  1. good point, thanks, I think the corsair m65 will do me right
  2. oh ok, so what kind of mouse would have a decent tracker. I am aware optical is better than laser however there are very good laser mice out there... what would you recommend.
  3. yeah, in the end i bought a hdmi 2.0, seems to look good so should be good for now. I think for the moment I will keep my mouse and trawl around on ebay to see if I can get a good deal... how useful is DPI? my current mouse has 4 settings that go up to 2.5k dpi, is that any good?
  4. ok, while on this subject what are people's opinions on mice in general. I am looking at some now but wondering whether to stick with my eblue or get a much nicer one. how much difference will it make? Also, anyone know good hdmi cables that can take 120hz+
  5. ok, so your reckon a 970 would do me much better?
  6. good place to start , my most common flaw is dreaming...
  7. yeah thats a worry but also something of a plus, means the price will drop. Its £470 atm but i highly doubt next year it will be the crappiest card on the planet. What I mean is it will be alright for even then I reckon, considering it's two r9 290x's bodged together and is quite smooth.
  8. what are peoples thoughts on the xfx r9 295x2? IK it's overkill atm but it means when i move over to 4k I won't have to upgrade to 2way SLI or get a new gpu
  9. would a PC connect to a 42" sony bravia? it says on the instructions that it has hdmi compat but would it work, or would there be an error? BF4 on a 42inch would be interesting with PC

yeah, I know the setup I could do, it would be neat but it would only be while I save up for a nice monitor/ get the pc sooner

If you want something special for a screen, get a 120hz/144hz monitor. They're generally meant for 3d but while running 2d if you can get a high enough fps then image movement is much smoother then 60hz. Mine's a benq 24", think they're around the £220 mark.

yeah I would be looking at a very nice w=one but as my build is taking all of my money I will just run with the sony 42"

  10. yeah could you maybe take a few more pics? like maybe the whole rifle, and also the magwell, and have you taken it apart? if you do then maybe some of the internals may have a brand name on it
  11. from the gun? that's quite a nice feature if it is, and that will mean that probably something electrical has gone if an electrical beep sounds normally. If when you charge then your battery is dead, but on the previous post you said it wasn't your battery so it is probably the first one
  12. well if you are willing to buy a metal slide you could get a full metal tm hicapa for £200 on elite shooting centre, but I recommend you not to do that and just stick to standard because those pistols are only meant for IPSC and not skirmishing. but suicide barrel roll has it all correct
  13. yeah ^ mate, will do and only 1 gpu. this build is going to happen hopefully, but it may happen after christmas, depends. I will probably go with that case and keep normal fans, I can't really afford to just chuck the fans out and get the af120s for looks atm, I mean a 15 yr old building this setup is ridiculous. The bit that scares me is the fact that a year from now and I doubt it will be worth £500 lol....
  14. well I will say full metal isn't always as good as it sounds. It will be a hard gun to run in the cold in most cases, and they won't be as good as a TM series plastic version. However if you just want weight and don't care if it can shoot as good as an AEG (TM can) then go for maybe a WE g17, make sure its the latest gen? TM maybe plastic and quite light but are very good quality, and one out of their range is fine although with the 5-7 and glock 17 you will probably want to use 144a as the slide will break with green gas / propane over time due to it being plastic, however with 144a it should last for years without a problem. I recommend the 5-7 due to the kick etc, a few people have them on here and they all seem to say extremely good things about it
  15. N.B for reference, why not use the quick questions thread? I would suggest getting a plastic bag like thing that has a clickable close, like a kitchen bag. I normally get some onsite with the BB's I purchase, and they cost pennies. Then why not put them in one of the larger side pockets on the side, I have a rig like that. Yeah bottles make way too much noise, bags are much better with this however I find, and also they become smaller but wider and easier to fit in smaller pouches
  16. what type of pistol are you looking for. Even though they are kind of pointless the gbb kick will put a smile on your face, until you can't aim properly and realise you shouldn't have put your rifle down. But they are still great fun. What price range are you looking at as well?
  17. sounds quite cool, like a huntsman from TF2. I would love to see the end thing if you do build it!
  18. Yeah point taken. I thought the 4gb geforce 970 is a great card though? So take one card out, where else would you cut down on price though. Thanks mate, I want to get to as low as possible still using intel and no cutting corners Cheers mate
  19. Ik its overkill, what I will do is buy 1 gpu and when I want to go 4k then buy another
  20. this is me and my life. I have gone from £1000 to £1750 including everything. I think that may be a bit drastic, we will see how everything spans out and how much I can buy and go from there... http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/fMh4Jx
  21. ok mate, will take a look at that now. I did watch a video w/ the exact 2 cards running 4k on ultra, they handled bf4 with like 110 fps, I reckon they should be able to. updated one http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/thH6yc
  22. I know the feeling... let us know! By the look they seem to be very reliable, and coming from paintball their HPA knowledge should be second to none.
  23. very nice and seems to be very reliable, but they haven't really come out so no one knows how good they are. Give them a month or two after they come out I reckon.
  24. yes CCW and CW thread. So they do go on without cross threading both... cross check your silencer and your outer barrel make sure they are right
