  1. This just showed up on FB: Can't say I'm at all shocked. Seems like par for the course for the AI500.
  2. So I picked up a very cheap brand new ICS MP5 off these here forums - just because I've never owned an MP5 in the last 16 or so years I've been playing: (Needed a 2 minute solder job on the torch wiring and is now working lovely) Been buying bits of kit off AliExpress lately - namely a Spiritus 'Thing 2' clone for my cheapo Viper VX chest rig which arrived a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday a zipper top for the front rig pouch, a velcro admin pouch and a velcro vented pad. Gotta say, everything I've been ordering from AliExpress lately has been arriving in about 10 days, and the quality of the kit is more than good enough for LARPsoft or BBWarz.
  3. Oh dear - I was wrong. He wants £175 for his chest rig and has since re-listed it. I'll stick with my AliExpress knockoff thanks.
  4. I though it was quite interesting until the vocalist opened his mouth. Couldn't listen to much more after that - just not my cup of tea at all.
  5. Problem I find with Viper inserts is re-indexing magazines - I'm only speaking from M4 mag experience so YMMV, but it was such a ballache that I 3D printed insert to sit inside the elastic loops.
  6. I struggle to 'connect' with the really heavy stuff more and more as I get older. I've been listening to a lot of Chevelle at the moment, a very underrated band IMO.
  7. Well, if that's the all-in price for everything listed, that's a pretty good deal (under half retail price). I just think that the advert is worded poorly. I've asked the seller for clarification. Don't get me wrong - 90% of LARPsofters or BBWarz players would be happy enough with a Viper or AliExpress knockoffs for a fraction of the price, but some get a chubby at the thought of gucci real-steel kit and are willing to pay the cost, which is fair enough. If I had £90 burning a hole in my pocket to spunk on some kit (which I don't sadly 😭) - I would be tempted.
  8. Congratulations - this Advert has now shown up on Macks! With that in mind, could you clarify if: A) the £90 is the all-in price for everything pictured, or B) you are genuinely trying to sell each component at current retail prices, or C) the prices you've listed in the description are purely to highlight how much you paid in the first place to entice the prospective buyer? Ta Muchly
  9. Does the Pistol Grip include the base plate?
  10. Perhaps I was a tad harsh - but this isn't reddit - incorrect information needs to be stomped on quickly and firmly. And the subject has been covered ad nauseam - I couldn't be arsed to type out the same old bollocks about it. Next time I'll try to slightly nicer about it. 😉
  11. More info needed. Questions: - I'm assuming the gun you've got is one of the G&G TR16 308 derivatives? - If yes to the above, the two extra mags you ordered - were they G&G, or another manufacturer? - Have you inspected the inside of the magwell for any damage to the mag catch itself? Perhaps some pics would help.
  12. Patently incorrect. Perhaps you should do a bit of research on the topic. There's plenty of threads knocking around on these very forums about the variable of barrel length in relation to overall accuracy.
  13. If you are talking about a standard V3 Switch/shuttle assembly then no, I don't think so. The gearbox shell is not a standard V3 from what I can see around the switch area. A simple cheapo Gate Nano-ASR (which is micro switch compatible with it's debounce function baked in) will remove the electrical stress on the switch though - it *should* significantly improve the life of the unit. Problem is, by the time you've paid £17-20 for a Mosfet (and not botched the install), you are only a few quid away from a better class of gun overall (i.e. Double Eagle etc.). So - if I was buying a G36 for myself, I would opt for the Specna just for the better quality plastics and with the intention of stripping/lubing/shimming/mosfet etc from the outset. But for a first AEG? Hands down JG/CYMA IMHO - from reputable dealer than chronos their guns before dispatch.
  14. Interesting. I'm literally 10mins from the site - but not played it yet for airsoft (played paintball there though). It's on my 'to-do' list, but UCAP Valiant is my favourite at the moment and I rather play in the prison for a few quid extra and an hours drive. I ran a bone-stock Cyma AKS-74U at Ironsight a couple of years ago (subsequently sold it stupidly) - the newer ones with blue internals were brilliant for the money (£120 in old TG prices). Gave up on glasses years ago - paintball googles with a fan for the win - no fog even with me wearing prescription specs underneath.
  15. No mosfets in Specna G36s (OP was asking about the SA-G12 model) - just a microswitch which is not actually rated for the voltages/current that it will experience during Airsoft use.
  16. Specna G36s are (early pre-EFCS) ARES/S&T clones - they use microswitch triggers. They don't last a long as traditional trigger switches (although a debounce enabled Mosfet will help) but are easy enough to replace. From the sample of 1 I've had eyes on - the plastic on the Specna is much nicer than JG/CYMA, more 'polymer', less ABS feeling. And remove the blowback shuttle - they are made of cheese and will break quickly (same with the ARE and S&T guns) Very comprehensive review here G36s just don't get enough love these days - a shame really, they are the only non-M4 gun I really like in terms of ergonomics.
  17. I was told by @proffrink that google has been basically nuking all emails that the forums send out. Until that is fixed - you're not getting any emails from the forums. And don't try and change your email address in your account settings - you will never receive the verification email and will be locked out from the forums.
  18. Sounds like we've got a new Mr_No_Face here. Full of piss'n'vinegar and holier than thou opinions. I miss him and his insults towards older players. Good times.

Looking for a black M-LOK MVG Vertical grip. Legit Magpul or a good quality clone is fine. No painted or re-sprays - Factory Black only.

  20. Ouch. So only feasible for Distributors or big retail companies like Patrolbase - who had a turnover of £8.6m last year.
  21. Knew it. I know of two Imax B6 charger-related fires within a 5 mile radius of my house. One fire gutted a garage full of RC planes - the other an entire room of a house with all his RC cars with it. You were lucky.
  22. +1 for HobbyRC. Always had great service from them. I have a IDST D2 Mk2 which I like very much - but complete overkill for Airsoft batteries - I also use it for RC (Aircraft) packs so it justifies the expense for my needs. I would go SkyRC S65 if I didn't have an existing 12v DC Power supply, or the more feature-rich IDST Q6 Nano if I did. The SkyRC T100 is a basic, but compelling (for the price) option for dual-channel charging and worth considering @Pollynator_bravo2 What charger was it? Would love to find out.
  23. This advert is COMPLETED!

SOLD Bought these recently from a friend for use in my KWA gun, but I found they don't fit the magwell quite as well as KWA's own Mid-Caps (go figure) - hence selling on. Good condition - being sold as a pair (not individually) so the price is for both mags, and includes Postage and PayPal fees.

    £28

  24. In an era where G&G Raiders are £220 now (like - WTF, seriously G&G?!?) - this is still a pretty good deal for a full-metal 'long' rifle with reasonably well regarded internals. Not quite the bang-for-buck of the 904x series though.

Before I go balls deep and buy a stack of new ones, I thought I would check here to see if anyone had any they wanted rid of. I'm after KWA MS120 Midcaps. Black or the newer funky Ice blue ones are fine. Must be fully working, structurally sound and with the extended followers intact. Ta muchly.
