    The tacvest. Arrived a week ago but never got 'round to taking a picture. Pistol holster is a bit awkward, but it's universal so I'm not too fussed (and the Tokarev is sorta small, wobbles a bit). It's got 4 pistol mag pouches, 3 on the top left, one on the topside of the holster. Room for my 2 spare mags, a speed loader, and a mars bar. Sorted. It has 2 M4 pouches, but I don't have an M4. They're elasticated and can fit things a bit larger in it (hence the Red Bull), and actually fit Warrior L96 mags pretty perfectly so I'm more tempted to finally get around to fixing it. Has a top pocket where the velcro spot is, could fit a phone or probably a couple extra pistol mags in there (but there's plenty of room for them already). The fit is quite nice, I'm bloody tiny so I've got it the smallest it'll go, but with adjustment it can go from a perfect fit on me to a perfect fit on my 6'3 gymaholic cousin in a few minutes, so they weren't lieing about one size fitting most. The adjustment process is a tad fiddly, though you get used to it pretty quickly. All in all pretty damn good for 30 quid, nice fit, hardly any bulk, plenty of storage space. Noice. Holster's also removable incase I get sick of it.

      As grim as that attack was, it wasn't actually a blowtorch. It was an aerosol can and a lighter and the kid got a slightly reddened face and singed hair. Blowtorch would have been much worse.

      Much much worse- an oxyacetylene blowtorch can reach flame temperatures of up to 3500 degrees celcius

    CQB/Urban. SWAT tactics and all that. Woodland is more fun with a ghillie suit and a nice quiet springer, though.

    Any of the guns I've made with Pimp my Gun. If I had to choose one of them, it'd obviously be the F-60 Miyagi, though.

    If you're looking for a good martial arts film, watch Merantau. Just finished watching it. Same director and lead actor as The Raid, same choreographer aswell. Incredibly good.

    Almost bought the same thing before nabbing a Karambit instead. I was thinking of using a Cold Steel Bokken with a loadout, so if I run out of ammo I can just banzai charge. Could put it with a riot shield, actually... And to stay on topic, I bought a torch and mount of eBay for 15 quid, and have a tac vest on the way that I got for about 30 quid on Amazon. Here's the torch, will post pics of vest when it arrives:

    That's true, but I didn't run into them very often. Usually they'd make it too obvious that they were using xray (building stuff out of iron blocks and having diamond everything within their first hour). A friend and I got permabanned from a factions server because the admins failed to siege our fortress. 3km out in the ocean, 50 blocks up from the sea, 5 block thick walls of cobblestone. We ended up using ender pearls to jump onto their cannons and killing them, then they got all butthurt and banned us for 'teleporting'. Fun times, though.

    CS:GO, Minecraft, Total War Rome 2 and Shogun 2, Age of Empires 2 HD, Unturned (great game, free to play at the moment aswell, it's similar to DayZ except with very simple graphics and skill and crafting systems, low system requirements aswell), and Sniper Elite V2 are the multiplayer games I have installed at the moment. I can play any of them with you guys. We should all hop onto a Minecraft factions server some time, I always used to go on them, pretty damn fun.

    Counter Strike: Global Offensive for PC. Modern Warfare 3/Bad Company 2 tied for console. I need to play Battlefield 3 and 4, though. I remember the beta tests for both and they were pretty fun, so I hope the full games are just as fun.

    Seeing the thread title got me excited, thought it'd be comfirmation of the rumours that Echo 1 were going to make AK12s (Can't remember where I read that, likely it was someone talking shit, but still gained my attention). Let's hope that a beefy metal AEG one is secretly on the way.

      A&K make a gas powered underlever 1892 model Winchester (i.e. the cliche John Wayne cowboy rifle), which you can easily find for about 140 quid if you look around, there is a two tone available, as well as a full wood and metal one. It has a mag capacity of 30, which is twice what the real thing had.

      Note that it is pretty hot BTW, firing at about 400-450 fps with .20 BBs, so you ain't gonna be using it for indoor CQB, but most external sites would class it as a sniper rifle anyway because it's a single shot lever action, so effectively similar to a bolt action sniper rifle. It is pretty accurate at long range though, so it could indeed be used to snipe.

    I love all things mercenary. Mixing tactical gear with stuff from another style. It creates some awesome things, and you can make an outfit for pretty much any gun without spending a bunch on proper looking operator gear. Basic merc I'd say would be, black t-shirt (whatever fit you want), any camo on your bottom half (or black, olive, or tan cargos, whatever floats your boat), a security belt or a basic chest rig with a few things on (angled pistol holsters on your lower torso look pretty sweet if you can get them right), some sort of anything to cover your lower face (shemagh, mesh mask, bandana, ninja mask, whatever), and whatever eye protection floats your boat, any headwear you want really (berets, boonie hats and bandanas are good for this kind of thing). As far as footwear, magnums or something would do, or I guess timberlands could work if you're going for a more desert-y look. Then expand on it however you see fit.
