  1. There was an article I saw somewhere recently with a guy in a chair. He'd put an armour shield on the front of his chair and mounted an M249 to it! Basically turned himself into a tank
  2. What brand are you using?
  3. Yeah, but I followed it up with "in the face...the little shits". I'm a bad man.
  4. Is it bad that I read the thread title and thought it said "places to shoot kids"?
  5. I'll be honest with you, I'd be climbing the walls in frustration at this. I run 0.25s in Dytac Invader midcaps and have no issues at all in my M4 (which started out as TM but now has a Dytac receiver - which may have some influence of course) and in my G&G SCAR-L. I have a buddy that uses Dytac Invaders with 0.25s in all 3 of his G&G M4s with no problem and another that uses them in his KAC PDW again with no issues. I realise that doesn't help you but if I was constantly being told "well they should be fine" I'd be getting pissed off too!
  6. Have you considered the option that maybe it's the gun? There's thousands of people out there happily using midcaps with 0.25g BBs!

  8. Is ths on your M4? Try a Magpul MS2 or similar copy. Pretty good for adjustability. Don't bother with bungy ones. Waste of time.
  9. It's more important that the cylinder volume correctly matches the barrel length.
  10. NNOOOOOOooooooo.........
  11. Public transport. Public Full of peasants. Cars, made of win since 1885.
  12. 6 hours on a train from me. Not on a train though. Eurgh. Poor people use them.
  13. Ha haaa! That's exactly how I heard it in my head! More forums is always a good thing if you're after a wider range of opinionated twaddle. Not that that's always a bad thing of course. I generally find when I start an interest/hobby I scattergun every forum I can think of and gradually dial back my presence on the ones most full of idiots/rubbish/devoid of any interaction whatsoever. Which is why I have a handful of posts on Zeroin and faaaaaaaahsands on here.
  14. That's nice. 5 minutes from a comic shop and yet 420 miles away from the one I'm thinking of.....

  16. Ahhh....so you know TRC well then! Who are you "over there" then?
  17. There's a company that makes a resin version. Could pretty easily be modified into a dress up kit for an airsoft pistol I reckon.
  18. Many years spent in the murky depths of Visordown and TheRevCounter (both motorbike forums for the uninformed) have left me with a significantly thicker skin and a general attitude of "meh, whatever" when it comes to internet based trolls. TRC once had a thread that started with a n00b introduction and ended with a 183 page flame war. I shit you not. Should any of you have the misfortune opportunity to meet me in real life you'll quickly learn that the same attitude doesn't follow me into real life.
  19. Very true. Unfortunately much like a great many other "minority" hobbies there just isn't the demand for bricks and mortar shops any more. The long running Comet Miniatures in Lavender Hill even shut down last year. Modelzone was a bit rubbish but at least you could, as you say, go in and just have a look. There's a little modelling shop next door to the comic book shop I frequent (yes I am THAT geeky) and he sells all kinds of good stuff by way of supplies but there never seems to be anyone in there!.
  20. Too late, you're on the list now.
  21. Mark Owen (the SEAL chap) made a statement about airsoft (I posted on here somewhere) that would serve your purpose but honestly - it's all just pissing in the wind. Arrse and it's like are populated by mouth breathing knuckle draggers that purely exist to massage their own fragile egos. It's not worth wasting your time on. As a wise man once said - it's like teaching a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.
  22. Mod support too. I miss that. Dragon rising has about a squillion community created maps, missions and even campaigns. Granted some of them are utter pish but some are fantastic!
  23. Thing is, I like my games for two reasons. I like OpFlash and its ilk for the geeky realism and I lament the passing of the "proper" Tom Clancy games for that same reason. But I also like BF3 and 4 and CoD and MoH and hell, even Wolfenstein because sometimes I just want to blow shit up. With a jeep. Covered in C4.
  24. Was this second hand? If not it's probably a chinese clone. PTS stopped production of the licenced Magpul stuff a while back. You might find a nunchuck style battery fits better. My MOE guard fits a 2600mAh 7.4v nunchuck lipo and a Deans adaptor and a Gate NanoAB mosfet just fine. Gets a bit tight when you start adding rails sections though as the threaded inserts they use stick in quite a bit.
  25. You should come to the Mall sometime. Just saying...
