Thought I'd put this question out there....

so the turbofan are expensive but ess so they should be great quality. You may have to import a pair, only thing I have heard is that they are quite loud (copying your pun ) Check out amped airsoft, in the video ask amped they talk about so goggles part the way through. The turbo fans crop up as well as a few others may want to check them out -
is it a plc? thats interesting, an entrepreneur starting the business, probably making millions from small kids....

"Configurable 30 round magazine lock on the internal case, makes this a very realistic gun perfect even for law enforcement training purposes" EDIT: my bad, didn't read post above
-
Took part in it today, played in the band... Serious event, made me think about all of those who died for us...
-
Oh yeah my bad. But I believe your right in saying they are rare. Only chance is second hand and even then good luck.... Maybe have a look but if you can't find any which I out you will, may as well buy the tm mid caps... Tbh they aren't badly made
-
I think you can get adapters, and on ehobby i think they have some DE pmags left. asain websites are you're best bet for pmags or second hand. With the tm next gen mids you do get the bolt lock feature however..
-
did I spell it wrong? yeah my uncles all work in business, all made a killing in it.... but it's better to have less money i think, they are certainly unhappy or unhappier than us... but they have 100 times the money
-
it will differ, but I would eat my own shoe if it was over 350 fps and new. Mine is under, I think about 320 ish, and that is the general consensus. But yeah, no way it would be over 350 i reckon. The one you bought second hand had probably had a spring change, never heard of it shooting that hot ootb. I would change the spring to maybe an m100, use the afuk app on here to work out your spring.

oh ok. So is it just a piece of metal, or does it provide a coating which then smooths out and becomes the inside diameter? And how do they hold up, if you have ever used one? thanks, it's quite an interesting topic, one I never knew about.

love the scar H.... love it! Also love a DMR, good fun. So why not combine the two together?! IK thats an L in the picture, but you get the idea... I'm sure there are better pictures out there, but this looks like so much fun!

I think mesh can be good and bad. I mean, no fogging etc etc, something I really like, but a bb can go through. A lot of the energy is lost when a bb shatters, but still not a very nice thing to get fragments in your eye, and it has happened to people on here. I do however believe in heroshark. He makes very good quality mesh, tried and tested by me it with stands 500 fps+ I will test out a mask like that against 500 fps, it probably won't survive but what the hell eh? -
I think you would actually be looking at getting a mosfet, it acts as an electronic gate between the trigger switch and the motor in the gearbox. This can then allow you to use 11.1 lipos. The bottom line is don't use over a 7.4 without a mosfet. I don't know much about them, so maybe ask someone who knows a lot about them.... but I don't think it's a good idea without a mosfet.

double eagle make alright shotguns, they seem to be budget but people do like them. Then again, I would never pay 50 quid for a springer. In all honesty, I would get an AEG and then just plink with that. however, the offer to go to a skirmish with a G&G (and not get outgunned) is still open and in the long run it is the better choice. If you want a spring gun you will probably have to buy a cheapie, don't know of any real quality ones out there.

doesn't really look like it would stop a bb. I recommend buying one, they are like 5 quid on ebay, see how you get on with it and if you don't feel like wearing it no one will stop you, depends what you feel comfortable with. cheers -

maybe those aren't such bad junk after all http://www.airsoftworld.net/christmas there you go scroll down a bit. I do like the design, although it is just fake magpul furniture, they aren't bad and at that price with a nice metal receiver, worth it! -

bolles should be ok but IDK much about them, I believe the glasses have the certificate but not the goggles or something like that, IK a lot of people use bolle glasses on here, just go on the quick questions and answers thread and ask or post a new status update or even on here. there is a video, I reckon they are safe. You should always fire them a few times beforehand just to check. Are you gonig to wear a mesh lower? BBs can take out and have taken out teeth... however a lot of people don't wear mesh lowers. I have been shot in that area although I always wear a mesh lower. On another note, 1k posts! -

I like mesh, some people don't. I feel that they are safe for where I play, I use herosharks and they are seriously good, shot them with a 500 fps sniper and it is ridiculous. -

I use a G&G cm16 carbine, great gun, have been for 6 months, not upgradede any internals nor cleaned it and it still runs like a dream and outshoots other mcuh much more expensive guns! its good, I would swap out the face mask although I have used them and they do hold up, depends on how much you care about your eyes. -

basically something you solder on to the gearbox to the trigger contacts. Technical, not really important for newbs (like me lol) however if you wanted to know exactly just ask in the quick questions and answers thread. They allow you to use 11.1 lipos without frying trigger contacts etc. Not too sure, don't take my word for it. CM's don't come with batteries or chargers, I advise you to get a LiPo, they are very good. -

well, you can get every connector, literally. you just need the adapter. But yeah, feel free to post a pic of what it looks like, they are quite easily defined but I'm guessing it will be mini tamiya, you can get the adapters from xt60 on ebay for 3 quid, you just have to swap it around (they are originally built for RC which is the other way around, doesn't take long at all) -

hmm, can get everything from component shop, however Imax b6 can be had from amazon etc. there are some counterfeits floating around so you have to be careful.... and remember to buy one with the power supply... i forgot to do that.. -
what exactly is lapping a barrel etc? what does it mean? Never come across it beforehand...
-
haha, novelty must wear out when you have to run though. Bet thats a task!

completely different. DIfferent opinions, like asking someone what their favourite food is. Best thing to do is to try the 2 out and then decide. As for guns, metal is great and all, but the normal polymer combat machines still weigh nearly as much, are made from high quality polymer that feels strong and are cheap. batteries I recommend are LiPo's, but unless you install a mosfet get a 7.4v, they can handle that. Also, a decent LiPo charger like the Imax b6 or the accucel digital 6 are recommended, very safe and easy to use. Finally, probably best to use .25 bbs outdoors, travel further and the wind doesn't affect them as much
