  1. I had Plantar Fasciitis. Have you tried a night splint? Fixed mine (eventually).
  2. Seriously? Do we have to keep doing this?
  3. I'd say no, but this one http://www.componentshop.co.uk/11-1v-1000mah-20c-continuous-discharge-airsoft-lipo-battery.html should. Assuming a milspec buffer tube (which is the smaller of the two) you would have somewhere around 27mm ID to play with. The battery I posted is less than 26mm diagonally so you should be ok. Bit tight but OK.
  4. I have this piston head http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/pistons-heads/shs-piston-head-aluminum This cylinder head http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/cylinders-heads/shs-m4-cylinder-head-pad (although the pad has been replaced with an Airlab sorbo pad). I was mistaken about saying my piston head has 2 o-rings - I was thinking of the cylinder head. Even so, I would suggest that maybe the quality of the seal itself could be better (mine has an Airlab one in it).
  5. It depends where you play to great extent. I only play CQB (indoors) so it doesn't have the opportunity to pick up dirt. Having recently cleaned the barrel on a 10+ year old M4 I can vouch for it not being very dirty at all. As for regreasing the piston once a year - I'd suggest getting a better piston head. Sounds like your seals are the issue to me, not the lubrication.
  6. 1) if you run a mosfet the switch won't burn out. 2) older mosfets don't like microswitch triggers as they are inherently prone to switch bounce (think inadvertent burst fire every time you tap the trigger) 3) the new gen of Gate mosfets are fine with microswitch triggers as they have been built with them in mind. I have a Nano AB (old version) in my M4 and it's great. The AAB is the newer version so it'll be just as great if not more so. Plus it's smaller. While your trigger switch is indeed cheap to change if it burns out it cannot actively brake your motor which you might like if you're planning a 420fps DMR build.
  7. You'd sweat your bollocks off. And leathers are rubbish for mobility.
  8. The Replica Prop Forum Dredd costuming group is your friend: http://www.therpf.com/judge-dredd-costumes-and-props/
  9. Hamsterfet http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/hamsterfet-mosfet-kit (although they're sold out right now). Or some of the less fancy Gate Electronics ones: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/category/switch-assembly-and-mosfet/?manufacturer=151&submit.x=10&submit.y=9&submit=Go
  10. Interesting vid. Definite change in the tone of the muzzle noise but I'm not sure it's any quieter.
  11. I'm going to go ahead and assume you mean Chock there. In which case, yes I tend to agree. On the other hand if you meant me then HOW VERY DARE YOU, SIR!
  12. Those bits always remind me of that part in Crocodile Dundee. You know? The "you can eat it.....but it tastes like shit" part.
  13. You can however be prosecuted for "cycling furiously". Which can include going too fast.
  14. Seriously? Nobody has suggest "All Quiet on the Western Front"? Disappointed. Very disappointed. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Quiet-Western-Front-Erich-Remarque/dp/0099532816/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1414765322&sr=1-1&keywords=all+quiet+on+the+western+front
