As above, theres a small hole in the top of the cylinder that feeds a small amount of air into a piston that moves the bolt cover when you fire. In reality its little more than a gimmick - a bit of extra noise when you fire.
- A new brand
- A decent, responsive (eg it looks good on a phone) website, which is highly searchable
- Up to date stock counts
- Request re-stock emails
- Fast shipping, reasonably priced (free shipping for over £X ?)
I would also second the thoughts above that you are going to need a hell of a lot of work and money to make this work, you up against a lot of established competition in a niche market. Good luck.

These are the only m4 AEG that I would touch. Note that externals are oem by vfc. So that's vfc externals with lonex internals. Doesn't get any better.
Haha. Just leave your dignity at the safe zone.
I think its more of a question of why the hell you would want to rather than could you? It's airsoft not LARP.
Its worth noting that theres little point in having a flat hop nub with a firefly bucking. These are designed to go into flat hop / r hop setups. Won't hurt it I'm sure, but not really necessary.
As above, if you are considering using 11.1 lipos, get a mosfet installed. Don't use plug and play ones, they are purely for features such as 3 round burst etc. Also, use Deans connectors, I have no idea why they don't come as standard on AEGs.
M4 frankengun - made out of parts I had lying about - G&P receiver and stock, generic RIS, barrel, silencer, Lonex internals. Painted in a ATACS FG style.
As above, I wouldn't run 11.1 lipos on a stock gun. The top techs have very good internals and are decently shimmed out the box but there is a question mark over the stock mosfet that comes in the gen 3s as to whether it will handle high current batteries over time (I swapped mine out for a Gate mosfet, reshimmed etc so I could run 11.1s).
9.9 LiFe are a good middle ground between 11.1 and 7.4. Component shop do some crane stock versions (I run these in another M4), you may want to consider them.
