    Guys, I would REALLY appreciate it if you guys could go and check out my team's channel. I'll be uploading some exclusive airsoft gameplay over there every Friday afternoon at 3pm GMT. This week, I have a special unedited sniping gameplay- actually the sequel to the most recent video on my channel. Speaking of my channel, I'll still be uploading videos on my channel every weekend for the at least the next few weeks. The minor problem is that, because I am at university, I am away from my camera and airsoft site so I'm actually running low on footage at the moment. I'm going back to my home next weekend for a team game and to collect my GoPro, so I can have some more up to date footage after then. Here's the first video on FIRE TEAM D.E.R.P's channel- a review of Glasgow's Tokyo Marui 1911 NightWarrior pistol and a quick summary of what we'll be doing on there.

    Just putting this out there, and I know this will piss you off, but £15 on top of a £200 AEG really is not that much in the scheme of things. I totally understand why you would be pissed off if you are buying small parts, but I don't see why this is that much of a problem if the gun is an AEG or GBBR. Yes, it's a change from how they used to do business. Yes they are now making you pay for shipping. However, I happen to know for a fact that quite a few UK based retailers (not mentioning names, but a few of them have "BBGuns" in their title) who cannot ship from England to central Scotland for under £20 with their lowest-cost shipping. I can really understand why you are getting annoyed, but it's not an uncommon thing to happen. It's a very sly way of either getting you to buy more to get the free shipping, or to make a little bit of extra money from your shipping costs. annnnnnd prepare for flame war...

      The ICS GLM is great fun. For about 5 minutes. Yes they're big but they're not heavy (being almost entirely plastic). They're not especially practical but the shock effect of waltzing into a room and peppering the occupants with 600 odd BBs cannot be underestimated. Just don't treat it like a primary. You'll get killed pretty quick.

    Something else that I want you all to know is that, as of today (18/10/2014), I WILL NO LONGER BE RUNNING ADVERTS ON MY VIDEOS. I want to make up some bull like "it's because YouTube refused to pay out", but I would be lying. The main reason that I won't be running ads is because I want there to be at least one thing on the internet which is not spammed with adverts. The other reason is that I don't believe that I have the size of audience which requires me to monetise my hobby- which is all that putting these videos on YouTube is. I have a perfectly fine job and currently see no need to make money off something that I do for entertainment

    WEEKLY QUESTION! Would any of you AEG users swap out your main rifle for a sniper rifle?

      I'd like to say yes, but the advantages dont really swing it for me. IMO its not "enough" range increase. However if someone were to hand me an accurate m40a5 I'd be hard pressed to say no.

      I have both and my sniper gets very little use these days, in milsim events then a sniper can be very effective but in general fast paced games it's almost pointless, I'm even toying with selling mine purely due to lack of use

    If you're splitting it into a north and a south, would it be worth considering either F&O Anzio or somewhere in Scotland for the "north" event? It's pretty accessible for most of the north of England, while remaining accessible for the Scottish players.
