  1. Obvious question but have you cleaned the barrel out?
  2. I get what you're saying there Russell and yes your suggestion of a backpack or a drop leg is useful. We've all made the mistake of getting something because it looks OK and is cheap only to discover it was a useless waste of money but I don't think it's fair for people to jump in straight off (not saying you were I'm speaking generally now) and tell that person that their mags are wrong or they should have bought X/Y/Z type of vest etc. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I wish more people would ask for the advice BEFORE they commit their funds (if nothing else I'm sure there's plenty of us with old kit to pass on). Also - some of the replies here would point to people just not reading the original post.
  3. Sounds to me like people need to stop telling the guy that everything he's already bought is wrong and that he has to go spend money on slightly different versions of stuff he's already got. I see this time and again here and elsewhere. Someone says they already bought a vest and a primary with hi-caps so what does everyone say he needs next? A different load carrying system and mid caps. FFS.
  4. If you want a pistol, go for it.
  5. Tippmann have been around for donkeys tears so they should be able to make a decent HPA gun no problem. Of course the world of airsoft is a spectacularly cliquey one and plenty of people that want to go HPA won't buy it just because it ISN'T a P*. I'd have one.
  6. I honestly think this thread needs a title change to "Boy killed for being a dick". I mean, come on, seriously he was waving a replica weapon about and when challenged by armed police he failed to comply and starting showing them the gun. What EXACTLY did he expect?
  7. Technically - technically - it's illegal to take sand from a beach in the UK. You bad boy, you.
  8. Sorry to hear about that. People that say "why are you so upset, it's just a dog" will never understand.
  9. YAY! Dogs! I like dogs. Dogs are most l33t pets. This was mine as a small feet seeking missile: and now fully grown into an efficient eating and sleeping machine of doom: Captured in a rare moment of being actually awake.
  10. Actually - it might be a bot small for 3 day pack unless you plan on travelling light. There's a bit of a rambling video but it does show the size quite well.
  11. Will do. Looking to use it to cut down the amount of crap I carry to games, I usually use an 90 litre deployment bag and it weighs as much as the moon when it's full!
  12. Just managed to get a Pentagon Assault pack (finally in stock at UK Tactical)

    Screws

The magazine screw you should be able to get from Maplin. The grub screw that holds the sight adjuster knob on you could try Halfords but more likely you'll need a proper hardware/engineering supplies type shop.
  14. They fit in WAS 5.56 pouches but only one at a time (unlike the M4 mags which you can fit 2 in) the top flap should work too as long as you don't adjust it too short.
  15. Really? Where did you hear that from? Just read their website - clear as day right at the bottom "a subsidiary of Oakley Inc" Well....you learn something new everyday!
  16. Figured he might come up in there somewhere seeing as that's what jeph loeb is more known for writing!
  17. I know, just shooting the breeze.
  18. Totally depends on the quality of the PSU and the current on the 12v rail for the GPU. A good quality 500W PSU may well work where a cheap one would just blow up. Personally I'm a fan of the Corsair PSUs but I've also had good experiences with Seasonic.
  19. That's the problem I had which necessitated having a way bigger PSU than I ever thought I'd need! I'm running an Nvidia GTX590 by the way.
  20. http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp I have a Corsair HX1050 in my gaming PC. Just saying.
  21. I'd rather they stick with the useage rules they have (single level only, no higher than knee height unless posting around a doorway). A cheap plastic helmet won't give you much protection against a fist sized lump of metal.
  22. I'll try and confirm the details tonight but as I remember it someone dropped a BFG from the upper level of the Malls and it landed on someone below. Either way, coma, legal action etc. Messy business all round. I honestly don't see how ANYONE could justify hitting someone in the head/face with one of those things as "all part of the game". I certainly don't consider potential brain damage as a risk worth taking when I go out to play.
