  1. How much would a KSC USP.45 with two magazines sell for? Suggestions?

£110, plastic slide version is less desirable.

    3. DEDSEC

      DEDSEC

Think it's actually a RA-Tech slide. Also has a ACTION USP.45 steel spring guide and recoil & hammer spring.

    4. DEDSEC

      DEDSEC

I take that back, just put a magnet that only conducts to steel on it and nothing. Most likely aluminium alloy.

  2. THE LMG IS UNDER MY POSSESSION..! I believe I'm a little too excited though, like a big 38 year old on Christmas. The misses won't be amused...

People always complain that M249's are too heavy yet I've just held it for 35 minutes straight test firing it and it's no heavier than an L85 is?

    3. TacMaster

People are more used to light airsoft guns....20 minutes running about with the real deal and they'd be panting :D

Try carrying an L85A1 with 9 magazines loaded with 5.56x45 rounds, a backpack with cleaning gear, medical gear, survival gear, in 40+°c.. For 20 hours. ;)

  3. In dire need of an LMG for an upcoming game. Anyone got one they'd swap for one or more guns?

  4. ARES Honey Badger.. worth getting?

Ares internals are known to be bad, but I've heard they're a bit better in this gun. Their plastic is sh*t though from what I have heard. Very cheap feel unlike good quality nylon fibre reinforced polymer stuff.

    3. DEDSEC

They seem quite pricey, just shy of £300. Not the kind of money I'd spend on some one night stand rifle. Thanks guys.

Most reports so far seem to be "my mate bought one and it's sh*t".

  5. Rather pleased with the fields photographer for my pretty awesomely timed now profile picture!

But it ain't about how hard you're hit, it is about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

I think it's combined with a Halo 5: Guardians commercial, aswell. Unfortunately makes the quote even more butchered.

Hmmmm - is it not also the ability to OUT the opponent:

outmanoeuvre, outhink, outwit, outgun, flush 'em out etc......

yes chucking loads of advancing troops works at a cost, but often the wiser tactical side can win - well that is the theory part, putting it into practice is not so straight forward we know

  7. Quick question, how would you lock (not permanently) a version 2 gearbox to semi auto only for a DMR role?

I've also heard of airsofters creating DMRs where you cannot physically move the selector onto auto, sometimes with a welded part or part of a bolt stuck through the receiver'

  8. Don't suppose there's a way to convert a Scar-L into a Scar-H? The upper receiver is moderately similar on both models, so does anyone know of a kit of some sort?

  13. Potentially a stupid question but would this gas, (http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/batteries-bbs-gas-chronographs-c5/gas-co2-c65/we-we-nuprol-3-0-gas-p3449) be suitable for a Tokyo Marui P226?

Might as well buy one of those big barbeque red barrels. Would last awhile huh?

    3. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

I not got gas - well CO2 but Monty & others have got green/propane so they can tell ya the exact adapters you will need and suggest size of bottle to start off with before you buy a great big tank of it

  14. Was actually really excited for the release of The Crew until watching closed beta gameplay. They made it seem in trailers and advertisements that every little aspect of your vehicle can be changed down to the bolts on your wheels. Yet you can only custom use bumpers, hoods, spoilers, and paint.

Interesting. Might be a project for me. Money is very limited so when I get some cash on payday I'll maybe start a M700 project?

The barrel I feel will be the hardest part. A 6.10mm though that's awful! Haha defiantly the first thing I'll try and change.

If you can get access to a machine shop then you're set, it's really easy to take the rifle apart and replace stuff.

That's where I'll struggle. I work in an office and live in the countryside so unless the office I work at is secretly MI5 with an underground lab with a metalwork room, I ain't getting no machines.

Then again I could always pop into my sons high school? They have a whole wood and metalwork department?

  17. Another quick gun question for a friend. ASG M60 or King Arms M8? Weight and size isn't an issue for him as he was in my platoon back in the army and so he is used to a weighty weapon.

Changing a spring is pretty straightforward but I'd take it to a store and 1) ask them to chrono it and 2) get them to change the spring if it needs it. Where did you get it from?

  22. So browsing though 7.4v LiPo batteries today and noticed they all say (12c), (15c) or (20c) etc. I understand it's how many cells it has but what does it effect? It's power? It's charge life?

I have bought some of these:

      ebay item: 131212457347

yes needs a converter but size is perfect fit for some guns - max oomph for a compact size - use an adpter lead atm but will resolder some tamiya on there eventually - just size shape is good for me

    4. Sitting Duck

      2 cell = 3 wires for 7.4v lipo

      3 cell = 4 wires for 11.1v or 9.9v life batteries

  23. Will an M120 spring will give around 340 to 350FPS? Also, what kind of motor will be required to effectively use the gun at that FPS? (Specific brands please I already know I will need a high torque)

      Righto. What motor?

    3. Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies

      Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies

M120 should give up to 400FPS depending on the air seal quality. No point in purposefully going with a weak motor. Go for the SHS High torque or ZCI high torque motor. AK2M4 are a good shop to buy the ZCI motor from and you can find SHS high torques anywhere. Both are reliable and fantastic bang for buck, both are the better motors around.

  24. Does anyone have a Holographic sight that would swap/ trade for an Aimpoint Comp M2?

  25. So I need a belt of 5.56x45 NATO round or .223 rounds for a M249 SAW MK2. I've seen plenty of dummy belts with cheesy looking metal bullets, but I'm more after real rounds that have been emptied. Can anyone help me in finding a belt of approximately 10 to 20 real 5.56x45 or .223 rounds without a £30+ price tag?
