  1. Patches are allegedly dispatched and will be here within 5 days. Only took opening a dispute I guess.
  2. They will still be available even after they're initially sent out Also going through PayPal escalation today to force their hand so we'll see what happens.
  3. Appreciate the offer but I don't think there's much that you'd be able to do short of knocking on their door and seeing what's taking so damn long. If I've no response with a dispatch date by tomorrow I'll be continuing PayPal proceedings.
  4. Had an update today. Still not fully sated for reasons I'll omit from this public forum, but in any case it looks like the cogs are still turning.
  5. Oh also I put these in the Supporters but haven't put them here. I got them pictured next to some fruit just to confirm the contrast and saturation (wasn't obvious in the originals).
  6. May pursue other options in addition to finding out why they're not replying. If this is a case of them not being able to put out the volume I can also try and get a small batch to fulfil those orders made by people who I'm sure will want them for the meet up next month. I too am surprised at the lack of service given their reputation - it's one of the biggest reasons why I picked them and was happy to pay import duty and VAT on these. We're now coming up on 4 months since I initially contacted them for a quote and it's been 2.5 since the order was paid for (in full I might add). A reminder to you all that you can request a refund on these pre-orders at any point up until dispatch. Just send me a PM. Word for word I was sent: On August 14th. This is the last email I've had from them and it's pretty unambiguous.
  7. Less than ideal update: I've heard nothing from them this week despite an email a day from Thursday onwards asking when they were intending to dispatch (they originally stated a dispatch date of some time early last week). Safe to assume that they've not so far, but I haven't more information on why. I've lost my patience at this point so I'll let you all know how they respond on (hopefully) Monday and we'll go from there.
  8. In the nicest way possible with the point I'm trying to make: I will post updates as soon as I have them. However, to add clarification to my previous post I should stress that this means dispatch from the US (where they're being made), not dispatch to you guys. Still hoping to have them out by end of August but I've had no shipping information from Britkit as of yet.
  9. Geoffs and Longbows are the same BLS BBs by the way, so whichever you can get cheaper might be best.
  10. Slight update: I've been informed that they're in full production and will be dispatched by next week. Assuming no hold-ups at customs or problems with shipping they should be dispatched before the end of the month reasonably comfortably.
  11. I've been told this month will be fine to expect them by, but I don't know specifically which date I'm afraid.
  12. I think this thread should mostly just become one about me apologising for not updating the thread. Sorry about that.
  13. Got around to applying the new logo. Please let me know if this cocks up anywhere on the site as it's a scalable vector (which IPB doesn't support by default) so it's a bit hacked in.

Oh and it's 'new' in the loosest sense.

  14. Important stuff in bold. You can buy a new AF-UK patch using the link in the top menu. They're due for dispatch this month (assuming no delays in production) The new official AF-UK patch has been going through some design iterations these past few months and also a lot of colour changes to get it where we're happy with it. Though the patches are still in production (now the full batch, rather than pre-production samples), I'm expecting them to be about some time this month. All of the 'pre-orders' will be dispatched at the same time as soon as possible and you can request a refund at any time up until this point. The price is £6 - up from £5 for the old patches They're also now PVC and available in two different sizes (and four colours). You'll get a marker/icon under your name for buying one A small reward for supporting the site, but also so that you know who to look out for (read avoid) in the safe zone. This icon might change a bit over time if it's becomes obnoxious (i.e. it might get a bit smaller or be moved elsewhere in your profile). https://airsoft-forums.uk/store/ That's about it really.
  15. If you're asking me: Varies from FCU to FCU. I don't know of ones that specifically allow trigger delay, but I don't have a huge amount of personal experience with solenoid HPA anyway. HPA is wasted on a DMR that needs a 1 second delay though, no matter how cheap or expensive it was.
  16. Or HPA for that matter. I know it's a good 30% of the reason why I use one. Drop in kits available
  17. Looks like Army Armament. @Duff
  18. Agreed. I also bought the FRV about a year ago now and it's excellent.
  19. I am seeing the same on PC if I check Sacarathes profile. Could be a quirk of being pulled out of archiving and the indexed for the unread content stream. Any thread over 4 years old gets archived, but on a database level that doesn't actually do a huge amount so it shouldn't cause any issues. Not something I've seen before. Then again though, that text didn't come from nowhere. Did you perhaps edit that post almost immediately, Sacarathe?
