    On FPS games, do you guys have click button to zoom or hold button to zoom? Prefer click to zoom because I don't like applying pressure to my mouse while moving it fast at the same time.

      It's one action to come out of aim down sights either way. Whether that's lifting your finger off the mouse button or pressing it again.

      Right mouse button is jump for me, zoom is toggled on pressing the wheel down.

      I use hold on both PC and Xbox now I have a cross-compatible controller. Some say I won't get the precision that I would with a mouse but so far it's been on par. If I was still using the touchpad/mouse then I'd use click to aim though. Mice just seem like they're more made for it.

    Airsoft Edinburgh do private skirmishes at set prices for set times. They are extremely expensive though, for 1 hour, it's like £15 per head which isn't that long. It goes up to around £80 per head i think for like 6 hours maybe. Honestly, just play a regular game and have walkie talkies amongst your friends.

      That is horrific.....the only exception for M14s with rails is the M14_AIM weapon file in ARMA2. That I have no problems with, but a full RIS? On yer bike :P

      I would choose the cyma ebr but it would be too heavy for my own good. I am going for the socom version with the shorter barrel.

    Oh ffs! I'm in edinburgh and there are only 3 sites that could go to. Corvus has closed. Legion Airsoft has closed. NCIS has closed. Bullshit. Land warrior is too far away, i'm not taking a 1 and a half hour journey to it.

      They don't have to be in a case, just out of sight. You can put guns in the boot of a hatchback car and then have just the parcel shelf over them, or even just cover them with a blanket or something.

    What's a better upgrade for firerate? Changing the gears which can be a hassle or leave everything stock and just buy an 11.1v lipo battery?

      Another good way to up your ROF is to do a load of little tweaks to increase your air efficiency, push the max FPS and then drop the spring power (most gearboxes lose 20% of their power due to not being air efficient, fix that and you can put a much weaker spring in)

      AND, finally, if you just want a standard 'this' answer, if you can only do gears OR battery, go gears.

      if your gun isn't up to it you will be rebuilding the gearbox anyway in 6months or less if teeth start to strip/over run.

      Ther are now LiFe batteries @ 9.9v which may be a more gentle trade off for your gun

    They have gearboxes that are much more advanced than normal gearboxes, they never miss a shot and have instant trigger responses. Plus they use interchangeable cylinders which means you can change the fps within seconds. They are 1:1 scale in terms of weight and detail. They are advertised to be training weapons used the the military, so obviously, milspec is a selling point and an excuse to jack up the price by 5 million.

    I just found out that when I bought my laptop months ago, it came with cyberlink powerdirector 10 and apparently cyberlink and AMD work together because I see AMD labels everywhere on effects. I can find stuff easily as well. I'm going to try it out now and see if it's any good.

    So I used to use adobe after effects quite a lot but I just kept using trial versions and it's great. I can have precise edits and sync audio extremely well. But I can't use it forever on trial and I ain't paying 400 quid or what ever it costs. I use windows move maker quite a bit too and I really like it; it's simple to use and does the job well. But it does have that many effects which I would like. Today, I decided to use lightworks, which is free and what an utter load of shyte bollock it is. Dragging and dropping doesn't exist, they use this "mark and park" method which is utter shyte. Useless. I can't even sync videos to music precisely, it's extremely off. The worst editor I have ever used. Is there anything that is decent enough to have some effects and have precise editing?

    hey... that's great and all... but please, check the date of the original post Anyways, since we're on this, I might as well say that since I posted in this topic a while, I too have bought a decent gaming laptop for my self and it cost me £530. It's a lenovo G505s with an AMD A10 5757m CPU with a Radeon 8650g and Radeon 8570m GPUs. Brilliant for the price.

    They seem like innocent toys but in secret, Morrisons actually direct them to pyrotechnics; they send children in large quantities to buy the so called "cheap toys" and they give them to the pyrotechnics. The pyrotechnics then fill them with petrol and attach an ongoing fire at the end of the barrel. They are gonna get an army of them of and burn down da citeh.

      Or just save, get a GBB, have fun with it and tell the neighbours to f*ck off; you'd be wasting your money on an AEP, they're only good for plinking and have no practical use in a skirmish whatsoever. Trigger response is sh*t OOB, accuracy is sh*t OOB, muzzle velocity is sh*t OOB; and you can't change that unless you open one up and fiddle with it. TM GBBs will be great out of the box, have the legendary TM accuracy and range and will also last you a lot longer with much better pe...
