  1. right, wanted to see more opinions on it and eventually came up with this. I used toms hardware forum, overall this is what I got http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/nbRZGX Now A) I know an SLI bridge and 2xgtx 970s are overkill maxed but it just means in the future when I get a 4k monitor I already have the graphics. For the time being I may just go with 1. I will also probably swap the PSU to a corsair, and maybe the mouse and the keyboard to a k70 (k70 on pcpp is £260 for some reason)
  2. nonononononononono just no! pretty much the price of a cm16, why go with jing gong. They make good g36's but the m4 isn't on par with the cm16. plus a two tone orange body is going to be hard to cover for skirmishes...
  3. G&G cm16 always. I have one, it is a workhorse and a half! Yes, you can get the cm16 with an RIS or a handguard, either one. Also, full face you can go with paintball masks but they steam up a bit without a fan, depending on which model you get. I recommend heroshark hwoever he is pricey, and you can get a mesh mask for not too much. People say they are bad, it's your decision, I have used one in the past and have taken hits to the face just fine...
  4. ok, looks like £1500 with all the peripherals. or £1150 without them. How good is the heating on this, it will have 3 fans, maybe 4 but probably 3. On top of that it will have the CPU fan, is this good, even with a small bit of overclocking?
  5. doesn't the cm16 have the GHK gas gearbox or whatever? anyway, if you hate small ammo count then maybe hpa tap a hicap? PT has done that and I'm just echoing his post above. ALso as previously stated the range will be your hop up, give it a clean and clean the barrel or get that new one...
  6. derp, I knew I was missing something. So the total build cost is about £1600 including everything. I added in a nice red corsair fan, and some red power cables etc. i5 4690k thanks for that, that will probably be the one to get then, cheers!
  7. Oh also what 24" monitor do you recommend for around the £120 mark?
  8. right updated it to: MoBo: Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 7, Intel Z97, Socket 1150, Motherboard GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 GAMING (Maxwell) Nvidia PCI Express Graphics Card RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance Red 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop SandybridgePSU: Corsair RM Series 750W 70+ Gold Full Modular Power Supply (is this enough?) SSD: Samsung MZ-7TE250BW 840 EVO 250GB Basic SSD SATA 3 Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler for All Intel/AMD CPU's ( it doesn't seem to be ok with 1150s? is this true?) HDD: Western Digital 2TB WD2003FZEX Black Hard Drive CASE: Corsair Obsidian Series 450D High Airflow Mid-Tower Case Any thing I have forgotten? Also, will I need ore fans and will the setup be fine? thanks guys, you have really helped me.
  9. ok, yep I saw the cooler master one. As for a case I was thinking a corsair 450D or along those lines, like the openness as well as the simple structure. I do like complicated cases but I have yet to find a case that I like. By the way, I kind of want a colour co-ordinated setup, and thats why I chose the Asus gtx 970. What is the difference between asus and the gigabyte one? Ok, as for fans would you just mount those cooler master fans at the top, I would probably get two in that case? and would the 2 standard corsair fans be suffiecent, or do you recommend more for this build? Thanks for telling me about that, looking back a watercooler is overkill, and I do understand that I am a noob at this, so just tell me whats wrong and right , no need to "put it lightly". Thanks everyone, this build may be happening, pretty excited!
  10. Im going to bed now, but very grateful go that! In the morning I will check it out, thanks for the help guys!
  11. OK thanks, all helpful stuff. As with the h100i,is it worth it or should I get more fans?
  12. Well, I asked my parents and once I have my side of the money they will put some money towards it. Any tips for building a pc?
  13. yeah I know how you feel
  14. ok thanks for that. mouse wise is the razer deathadder good? It seems to have many good things said about it. Keyboard wise the corsair k70 vengeance?
  15. heard they were expensive, and saw it too will check it out. On there now, do you know if I will want an x79, z77, etc?
  16. Ok, reading through that suggests an i5-4960k that can overclock and be powerful, and is £150 ish. also, is this Asus Z97-PRO WI-FI AC ATX Motherboard any good for a motherboard. It is 150 quid as well. I will price this up in a minute. thanks for the guidance. EDIT: btw tomshardware recommends that, not sure if that is one of their bad reviews or not, will have to check on that later.

  18. thanks, you just answered the question I just posted, will check it out. As for overclocking, what kind of ghz is very fast for bf4 or games like that in good quality settings, not ultra, with a 1080p display?
  19. oh ok, thanks for that. As for intel, what do people recommend. I want a high performance rig that is quite affordable. This as well as an motherboard that supports these components. Oh yeah, one final thing. Would this all be fine with the stock fans and the corsair h100i?
  20. Oh, and also what are the differences between geforce 970 and 770. Also, what are reference cards?
  21. ok, so reading your comments, I shall do that. the budget is £1000 give or take 50 quid. OK so, a Nvidia ge force 790 saves 100 quid, and is it good? I see a lot of people saying how good it is, and I will only be running 1080p at the moment budget wise. Ok, and maybe an intel, which one? I would like an i7 but IDK which would be best. What motherboard would you recommend for this then? thanks guys, appreciate it!
  22. Right, I have been thinking, and to put this into perspective, I have kind of decided to buy a gaming PC instead of a P*. I haven't fully chosen it, but logically I need a new computer and I could combine all my money I have saved up, and maybe get my parents and all family around to chip a bit in. Whithin a few months I could be able to afford it, depending on my parents' view on it. I know very little to nothing about gaming but I miss console gaming a lot, and TF2! I am addicted to watching it and my current laptop can't run it properly, and it's about 5 years old. It's time to get a new pc methinks. Anyway, I have been reading up and I think AMD would be a better budget processor for me, instead of an I7/5? So, this is by no means completed, and I don't even know if any of this is any good, that's why I have asked you! CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage: Toshiba Q Series Pro 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Western digital 2tb hard drive (forget the name) Video Card: XFX AMD Radeon R9 290X Graphics Card 8GB(btw whats the difference between the xfx and MSI one? apart from £50 difference?) thanks Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case ( i can worry about that later) Power supply: corsair 650 watt rm650 psu extras: corsair h100i Now, I have no idea on a few of these things, especially the graphics card. I seem to think it would be compatible because it is AMD, and the 8gb stands out but is it any good? also, is this a good build? what would you change? thanks for any feedback, all appreciated!
  23. welcome back mate, good to have you back, although I didn't know you beforehand
