Looks alright, although I won't play there as there isn't a brain bucket on the market that will fit my massive noggin (helmets mandatory for 'elf and safety). Irony is - all the FB pictures have peeps wearing various cheapo repo lids, but I would wager none of them are in any way impact safety rated. Otherwise - it looks similar to the Bunker in Portsmouth.

If you are referring to the bit that sits on the motor shaft between the pinion and motor can, then yes, they are easy to transfer. It's getting the pinion off in the first place that can be the problem. You might need a pinion pulling tool if it's a press fit.

The Hera Arms gun is actually made by ICS, so you would be looking specifically for ICS grips if you want a drop-in fit. Why? Because ICS has some funky fitment standards and finding a non-ICS grip to fit without having to deal with dremelling/filing and potentially messing up the motor angle can be a real bitch** ICS parts can be sourced from Fire-Support - look for anything that would normally be fitted as 'stock' on their EBB models (Not CS4/CXP non-EBB models - they use slightly different geometries again) If in doubt, call Fire-Support about compatibility before ordering. There have been Hera Arms that popped-up in the classifieds that have had the stock/grip swapped out (note the poor fit of the G&G grip) **Source: I have 4 ICS M4 Models in my collection.

Metal M4 body with rear tabs?

Looks to me like an early JG/Golden Eagle. Might be DBoys though. -

Bit steep for a two-tone respray when you could get a brand new, unmolested gun for £40 more. -
Evolution coming to Socom Tactical

Fixed that for you. -
ToolkitRC are a bit hit and miss with their gear (particularly with cell voltage calibration) - but they have improved over the years. The unit is very cheap (£17 here) and miles ahead of the Airsoft-branded shite 'dumb' chargers peddled by some vendors - BUT - there are limitations - as mentioned the Max Charge Current is low so bigger batteries will take longer - and there are only four pre-set charge currents that can be selected (something like 0.5A, 1A, 2A and 2.5A) which means if you have a fairly common 1300-1500mAh battery, you will be charging it at only 1A so it will take a bit longer. It's also LiPo only - so NiMhs are out. If you can live with the above, it's probably worth a punt if you can get it for less than £20. The SkyRC65 may not be as 'cool' (i.e. no colour screen) but it's much better appointed in terms of features for £32.

A ‘Nerfed’ nerf by the looks of it. Doesn’t even shoot any real frickin lasers.

If I could make a suggestion - extend it all the way back into the butt-pad cavity so it butts up against the flat section at the back. It'll act as a stabiliser to help to reduce flex/wobble. Also gives you more battery/wiring space.

Lets not forget good old RAL8000. OP - you will struggle to get an exact match (especially if the Receiver is anodised rather than painted) Case in point - all of the tan parts on this gun are 'RAL8000'. Nearly every part is a different shade depending on metal grade, plastic type, and the lunar cycle by all accounts. Good luck.

OK...welcome to the forums. Firstly - this is an Airsoft forum - judging by the gun you have listed in your profile you may be mistaken in thinking that this is a forum for Airguns (it's not - try https://airgunforums.co.uk/) Secondly - there is a classifieds section to place wanted ads. Some Airsoft Chronos work with Airguns, some do not - good luck with that. Thirdly - the Chrono you specified is as old as dirt and there are much better units around if you look (I had a CB-625 and hated it). TTFN

It's G&G - so my best guess is 'fucking expensive'. Their product pricing is absolutely mental these days.

'Old' VFC weren't *that* bad. I had a HK416 that actually shot really well out of the box once upon a time (circa 2014). In a way I regret selling it because it looked great. (I was going for a Norwegian-inspired build at the time.) This was before they fitted their janky Ambi controls and shit mosfets to their guns mind you. I think their QA has taken quite a nose dive in more recent times.

Electronic Paintball guns have been using optical eyes for years (nearly 20 actually) to prevent chopping. The technology is well proven in greasy and dirty conditions, assuming it's been implemented right by G&G.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Had this little 8L Hyundai down my shed for a year or so to run a small nailer/2nd fix while I was cladding a garden cabin: It's really quiet in use - not fridge-quiet like some can be, but is not loud enough to be offensive when used in the house - my missus hasn't moaned about it anyway! I've got a table-mounted Sparmax regulator (same as what's fitted to their dedicated Airbrush Compressors) on the end of a 1.8m hose to the compressor - I was told by a friend that builds models that putting a regulator directly on the compressor reduces the effectiveness of it's moisture trap? I have no idea if that's true of not but I followed his advice and it makes pressure adjustment quicker/easier. I want to put some Tamiya AFVs together - along with the odd Gundam/Sci-fi kit as well. -
Are. They. Fuck. The likes of Eagle6 or Kingdom of Airsoft wouldn't exist is they were the 'best' guns out of the box. Hold on...are we being trolled here by the OP...?

Whilst not strictly Airsoft related - I got an Airbrush setup for my Birthday which I'll be using it to paint some of my spare RIFs. -

So much to unpack here. But I can't be arsed. This is an Airsoft forum - can we keep 'Left' and 'Right' politics out of it? -
Agreed. My back garden is technically just about within 50ft of the centre of a public highway, but completely out of sight of the public using said highway. In fact it would be impossible for anyone other than my direct neighbours either side from seeing me with an airsoft gun (and they are cool with it anyway) as my terraced house in the way of my garden and the highway. I checked the laws regarding this exact issue with my local RFD when I joined an Airgun club earlier this year as I was worried about the 50ft rule myself.
-
Sure about that?....not even a Nerf dart? The law is about endangering users of a public highway, pretty sure it doesn't stop you using an Airgun/RIF/Nerf Gun/Supersoaker/whatever - so long as you don't hurt, interrupt or endanger anyone in doing so. From the Home Office guide to Air Weapon Safety It is an offence to fire an air weapon without lawful authority or excuse within 50 feet (15 metres) of the centre of a public road in such a way as to cause a road user to be injured, interrupted or endangered.

Firstly, welcome to the Forums. P90 and speed reloads are words not normally featured positively in the same sentence. However - if I was in your situation I would likely be looking at Novritsch SSR90 pouches. Not tested them myself, but they are reasonably priced and probably worth a shot.

This just showed up on FB: Can't say I'm at all shocked. Seems like par for the course for the AI500.

So I picked up a very cheap brand new ICS MP5 off these here forums - just because I've never owned an MP5 in the last 16 or so years I've been playing: (Needed a 2 minute solder job on the torch wiring and is now working lovely) Been buying bits of kit off AliExpress lately - namely a Spiritus 'Thing 2' clone for my cheapo Viper VX chest rig which arrived a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday a zipper top for the front rig pouch, a velcro admin pouch and a velcro vented pad. Gotta say, everything I've been ordering from AliExpress lately has been arriving in about 10 days, and the quality of the kit is more than good enough for LARPsoft or BBWarz. -

Oh dear - I was wrong. He wants £175 for his chest rig and has since re-listed it. I'll stick with my AliExpress knockoff thanks.
