  1. Welcome to the forums. All I will say is if you ask best gun for little money, pretty much the only answer you will get is G&G cm16. Polymer body is of good quality, shoots better than a lot of guns, and I have run mine for like 6 months now and have done no maintenance and yet it still out shoots many guns. Highly recommended!
  2. Hmm, not that creative, but I wouldn't say no to an RS fn scar mk17 converted to airsoft with a Fusion engine. And an elcan specterdr
  3. Yes, would live to see that. Nice gun mate, and a very interesting and great idea!
  4. I don't own an ICS etc, but why not take it back. If it has warranty, and you have had serious problems, don't lose sleep (you might not be in the first place) and just take it back. That's what a warranty is for...
  5. ah f**k, 1 hour to do 2 graphs, most difficult graphs I have done on climate by far. sunday night doing all the homework I had 2 weeks previously to do. good times :( I should have learnt by now

  6. Are you sure? I think it is. I have seen videos where they remove it
  7. Yep, also more customisable externals wise. I have one, you won't be disappointed with it. Awesome guns I think and so do most here
  8. Welcome to the forums and airsoft mate
  9. Fps doesn't equal range. In fact fps doesn't mean a lot tbh. Don't think higher fps =better Imo I would get the G&G, they are solid as a rock
  10. I'd it?! Oh lol, I thought they were bringing out a GBBR hk417 My bad, sorry lol
  11. I would wit for the tm to come instead of vfc. They are known as far can tell to have bad gbb guns.
  12. nfjxkjch Hxjshcudjdjdhxu I was going to bid o that, of course it wouldn't let me log in. Lucky you
  13. You know lanner tactical sell bolt pull or what we ar15s designed for this country. If you must have a gun that's shoots 5.56 you can get them (pretty sure everyone knows this) However the good thing I think k is the background vetting needed and all the tests to make sure your not a hooligan, doesn't mean you can't just walk into a shop and buy an ak-47 I don't know that much about this topic. However did pick a bit up reading and with dad getting his shotgun license etc it seems obvious people are very careful about giving guns out
  14. yeah, rules changed. For me, we have to have a lockable one otherwise they won't post, now its a PLC and not owned by the government, I reckon they are worried about claims so we had to get a lock for ours. IDK, but that may be the reason why hesnot posting half your stuff, they seem a bit eratic
  15. I would love to meet mark IRL. he owes my mate a warranty. That would be a fun time...
  16. wait, is it a TM gearbox? or fit's a marui, but is aftermarket if you like? I can see what you mean in terms of buying another one to take apart, but unless it was a cracker of a deal I would just take apart my current one and upgrade it, I don't think it can be that much better than a G&G (correct me if I'm wrong) I thought the marui magical dust was the hop? Anyway, if you got a great deal sure go for it
  17. I was thinking about that the other day. I reckon we should get payed, because we practically advertise it for them...
  18. yep, not illegal in the slightest. A lot of people like to get into it by buying a sniper, because that's whats fun on video games. However, as said before a sniper rifle is weird with airsoft, if you want a good one you need to upgrade stuff no matter what. Normally everyone would recommend an AEG me included, but I can see how they are fun. However to get them to a decent level, a lot of money is needed for upgrades. TBH, it could be dangerous, but I have played with a mate at 500 fps sniper in <20 metres and it was ok for me however if you know its that hot, you definitely get scared, I would never do it again imo. Even then many things can go wrong, and it could potentially cause problems. Overall, I would tell him to think long and hard about his decision. AEG's need little to no maintenance and are very effective. Maybe you should try some out before hand to see if he likes it or not. IF he needs a sniper, maybe look at the alternative which could be the Tokyo marui VSR10. Basically, this is THE SNIPER to have for anyone wanting to get a great sniper rifle OOTB, however it shoots at 300-330 fps and so normally people upgrade them, spending 500+ quid on upgrades for it so it shoots 500 fps and is very accurate. However it is good ootb, and if you are worried people could get hurt it is less powerful, but for backyard shooting thats fine... hope this helps
  19. I think you mean it says it's for marui, which also fits most others. Many people make it around the tm and so it should fit...
  20. What about with the nimh? Does it do the same with it now?
  21. Idk but have you checked the fuse? If it doesn't fire that could be were your short is. Then again idk
  22. Exactly. So for me, in terms of maintenance I wouldn't do a great job. Generally noobs (like me) fine it easier at the start with an aeg. I do no maintenance on it and it runs perfectly. But if you are experienced or really do want to then go for it. As for milsim newer players don't generally do it but if you like that kind of thing with real cap rounds and the kick of a GBBR then sure go for it.
  23. You also need to factor in a battery and charger. Generally, a 7.4 lipo is great, and an imaxb6 or accucel 6 digital is good, they are the same tbh you have to be careful about getting a fake... The general consensus is that you shouldn't have a GBBR for your first gun. A lot of maintenance and tuning is needed and even then you have to completely change your playstyle because you are very limited on rounds. They carry 30ish rounds in a mag, something you have to get used to. G&G combat machines are great, and the plastic is in no way cheap material. G&P are very nice and the metal is good quality, so take your pick
