  1. running it so it won't deliver any more charge, e.g. flat. don't do that to a LiPo, it'll damage the battery
  2. still technically a crime, but most importantly, no one cares.
  3. Why? Why do the public need to be aware? I would suggest you read the whole VCRA, but that'd be cruel, needless to say it covers a LOT more than just Imitation Firearms. There's a lot of laws that people aren't particularly well informed about, generally people only look into things when it directly affects them, like the VCRA does with airsoft.
  4. yes, you'll lose FPS by switching your hop-up on, it partially blocks the barrel. try shooting with it off all the way though... you'll want to turn it back on!
  5. the law is clear, people just haven't bothered to read it.
  6. what? no, adjust your hop-up, chrono has nothing to do with it. inside the ejection port on your gun is a little wheel... that adjusts your hop-up.
  7. Why does everyone always want to reinvent the wheel!? Just stick a bit of kitchen roll in the end of the cleaning rod, soak it in white spirit and pull it through the barrel, repeat until it comes out clean.
  8. Yes we have. PTW, TM recoil, any GBBR. You can even get a madbull hop up with an o-ring that catches the BBs stuck in the hop.
  9. WHAT?! no no no no no. Before you dole out advice, please be sure you actually understand the law. If you gift someone an item you transfer ownership to them, e.g. if I were to gift you a mars bar it would become yours. It is 100% legal for an under 18 person to own a RIF, they just can't buy one. THERE IS NO LEGAL RESTRICTION ON OWNERSHIP OF A RIF, only sale, purchase, manufacture and import. So when you say they're 'my guns' if your mum/dad/uncle/jimmy saville has given them to you, then they are yours.
  10. Can't see that working, you'll be creating a deliberately unstable bit of air right in front of the muzzle; that's going to affect your BBs.
  11. Crye AVS is confirmed as being 'in use', as is the CPC in multicam. No decent replica of the AVS yet but semapo and VGC are both doing half decent copies of the CPC. AVS is cheap enough (relatively) in the basic 'plate hanger' format, 2 plate bags and the cummerbund would come in at less than $350.
  12. not bright enough to get a tracer working properly, better off putting a tracer unit on the end of your barrel if you want that function.
  13. Yeah, it's a strobe light squished into an ugly flash hider. Not nearly close enough for me to ever consider using one.
  14. the six 12 AFAIK is a purpose built breaching shotgun; it's designed to smash hinges and locks off doors, not for shooting people.
  15. that was quick! bit far for me sadly is the site bookable for weekend games (e.g. the whole weekend friday evening to sunday afternoon)?
  16. Any chance of a postcode for the site?
  17. "I think he was trying to say" is all well and good, what he ACTUALLY said though is something different. He said he finds it hard to hit targets, more FPS will not fix that.
  18. if you're having trouble hitting people it's because you're not a very good shot, not because your gun needs another 30 fps.
  19. You're unlikely to notice an extra 23 fps, you'll get bigger gains on range by improving your hop up and using heavier ammo.
  20. SRC gun in poor quality shocker. quick, someone call the press!
  21. you say you've just bought this? take it back, if it's not the hop-up being fully off and allowing BBs to pass through there's something wrong with it. get a refund/replacement, if you take it to bits it's likely the retailer will tell you that your warranty is no longer valid.
