  1. Very nice @miserydrift Is this bit clamped to the trigger? I don't see any screw holes around the board. Waaait a minute - are they using a hall effect sensor now? Is that a magnet on the trigger?
  2. That looks pretty cool. Nice one.
  3. It'll be like an itch you can't quite scratch until you've upgraded everything...you know it...😜 *Edit* @Adolf Hamster Is that your JG AK?
  4. Looks like it's got quite a bit of new functionality. If the price is right - a Gate Titan killer perhaps? and without the paid-for Firmware 'Upgrades' that Gate like to charge you for. Very interesting. Lucky bugger....😜
  5. Interesting. I can't find any pics of this new one, so if you could post some later it would be much appreciated.
  6. What's with the 'Hybrid'? Is it a new version of the Mosfet? If so, got any pics of the unit itself?
  7. The balance logic is better for starters. In the interest of fairness - there are newer versions of the B6 too, notably the new (unreleased) B6EVO, however it's generally the original version (and more likely the numerous cheap knockoff clones) that seem to be readily available on the likes of Amazon and eBay. Right now, you can buy an 'Imax' B6AC for £25 to £27 on eBay. The word 'genuine' appears nowhere in the listings and most are inferior clones. A genuine unit, from a reputable UK retailer, can cost over £40 for the AC version. Or you can pay £32 for the S65. I'll take the S65 thanks. 😉
  8. Oh FFS no. SkyRC S65 - better for less money. On another note - I feel slightly triggered by your username @ReySkywalker. Surely it should be Rey Palpatine...😜
  9. Forgot to mention, you can soak the area in penetrating oil and leave it for a few hours. I'm not talking about standard WD40 (although there's WD40 branded penetrating oil), you can get the stuff from Halfords.
  10. Have you made sure there's no grub screws under the sling loop? Sometimes one gets hidden under it by the manufacturer. If so, you'll need to punch out the sling loop which can be tricky with some pins because they have been riveted/flattened on the end. Edit #1: It doesn't appear that there is one on G&Ps - but it's still worth checking. I would use a chunky flat punch and start gently tapping the FSP forward from the bayonet lug and the bands around the barrel. https://www.toolstation.com/pin-punch-set/p44554?store=PH&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googleshoppingfeed&gclid=CjwKCAiA4rGCBhAQEiwAelVti2fsrtdivj4qHJH5tQFm7VqwoJlva-Bezmg1hTFpJwTn9DbAOg0tRhoC2k4QAvD_BwE Edit #2: On real steel ARs, they just use a soft faced mallet to knock the thing off.
  11. Not just on Z1: Then, there's this: £240 gun new - check £40 Nuprol Tracer - check a crappy extra mag - Priceless and some left over meh (at best) BBs. And a couple of batteries So the guy effectively wants damned near full retail back. Could of at least cleaned the gun before the photos.
  12. I would do that, but unfortunately I have to take two teenage sons with young legs and lots of energy - means I have to play the whole day. Quite handy though - I send them on suicide missions and first into buildings. Saves me getting shot too much.
  13. I run a metal gun in the morning and a lightweight plastic gun in the afternoon because...well...I'm lazy (seriously).
  14. God, I hope this situation settles down soon. This hurts UK Consumers, UK Companies as well as overseas suppliers. It's easy to just blame Brexit, but it's the UK government's own rules that are causing much of this, with stuff like the VAT registration requirements for overseas companies (EU or not).
  15. That's complacency for you. You don't ever think there will be a fire, especially when charging batteries for your toys. He said he was charging in fire-proof LiPo bags. You can be lulled into a false sense of security by cheap so called 'safety' products. In his instance though, none of the cans when up. He was lucky. He made a follow-up video 12 months later with his new room and collection. I believe he now charges on a concrete garage floor using a Bat-Safe LiPo box. I should also point out (separate to the scenario in the video) that many people do not have the luxury of out-buildings, garages, or garden workshops to keep their charging LiPos well away from their primary living areas. I'm sure that many batteries get charged on kitchen worktops, dining room tables, or even in bedrooms. Especially for those living in flats or apartments.
  16. Funnily enough I've got an HPI Sprint 2 down my shed (I keep meaning to sell it). Along with an HPI E-Firestorm. I know of two people within a 5 mile radius of my house that lost their entire RC collections (one Aircraft, the other Cars) due to a LiPo charging fires. Sobering stuff. One video'd the aftermath:
  17. Daves Custom Airsoft - he must have big windows because he can see ‘em coming a mile off. If he can upsell a Cyma to 600 notes, fair play. I bet he could also sell ice to Eskimos. *edit* Just noticed the invoice! Dave still had the balls to charge a tenner postage on a 600 quid gun, and the guy fucking paid it! Most companies have free postage over a certain amount, but not old Dave-o. What a legend.
  18. Wait?!....you can get box mags for L1A1s?? That would be awesome.....😜 I'm thinking a rather fetching shade of cerise for the furniture....or maybe fuchsia. I'm also quite partial to Chartreuse too.....it would look wonnnnnnnnnderful on there darlings.....and I'll scent the gearbox grease with Jean Paul Gauliter. 😘
  19. You can't really go wrong with WAS kit. Everything I've owned has been excellent.
