Yeah, the 556 is actually tumbles on impact, the heavier back end flips foward, wripping into the target then tumbling all the way through to create massive trauma via shockwaves I believe I read before. Mice are a couple of inches long but can stretch themselves out to 2-3 times that when climbing out of a crack to scare the hell out of you. Rats are much bigger.

Mice are cleaner and will not leave a smear. Leave a wine cork in the middle of the kitchen floor to track mice. They will not resist taking it and nibbling it wherever they go. In the morning just track the trail of cork bits. Also drinking a bottle of wine will help you sleep without fear
