ok cool, i'm gonna be off to edmonton alberta. i am also leaving in november too Contacted customs and im waiting for a reply, i have read so many contradictory statements - you definitely cannot import in whether its a country or an individual. Also their FPS rates are laws, anything over 470fps or something like that is considered a firearm by their ideas and therefore need a firearms license which you have to take a course on. But like i said there is very limited info on whether you can bring one in. i'll let you know if i hear back from customs

Hi, im just wondering if anybody can give me some help. I currently own a aeg and gbb pistol, i am moving to canada for a year and was wondering if anybody knew the rulings of me taking them over. I understand that the item has to be: -declared at customs (let them know everything, i hear that mentioning it is a replica "toy" similar to paintball helps) -in a hard case box with a lock that TSA can open and inspect if needed - i may have to pay an extra charge of bringing it in Now i am just confused about whether it is actually legal for me bringing it into the country or whether i will end up getting there and getting arrested or what, i dont wanna take my chances and get the item seized but i dont know. To kind of assist my case my AEG has a custom paint job and has a silver barrel and stock so if somebody was to just glance at it would thing it was a toy haha Would having an orange tip help my case too?

Also with mags is it just standard m4 mags?or do they have to be specific g&g mags??

I think i will just go for the CM16 Raider L, save money on a scope i wont need Also with regards the battery i have done some more research, am i right in thinking that an 8.4v NiMH battery will be suitable, i have seen that its useful for beginners but may not be as reliable as a LiPO battery. I think as im a beginner i'll stick with the NiMH battery and move on to one for advanced users later. However in the meanwhile is a 8.4v suitable or will i need to move up to a 9.6v battery (NiMH)? is it just rate of fire or is there more to it than that? i'm not bothered about losing rate of fire, i choose to conserve ammo and rarely go full auto on someone (unless they're not calling their hits)

Thanks for the response Is there a scope off the top of your head that would be suitable for skirmish games? (low budget), and if i ever get into CQB games would just a red dot sight be appropriate?

Hi all, I've recently got into airsoft and am loving it, just got my UKARA and i've been looking into getting my own airsoft gun (i'm feeling very underpowered at the skirmish site im at - everybody seems to have a tonne more range and scopes in comparison to a very basic rental i use). Now from what i've been researching so far has led me into looking at G&G combat machine. As i've been looking i've been trying to find the long versions as the majority of airsoft i will be doing is skirmishing The 2 choices i have come across are: G&G Combat Machine CM16 Raider L DST & G&G Combat Machine CM16 R8-L DST My problem im coming across is that these 2 guns seem very similar....i think they are exactly the same, although the R8-L has a scope included. I have done some research on the scope and peoples opinion on it and they seem to think it is a very basic scope and not neccessarily that great, however the rifle performs great. On the other hand the CM16 Raider seems to get praised a lot, and is a cheaper price. Would it be a wise choice to go for the CM16 Raider and upgrade it to a scope (which is better than the stock scope for the R8-L) or go for the R8-L where i practically have everything out of the box (minus battery) Unless i'm going down the completely wrong route here and there are some more suitable options? Just another quick question regarding batteries, from what i presume, these rifles both take mini crane stock batteries, i understand with higher voltage= more wear on the rifle and can damage it. But from all the websites i've looked at nobody really recommends the best type of battery/voltage, so i've kind of hit a brick wall on that. Thanks for your help!

haha no i am over 18, a 24 year old student, so i have very limited funds, rental guns will be good for me dont wanna rush into getting anything just yet. So would you recommend buying some extra bb's? im sure they'll have some on site but bare in mind i have no experience with airsoft or airsoft guns so loading will be confusing at first. Haha i sound useless! Thanks for your tips so far! i've got some cheap surplus camo, boots and face protection getting delivered later this week so hopefully i'll be all set and wont stand out too much as a newbie haha! Any in field tips? other than dont walk out in the open, and always call my shots (i can understand that getting extremely frustrating if not done)

Hi all, Just thought i'd come on and say hello! i'm new to airsoft and am having my first game this weekend at Humber airsoft Has anybody got some tips or any advice? I'm heading there on my own because i'd like to get to know new people (plus all my mates aren't really into it) so im looking forward to meeting new people and get a good introduction into airsoft Anybody been to Humber airsoft before? or heading down this sunday?
