  1. @Kieronwf there is absolutely nothing wrong with a bone stock M4 or 416 Recoil. 55M is not to be sniffed at. What you are getting with a Recoil is; - Recoil obv - TM reliability - The best AEG hop unit ever (M4/416/Scar) - Firing stop on empty - Great build quality You will want to run it on 7.4 LiPo - simple From there run it and see how you get on. Easy external mods are; Prommy 6.03 barrel - fps increase Super Nub/Omega with 0.25 BBs After that it gets silly but good.
  2. Yeh that’s what I was trying to get from him, what you need the gun to do realistically. Dont know if this is still available but this is the sort of thing you’d want KoA 416 if you are gaming long distance assault role.
  3. If you want an AK THIS is available, i built this for @alxndrhll. It is a beauty inside and out, 65M range. If you want an AR to be the best tool possible you really need a TM Recoil IMO. It depends what you want from you gun straight out the box. If you want a reliable accurate 55M gun then a stock Recoil will do it. If you want more than that then you’ll need to upgrade any gun (other than a TM MWS), which takes time and money. @Kieronwf where are you planning on gaming, do you prefer field or CQB?
  4. Yes have used DP, sadly airsoft is airsoft and QC varies weekly. You may just have had moulding burrs or something?? Ultimately keep these gats lubed and free from debris and theyll truck on, run dry, shit BBs or dirty mag/feed lips etc and its a lottery. I do wish TM would up the spares supply!
  5. No, if you take the nozzle out of the bolt youll see a 17mm ish diameter cup seal, if that runs dry youll get issues. Or easy diagnostic, swap the bolt between your guns and see if the problem moves to the other gun
  6. Hi! Yes the DP and Modify nozzles work OK. Is the piston lid seal sufficiently greased?
  7. Hmmm 'the gap'
  8. They are good OOTB, the shimming is crap though.
  9. Going to be a hella stiff recoil by the time youve got all that spring stuffed in!! ?
  10. Is it these; https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/spade-connectors/4881257 If so you want these; https://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Heavy-Duty-Ratchet-Crimp-tool-for-NON-insulated-terminals.-TT350.html#SID=97 The pliers linked by @Iceni I brake are for tube type or cord end terminals * I believe
  11. Can for the long gun? ?
  12. It really annoys me that nothing is what it seems anymore, lots of brands with great historical reputation are bought up and subsequently turned sub standard for bigger profit all unknowing to the end user that thinks they are buying the same quality item their dad had for 50 years. Its not just tools it’s everything from washing machines to cars. @Tactical Pith Helmet do have a pic of the terminals you are wanting to crimp?
  13. Ultimately what a customer does with there own belongings is upto them. We have all run hotter gas in our GBBs, higher volt batteries in our AEGs etc, we know there will be accelerated wear but it’s our choice. It’s not upto a retailer to stand by a warranty on a product that has been knowingly used outside of the design.
  14. Yup that’ll do it ?
  15. So you’ve got a non stock BCG in there now?
  16. Do these suffer from bolt bounce? That may be the cause of random double feeds
  17. Many holes!! I thought you would have had at least 2 of these, you got ALL the guns ?
  18. Indeed, like me you havent been out and played in a while! Your FPS is about right on with that barrel length, if you were running a 370 you would be 400-425 fps
  19. What gas you using? what temp? What inner barrel?
  20. I was interested… then I saw the price ?
  21. Drop legs and Radars are a ridiculous idea flapping about. I suppose the army liked them because it was easy to draw whilst sitting in a vehicle. Of course everyone to their own, just making it clear that the bulk of a pistol is most secure/non flappy when mid ride with thigh/crotch strap.
  22. The operator type non pals belts are low profile and stiff. Im not saying mid ride because ‘tacticool’ or whatever, it just works. Comp shooters use very open/insecure holsters, which exit forwards easier. Tactical holsters need much more of a vertical draw, and unless you have Trex arms drawing off you waist is high, nothing wrong with that, but as you said it interferes if wearing a rig etc, but the biggest deal breaker for me is running, climbing, sitting with a mid ride is SO much more stable and un-interfering.
  23. The Brit Tac belts are definitely nice kit, and winning availability/cost wise. Personally I prefer the plain belts without PALS / Molle slots as they are less bulky and you can put anything anywhere along the belt. A good very cheap black only option is the Protec police inner/outer belt. I myself love the Eagle Industries operator belt with Alpin clasp. Whatever belt you go for make sure to use a mid ride holster with thigh strap, it’s the only way!!
  24. Actually looks like there’s a guy with an even better suit there!!
