  1. "Can't promisse any money at start, but we would share agreed percentage on the finished products"

I really think you need to rework your business plan before you take someone on board to make stuff for you. If I was a candidate, that kind of phrase would make me run away faster than a speeding bullet. IMO, it's either you pay them upfront for their work or it's nothing. Because, as you said, it's risky and you've not shown that there is market potential for these kinds of products. So if you do happen to take on some talented person on an agreed percentage, and the business flops, that talented individual has worked hard and wasted much of his time for diddly squat. After all, it is your dream, not theirs.

For most airsoft/robotics projects, python should be adequate and there are a lot of free learning resources out there.

You're going to get a bunch of different responses as it's largely a matter of opinion at the end of the day. Also, you're going to get people like me answering truthfully, but unhelpfully; I think the pre-ban Tanaka m700 rifles are the absolute best bolt actions to have ever graced airsoft, but good luck getting one. Heck, even the KJ Works clones are hard to find!

*sounds of a salty airsoft sniper who wants one intensifies*

The king arms ones are better than the kjw ones and they have the adjustable fps bolts right off the bat. Available too right now... but on places like justbbguns for some reason ahha

  3. Long time bump but the test has ended. I wrote a final summary here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UEbdWLlQ0mhU6KDJK4WMe1JZ5D6dEQYOkyd7ipUBJ2s/edit?usp=sharing

During the time of the test, I have further iterated a superior version of it with textured sides:

    Which looks like this:

The biggest obstacle currently is money ahah. I will have to get some of that first. Work + sell off a bunch of stuff.

  4. Hate to say it but the ssg10 is up your alley. It does work decent out of the box.

Maple Leaf do a stock for the VSR with stock adjustment, though I believe they're around £150 for just the stock. Also, at some point, they'll be bringing out a new, super lightweight stock for the VSR, but Novritsch has exclusivity on it for the moment for his SSG10A3. Who knows how much it'll retail for when it does release though.

You mean this stock? It's available as a separate piece: https://www.wgcshop.com/products/maple-leaf-mlc-s2-stock

In terms of tuning, gas sniper rifles require the least amount because they don't have to hold any heavy springs for prolonged periods of time. Most of the just need a new hop bucking and barrel and you're set. They're my favourite kind of sniper rifles but you have to work around the gas performance fluctuations.

  5. I had the Korth PRS, it was shit. When you see the real korth prs, you see the nice shiny, smooth steel. What do you get with the ICS? A flimsy pistol with horrific external coating. Like wtf is that shit on the outside? It's like a matte, rocky finish that feels like plastic. I'd rather take WE's terrible chrome finish to what the Korth has. Performance was also "meh". It was ok but it has a really weak recoil spring which made the impulse feel mushy. I bought it for £150 off taiwangun at the time which was a robbery. Seem to be on sale for £125 on firesupport right now which is still a robbery.

  6. Soaked. Soaked to fuck. Removed my gloves for one game because they were soaked, got both middle and ring finger shot which are now bruised and swollen in a nice purple colour. Goggles fogged up to fuck all day. People left one by one because of the weather. When it ended, walked for 30 min in torrential rain with no cover and sat on the bus for an hour with all my stuff laid out everywhere on the top floor.

Still was a decent day though.

  7. You're pretty much looking at the KWC 1911s like this: https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/cybergun-colt-rail-1911-kwc--co2-stainless-15812-p.asp

There are several variants around but they're all the same internally. They work on CO2 so they're loud, make nice metal noises, and has decent enough performance. Tolerance and quality control isn't the greatest but you get what you pay for. Pretty much best in slot for a "realistic" metal pistol in this price range.

That would certainly solve the cut-off lever issue.

Exactly, tear that shit out and replace it with something that works :D only costs half the value of the gun itself

  9. Ye that sounds like cut off lever issues. Happens on my v3 gearbox atm too. It may be that it's worn down from use and doesnt have enough strength to pull back that trigger trolley when partially engaged.

The easiest solution imo is a mosfet like a gate titan that optically detects the gear movement and forces it to stop at the same place every time.

The only way to lock it to semi would be to mechanically lock the selector which is doeable but means drilling and tapping the lower receiver for a grub screw. It does fire like a spring gun when you cock the AEG without a battery connected. reminds me of my KSC HK33 in some respects.

Reminded me of this when I first saw this thread

  11. Never considered it before but I actually am now after seeing some reviews and shooting tests. They sound good in videos.

Wonder if you can dmr it as I'd like to take it that route.

And im guessing you can fire it like a spring gun if all goes wrong?

  12. Ye don't really recommend them. Bought second hand King Arms MDT LSS from them before and it was advertised to come with 3 gas mags but instead came with 2 hpa tapped ones... Kept chasing them, they kept saying they would sort it out but never did. I was going to do a charge back on my card but decided it wasn't worth the effort, so I sold off the hpa ones to get actual gas mags for it.

What's weirder is that one of owners somehow started following my instagram account that I never use out of the blue. Like, that is creepy as fuck.
