SOLD I have listed this gun as boneyard because it's over 10 years old, not been serviced in the last 6 years, and not been used for the last 3, so it could really do with a tear-down, inspection and re-grease. It has mainly used as a backup/loaner. To be clear - this is an all-plastic gun (receiver & rail) that's built like a tank and is heavier than a lot of metal guns (looking at you Specna). The polymer used is better than any G&G and only really rivaled by KWA's latest KO offerings. It is functional, and was last chrono'd at ~325FPS. The good: - Structurally sound - OEM'd by Lonex, so Lonex/Ultimate branded internals - Lonex Metal Hop unit & Steel barrel The not so good: - The gun's original wiring made it impossible to remove the GB without de-pinning the Tamiya connectors, so it was re-routed down the buffer tube (there was a recoil version of this gun so the wires were routed on the underside of the buffer tube), however a channel had to be dremeled inside the receiver for said wires. It does not affect the integrity in any way and cannot be seen from the outside. - The steel parts have very light surface corrosion - nothing a bit of wire wool and oil wouldn't fix - There is a detachable rail missing on one side (screws are still there). I'll try and find it before sending, but no guarantees. - The gun was originally EBB with a moving mock bolt - but the shuttle connecting the piston to the mock bolt was made of cheese so self-destructed after the few hundred rounds (later versions of the gun has steel shuttles and BO sold them as upgrades). The mock bolt still functions with charging handle and can still be locked back with the bolt release. - Meh Motor - works out roughly 28TPA so slow on a 7.4v LiPo but snappy enough on 11.1v. Caveat Emptor/Sold as seen.

SOLD I have here a 100% complete Specna (sort of) Edge - some assembly required - all parts to complete are included. When I say 'Sort of' Edge - it's a Specna Edge metal body, rail, outer/inner barrel, hop unit etc. but the caveat is that the pile-o-shite Orion gearbox was sacked off and replaced with a complete E&C gearbox, with a couple of component swaps (nozzle/piston/piston head/spring/spring guide). Stock/Grip/Motor are all out of my spares box and are not Specna in Origin. Everything is structurally sound - no cracks, deep scratches or stripped threads from what I can see. The gun has been painted by me - turns out that Specna's 'Nano-bollocks' paint that they use for their receivers is nano-thin and susceptible to destroying itself in a slightly humid conditions - like being in the same room as a tumble-dryer. I had to strip back a lot of the original paint (which wasn't hard as a Sharpie leaves a thicker finish) so I used the gun to dick around with my new airbrush. It's had a couple of coats of paint, plus some ultra-matte varnish on top, but it's not the most hard-wearing finish (there's a few little marks already) so I would recommend attacking it with some Halfords Matte Lacquer if you want to keep that 'wannabe Geartech/Negative Airsoft but nowhere near as good' paint job I've applied. Again - all components to reassemble and produce a fully-functioning gun are here. Or don't reassemble and split the parts for something else. Up to you, I don't care. I've never liked the gun so I'll be glad to make some room getting rid of it. Caveat Emptor/Sold as seen.

  3. But what would happen if you bought a 20Kg bag and found they were wank? Surely you would buy a small pack to test first before going balls-deep bulk buying? - otherwise you could be left with 19.95kg of useless plastic.
  4. A decent site will ensure that the HPA inline regulators are locked down with a cable tie, and will conduct spot-checks during the course of the game day. If your site is not doing that - then find one that does. Again, I have seen real-steel sights and genuine Surefires get smashed by legit, chrono-checked 1j AEGs, so your argument about equipment doesn't hold much weight. You don't like HPA guns - we get it. But they are very much here to stay so you will have to learn to live with them if you want to continue with this hobby.
  5. Well, most of the HPA players I've come across have been no problem at all - they have enough self awareness to recognise that they will be more heavily scrutinised purely on their choice of power source for their plastic people shooter. I've probably had more problems with DSG and Super-duper Hi-speed AEG build owners over the years than HPA. As @Skara so eloquently put it - it's the player, not the gun. And I've seen very expensive gear get (surprisingly) smashed up with 1j guns (well before HPA became a 'thing') and if people don't wear full-face protection, then I don't have much sympathy for injuries that are clearly avoidable. P.S. I don't own anything HPA or remotely 'Hi-Speed'.
  6. The case is from a Well G17. The gun itself looks like a WE G18C. I wouldn't get too hung up on matching parts codes if the gun functions OK.
  7. Now running this gun with a Gate Titan and 16TPA SHS motor and it's very happy with this setup. The titan was a drop-in fit with no problems at all (once I've played with the settings) and it obviously gets rid of that Heath Robinson/Rube Goldberg proprietary cut-off lever and trigger switch. I would go as far as saying that a Titan is pretty much a required upgrade - it solves most of the niggles that I had with the gun. It's a shame that they don't offer a pre-installed Titan Basic version for £50-60 more - it would be a far more compelling option than the £300(!) Combat Machines being peddled these days. Then there's these coming next month - I am very tempted indeed:
  8. Yeh - you won't be replacing that - as @Nick G says, the geometry of the front of the receiver is not standard M4 spec. It looks proprietary to that specific Classic Army model (CAECR-5) Is this bit moulded into the upper receiver? I'm guessing it is - and if that's the case the only rail that will fit that receiver is another Classic Army rail of the same design. If the gun is good otherwise - run it until it dies. If you really don't like it, sell it and buy something with a rail that you do like.
  9. Firstly - welcome. ASG do not produce the M15 series themselves - they have various OEM manufacturers including Cyma, G&P, Classic Army and Lonex It's unlikely you will find something that will bolt-up onto the existing barrel nut, so you will have to remove it and replace with the one supplied with the rail of your choice. For the most part the barrel threads are 'standard' - however this is airsoft so expect outliers and shitty tolerances. Amazon sell various rails (now that Aliexpress have had a recent crackdown on Airsoft stuff) in keymod and M-lok varieties. They should - in theory - fit without too much trouble, just add a bit of grease on the threads to prevent galling and seizing.
  10. I normally use XT/Rocket/SHS and the like for internals bought saw these were a decent price so thought I would give them a go. Arrived next day from Bullseye Country Sport. Not used anything from FPS-Softair before, but the parts are apparently 'made in Italy'. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality, but who knows about their longevity.
  11. Some pitting in the metal - managed to sand out a lot of it, but it will never be a beauty queen now. The Specna paint on mine (again - early batch so may have changed) was so thin that even 0000 Grade wire wool took it off easily. So - it's had a base coat of a rather fetching shade of German WW2 'Hell grau' - and will be my first attempt at dicking around with an airbrush much like the stuff that Negative Airsoft does. Just not as good obviously.
  12. My son's Specna is in bits at the moment (don't leave it anywhere humid like I did - a week near a tumble drier has destroyed the previously mint paintwork with nasty white surface corrosion) otherwise I would check. From what I can remember - EPMs worked fine, MAG/King Arms style plastic Mid caps were fine. Can't remember whether my KWA MS120s work (they are better value than EPMs IMO for similar performance). Lonex flash mags worked fine. I think ICS Plastic (T-Mag) Hi-Caps worked ok too. YMMV though - mine is an early batch version circa 2018 (that was fucked with QA issues) - there might have been changes in production over the years
  13. No. Whilst you will get a few more features on a full Perun Hybrid, you will have to open up the gearbox to fit it and the V3 version involves gluing bits to the selector plate. Easy enough if you've worked on a few guns and are happy to take it apart, but unless you have a spare gun or two (in case you cock up), I would suggest you leave well alone. The ETU++ is simply plug and play - and will give you 90% of the features of the Hybrid in a smaller package than the stock G&G ETU. You won't gain much switching out the hop units/rubber/nub/barrel on the higher-end G&G guns, they are pretty decent stock.
  14. A Perun ETU++ is pretty much an essential upgrade to an G&G ETU-equipped gun. Fitted one almost immediately after getting a G&G CM16 SRS for my son, really good bit of kit. Once the ETU trigger unit switches die, I'll replace the whole lot with a Perun Hybrid or whatever equivalent available at that time.
  15. Sure looks like it. Nice gun, but over-priced - (£645 for the gun + 3 mags from Fire-Support), plus the Magpul bits (£30 for the Vert grip, £60 for the MOE stock, £30 for the MOE Grip - assuming all legit Magpul) plus flash hider (~£30) comes to around £795 give or take a fiver. I would guess that someone might be willing to pay the asking price though if the gun and/or mags are out of stock - which seems to be pretty common.
  16. Decided to upgrade most of my AEGs with some kind of ETU after years of resisting. So 2x Perun Hybrids (one's already installed): And just ordered a Gate Titan Advanced (thanks KWA and the lack of compatibility with anything else) courtesy of the 'Santa's sack' sale at JD Airsoft. Oh, and a box of KWA MS120 Mid Caps.
  17. That's bullshit, even the short HK416C rail (from all manufacturers) is different in profile at the front Some of what he's selling are just two-tone re-sprays - namely the P90 (screws are still blue), the MP5 and the AK. Real dick move to not even mention that in the descriptions.
  18. Went on the Z1 forums for the first time in ages. Came across this little gem: https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rifles-smg-s-for-sale/electric-rifles-smg-s/3295006-specna-arms-sa-h03 Just some minor issues: - No markings - could be a respray but could also be a generic 416 lower - Wrong grip and stock - ASAP sling plate, without the loop for the sling - Missing mock Bolt release - Missing Dust Cover - Missing mock Bolt - Missing gas block - Oh...and missing ENTIRE FRONT HALF OF THE RAIL! Notice none of the camera angles show that it's been cut. All yours for £180. Nice
  19. I believe that 11 holes is correct: However the seam line is not judging by Noveske's website:
  20. The upper and lower use different polymers - the lower being stiffer/harder, the upper is slightly softer and has a touch more flex. There is a slight difference in colouring and finish too if you look closely. Both are excellent quality - the best I've seen on an out of the box Airsoft gun The bolt stop has the mag well protrusion, so if you have the appropriate KWA GB with the Cutoff electronics and associated MS120C Mags, you should be able to add the bolt stop feature onto the gun. Luke *sort of* approves (I replaced my piston with no ill effects to date but I will keep an eye on it)
  21. The only thing I don't like about Cyma AKs (having owned a CM.045) is the pot metal used in the folding stock hinge/rear trunnion. Really decent gun otherwise.
  22. Looks like the same fare spat out of the same OEM factory as Specna, Evolution and Lancer Tactical.
  23. You can stick one in a counterweight pouch and velcro to the back of the helmet, then run the airflow tubes internally (through the bump helmet vent holes) to the goggles. *Edit* Something like this:
