.
  7. I'm sure you just go for the velcro patches....😜
  8. 3000 players at GZ? Yeh...nope. That is just going to be a shit show. I would rather a play a day with 30 honest, decent, objective-playing people with a decent scenario than 3000 half-pissed (and some half-stoned) folk lighting up anything that moves on the Somerley Estate. Quantity =/= Quality
  9. Just out of interest - what work was required to fit a RS stock?
  10. Same problem here - I'm not getting email notification when a PM comes through. Seems to be a recent issue, as PMs sent at the beginning of the month were coming through as emails.
  11. This advert is COMPLETED!

Used for less than 5 minutes. Bought to tame my KWA EVE-4, but in the end a Franken-Torque motor which suited the job better. Pretty much mint - the discolouring on the motor shaft is just High-Molybdenum grease. It's the fan-equipped version, purchased from AK2M4 a couple of weeks ago. Price includes PayPal fees and Postage.

    £24

  12. Can't disagree with anything you've said really - I was lucky to pick up a new CM16 SRS for my son for £150 last year, and that's the most I would ever part cash for a new one. I had to immediately bin off the ETU unit and replace it with a Perun ETU++ and add an SHS High-Torque, bringing the total cost to ~£220 which it still waay less than the £290 current retail. G&G's pricing structure is just crazy now. They are pricing themselves out of the market - and other manufacturers are capitalizing on that, even the big dogs like KWA with their new polymer shooters.
  13. TM USP Springer (non-hopup) - back in the days where you had to cut the order form out of Gun Mart, send a payable order and wait three weeks for delivery. Good times. When I started playing Airsoft, it was a Classic Army Tactical Carbine - at the time ('04ish) one of the better reasonably priced 'from the factory' metal-bodied guns (along with ICS MP5s). It was a bit shit by modern standards (and frankly, TM's at the time), but it got the job done even with the ridiculous stock.
  14. Makes me want one even more. It's all about the memes.
  15. The receiver extension doesn't need to be very long, as the rigidity in mounting the buffer tube comes from the tension provided by the tube's screw into the back of the Gearbox. The extension just keeps the buffer tube centred and straight. I have in the past cut down the receiver extension to 10-15mm to allow for certain stocks and buffer tubes to be fitted snug against the receiver. The pot metal is very soft and easy enough to cut through. I have been experimenting with drop stock designs (both straight and angled) for some time now, and they are useful in situations like yours.
  16. I would put money on it being a 3D printed add-on - probably with a cheap laser pointer on the inside if it functions at all. Infinity Ward artists designed a bunch of stuff for the 'new' Modern Warfare that would not fall foul of trademarks and trade-dress litigation (hence the moniker M13 for the gun), and this laser is one of those creative licenses - in this case roughly based on a Steiner DBAL-I2 unit This person's YouTube channel is about MW guns and 'real life' remakes of the reload animations. Makes sense that he has someone model and print the 'Tac Laser' from the game to spice up his video. Source:https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzXAJY CG renders of the 'hero' gun: Note, on both the YouTube video, the picture on his YT banner, and the render above - there seems to be no way to fit batteries without removing the laser - which IRL would suck for zero-repeatability.
  17. The OP came and went in one day back in January : So I don't think he's going to be checking-in after nearly 8 months.....🙄
  18. Good point - just tried to edit an old one - you can't. My future adverts with have... SOLD ...in bold size 72 text added to the advert body before marking them as complete. Hopefully that will get the message across.
  19. I think I'm going to add a date and edit the main body of my adverts in future to make it explicitly clear that the item has sold and no longer available. I've had quite a few messages about completed items.
  20. Is that a DEVGRU Noveske kit? Is it any different to the Dytac MWS offering?
  21. Literally had an airsoft shop owner telling me to do that once on a gun I bought from him - for the site he also ran. Zero effs given - as long as the number on the chrono said 349 or less, he was happy, no matter how you achieved it. You could have been firing marbles - as long as it was under 350fps he didn't care. Needless to say, this was over a decade ago, and the shop and site no longer exist. Good times though.
  22. And I'm just slow with my RSI-ridden hands.....😩
  23. A cheap (£18 on Patrolbase) NanoASR will protect the battery contacts, but doesn't have LiPo protection. The NanoHARD is a bit more expensive (£35 on patrolbase), but has a couple extra features and has battery protection. Both have debounce for microswitch triggers. A WarFET is a bit of a waste in a full-auto LMG. *edit - d'oh! was typing at the same time as Herr Hamster and Lozart above*
  24. Issues with G&G: - They keep jacking the prices up and no longer represent good value for money - The ETUs are wank and depending on what version you end up with, may need replacing the Mosfet unit (with a Perun ETU++) to use certain batteries. - Avoid the TopTechs with the pneumatic blowback - the gearbox casings are made of cheese. Otherwise, they work OK, but are not exceptional in any way. £400 will give you a lot of options, G&G would not be on my to-buy list TBH.
