If you like tinkering with AR’s then it’s worth getting an AR vice block , this will give a bit more support and let you get a proper supported grip on the barrel nuts .

Kydex is going to be your friend for the not so common combo , a few places in the U.K. do custom work and it might not be as expensive as you think , or trawl through AliExpress , I got this one for about £13 delivered , G19 w / TLR-7 & RMR , it’s genuine kydex and retention is adjustable . I’m back … luck was on my side for a set of genuine Ruger ring mounts for an obscenely cheap price from eBay , so I’m playing with my 9.5incher again Bushmaster 2.5x32 long eye relief scope can now be fitted the only question is , do I get a holster for it ??‍♂️

it’s a +2 extended base plate from a TM G22 magazine , not rubber but good quality typical TM ABS . although just got some others from the classifieds on here which should have them all matching

Krylon , alcohol wipes , masking tape the bits you don’t want painted and just get creative , it’s hard wearing , easily removed (only elbow grease required ) and easy to spray over & touch up if required.

I’ve done a lot of pistol builds over the years , many moons ago it was a real chore with lots and lots of fettling required , slide to frame fit being the biggest issue for a pistol that’s going to work at the end of it . Nightmares about a Prime / Tokyo Marui SIG226 kit still haunt me to this day My last few have been an absolute breeze to be totally honest , mostly guarder kits onto TM pistols , a couple of Glocks , a Beretta and a 226e2 . the production quality has certainly stepped up in my humble opinion so I’d be as bold to say just have a crack yourself , a decent fitting micro driver set , some good quality pin punches and a good clean workspace and just get on and try . Take photos as you go or video it and take your time

Not random at all , if I recall correctly it’s a 360mm or 370mm crazyjet fitted in that one , I’d have to dig the packaging out though to confirm .
