  1. SRC P42 Case + other stuff from TaiwanGun Black mandible / face pro thing sold out so I've ordered one with a skull on for a bit extra. Was going to get coyote but would look out of place. £82 w/ £10 delivery Shame about having to spend like £250 for free shipping now...but the case is £40 so even with shipping on top it's still £10-£15 cheaper than the UK. (They're £60 from Zero One, must be ~£6 postage too)
  2. I've got a Nextorch WL10 which I think is great. 230 lumens, 80 min run time. Momentary on and constant on modes. There are a few reviews on YouTube too, most notably one by NASH Airsoft. I don't know any other branded or genuine torches that are that kind of price. There's the new WE NUPROL range of lights and the £55 model has a laser too, but it's just re-branded ACM so you could potentially find something similar or the same product a bit cheaper. I've also seen there's an ASG light which I think has the strobe function, Patrol Base used to sell it. Not sure you'll get all the features you want from one WML.
  3. You can put Krylon Clear Coat over paint which helps protect it from wearing off.
  4. What kind of site has a rule that U18's guns must shoot 350? I don't get that... The number (e.g 100 in M100) refers to the velocity it should make the gun shoot at in metres per second. 100 M/S = ~ 330 FPS
  5. If you get the model with the RIS, any Picatinny attachments you want. If you buy one of the models with a standard M4A1 handguard, you could replace it with another type of handguard or rail. For example, a Magpul MOE handguard (suggested them because they're common and a well known brand) PTS and Element also make the rails for em (the latter can be bought as a pack of 4 off eBay for a tenner) Same with any optics if they are for Picatinny (20mm) rails. Some scopes and sights are made for airguns so they will have 11mm Dovetail mounts but there are adapters available too. As already been said, depends on which magazines will fit by brand. MAG ones should fit in a G&G and I would recommend them. Check out Airsoft Supply Drop - £55 for a set of 8, £8 each if you buy em individually. If you get the same product off eHobby Asia (Hong Kong based) it's more like £40 but you have a 3-4 weeks to wait.
  6. Generally anything under £100 isn't going to be good for a skirmish...despite what JBBG says! I was the same when I started thinking why pay £100s when I can get one for £50, the cheap guns will have a really poor construction (cheap plastic compared to probably polymer and metal) The internals too of course, under £100 gears and gearbox shell will probably all be flimsy plastic and break very quickly. You'll also find they aren't compatible with any aftermarket upgrade parts. A few guys on here have experienced this first hand - bought a £70 AK off Just BB Guns...description said it has a metal gearbox, turns out it has ONE metal gear inside. So went to put new gearbox in and it won't even fit. G&G M4s are great for the price. Definitely one of the best value guns out there. Saw the prices of JG G36s today and they seem really expensive to what I had expected. TaiwanGun sell a JG 608 (G36C) for 80 something euro and it's 14 euro flat rate for shipping. You will however need a UKARA defence to buy from them. My WE gas can seems to have lasted 20 magazines already which is really surprising but I really don't know exactly. If the BBs are heavier, the accuracy and range should be better but will travel at a lower velocity. None of the questions are stupid by the way, we've all been noobs.
  7. Second what DEDSEC said.
  8. 5.11 Double Duty 1.5" TDU Belt
  9. I don't see how you couldn't have a full metal receiver if you're spending £300+ It's not so easy to say because there are so many airsoft AR-15 style guns. I'd recommend one of these (http://uk.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_Magpul_Magpul_PTS_RM4_CQB_ERG_Black.htm / http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/pts-pts-rm4-cqb-erg-p3303) they're within your budget but there's only the CQB version in stock. They are awesome from what I have heard, and plus you get the recoil / vibration.Yes it says CQB and is shorter but in airsoft, it's actually the barrel quality that matters more than the length and bore. So you will probably have the same performance as the Scout version anyway. Plus I know there's one or two guys on here who have one - I was going to buy one too but decided I'm going to buy an AUG then get a GBBR M4. If 416s are your thing: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/vfc-umarex-hk-416-p3178 http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/we-we-416-p3358 Have a look at G&P too, they start from around £250
  10. Agreed with the other guys actually, I've bought like 5,guns from Patrol Base but I should've actually shopped around more. Was my mistakes but I don't think Patrol Base has the best range of stuff, they don't seem to stock a lot of guns (although there are more in store than online) If you really want one of those then I'd narrow it down to the King Arms and VFC...heard the CAA isn't great.
  11. Green Devils and BB Bastards are said to be great. If you're after quality BBs to get good performance you'll probably want heavier than 0.20s though. FYI there's a Quick Questions and Answers thread for short questions like these but it's in General Discussion
  12. Well....what do you think would be best to upgrade first? Range, ROF..? IMO If it ain't broken don't fix it. I'd say get high speed gears (like a SHS 13:1 set) and a high speed motor. Re-shim and grease. Convert from Tamiya to Deans connectors and use LiPo batteries. If you want extra magazines get a pack of MAG ones (eight for £40-£55) Get a picatinny rail mount so you can attach an optic. Another external addition could be a ASG B&T Tracer Unit (£39 from Patrol Base) A couple guys used them on their G5s at Halo Mill and they work very well in CQC. Grab some WE NUPROL or ASG Blaster tracer BBs with it. The handguards with intergrated flashlights I've seen are WELL, can pick one up for like £10 from Patrol Base but pbviously they won't be very good. I think G&P makes one, but again not sure it would be compatible with the SD variant.
  13. I'd just paint over it...
  14. I think a lot of places will do the MTP UBACS for ~£20. I know Patrol Base do them at that. I bought a Helikon Camogrom (close Multicam clone) combat shirt off Land Warrior Airsoft for £36 posted - usually £45. I think it's great.
  15. Just an ITW Grimloc off Gunpoint Gear... Gonna save for one of these - http://www.gunpointgear.co.uk/tactical-tailor-fight-light-removable-operator-pack-35000lw-1307-p.asp If some of my stuff sells will go towards new eye pro (either Revision Desert Locusts or Smith Optics Elite OTWs, not sure which)
  16. Speaking of which - what happened to the grab a bargain thread
  17. They don't, but they're great guns and still perform well in the cold.
  18. I think it is, heard bad things about G&Gs mid caps, but nothing bad about the hi-caps. If you wanted mid caps I'd go for MAG ones and you can buy a pack of eight for about £40 shipped from eHobby Asia (but would take 2-3 weeks maybe a month to arrive from HK though)http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/mag-130rd-magazine-for-m4-m16-aeg-black-8pcs.html#.VO3cDPmsWPs That's like a thousand rounds + no winding or rattling.

  20. £200 is a nice decent budget, M4s can be a bit boring when they are so common, but you can't go wrong with a Combat Machine (or really any G&G gun) There's always external upgrades you can do and you can make a unique AR with the amount of different parts there are for them. There's also the confidence of knowing you've got all the aftermarket internal bits if anything does happen to break and also so you could upgrade the performance over time.
  21. Welcome to the forum mate
  22. Helikon Watch Cap (Black) - £7 Emerson 'Neoprene Hard Foam Mask' (Kryptek Highlander) - £11.33
  23. http://www.airsoftpeak.com/element-combat-application-tourniquet-p-9493.html You could use an ITW Grim Loc or Tac Link carabiner to hold gloves or something http://gunpointgear.co.uk/itw-grimloc-carabiner-coyote-brown-692-p.asp
  24. http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/spobb7nx.html You can get the pouch off eBay / AliExpress / AirsoftPeak etc
