I’ve done a lot of pistol builds over the years , many moons ago it was a real chore with lots and lots of fettling required , slide to frame fit being the biggest issue for a pistol that’s going to work at the end of it . Nightmares about a Prime / Tokyo Marui SIG226 kit still haunt me to this day
My last few have been an absolute breeze to be totally honest , mostly guarder kits onto TM pistols , a couple of Glocks , a Beretta and a 226e2 . the production quality has certainly stepped up in my humble opinion so I’d be as bold to say just have a crack yourself , a decent fitting micro driver set , some good quality pin punches and a good clean workspace and just get on and try . Take photos as you go or video it and take your time
