If all you've done is change the barrel and hop rubber, I'd suggest that you've buggered up fitting the rubber. Check it isn't getting caught going into the hop. If it isn't sealing properly there the nozzle could be catching on the lip and screwing up the airseal.

That would have been my suggestion. Assuming you're using a vert grip and are right handed, position the torch so you can easily reach the back end with your thumb and happy days. Or you could just lose the laser on account of them being mostly useless anyway.

How the hell do you run about in those? I've lost count of the amount New Rocks I've had that have been 1) stupidly heavy and 2) fallen apart after about 2 miles.

£15 for posting an AEG really isn't that huge a deal. Granted I'm speaking from a position of a well paid job and no kids to suck all the fun out of my life money out of my account but even so. Yes, free postage was great but when you take into account how much cheaper they are selling the guns in the first place it's not so bad. They've potentially done it to try and cover the insurance claims of postage into the UK when customs get involved. They've had an "at your own risk" disclaimer on UK shipping for a while now. As for emailing them and demanding free postage just because Gunfire do? Bit childish. It's their business they can charge whatever the hell they like. If you don't want to pay it, buy from someone else. Simple and more effective.

The trick with buying any TM is finding one in stock! ProAirsoft should be able to help out though.

The G&G is seriously heavy but a nice piece of kit. I've spoken to a couple of guys about the Cyma one and ultimately it's cheap so you have plenty of headroom to improve it to a decent standard cost wise. I wouldn't put too much store in the whole CYMA = cheap = crap though. I have a CM045 AK and yes, it was but but it is by no means crap! One of my buddies has the TM SOCOM M14 and it's lovely. Plastic but lovely.

Yup. That's exactly it. I live in one of the hardest water areas in the country. My wife moved here from South Devon which has some of the softest water in the country. The difference in soap consumption is ridiculous!
