yes, you'll lose FPS by switching your hop-up on, it partially blocks the barrel. try shooting with it off all the way though... you'll want to turn it back on!

what? no, adjust your hop-up, chrono has nothing to do with it. inside the ejection port on your gun is a little wheel... that adjusts your hop-up.

Can't see that working, you'll be creating a deliberately unstable bit of air right in front of the muzzle; that's going to affect your BBs.

Crye AVS is confirmed as being 'in use', as is the CPC in multicam. No decent replica of the AVS yet but semapo and VGC are both doing half decent copies of the CPC. AVS is cheap enough (relatively) in the basic 'plate hanger' format, 2 plate bags and the cummerbund would come in at less than $350.

if you're having trouble hitting people it's because you're not a very good shot, not because your gun needs another 30 fps.

You're unlikely to notice an extra 23 fps, you'll get bigger gains on range by improving your hop up and using heavier ammo.

you say you've just bought this? take it back, if it's not the hop-up being fully off and allowing BBs to pass through there's something wrong with it. get a refund/replacement, if you take it to bits it's likely the retailer will tell you that your warranty is no longer valid.
