  1. https://www.powair6.com/en/aeg-outer-barrel/6181-tokyo-arms-multi-length-cnc-outer-barrel-for-m4-aeg-black.html something like that?
  2. https://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/Ares-L42A1-Rifle?search=Ares Lee Enfield up for preorder , £694 🤭
  3. i had the Detonics years ago which was always good fun but this little v10 is just right , anyone got a good source for officer sized grips ?
  4. thats a name that keeps cropping up , I shall get in touch I think
  5. that is very nice indeed , the trigger would take a bit of getting used to (much like an M910a on an mp5 😛 ) but I like it do you mind me asking who is doing your Cerakote work ?
  6. I’ve a soft spot for the old gen Surefires , aesthetically they please me , athletically they do not 😛 I’m here purely for picture porn 😇
  7. Trouble is in a subforum you’ll still get the same questions as you get in a super thread just in individual threads , scattered everywhere because people will still moan that they can’t be bothered to read through all the others . unless … you break the subforum down with stickied threads and then lock the rest so new threads can only be started by request . Still a lot of work for moderators to keep tidy though . just my 2p.
  8. How detailed are you going to get ? are we talking if you squint on a dark night and “oh yeah now I see what you were trying to do” Or a full 360 break down under the microscope “I’m sorry but your button is out of orientation to this reference picture from 1972” . 🍿
  9. you'll need to get her the pistol to match now too 😛
  10. Needs a good run in , everything is super tight (which is nice ) but right on the limit . high flow valves and upgraded gas routers might be required
  11. New kit for a very old and tired stock TM Sig 226 , over 10yrs old , probably closer to 15 and was my back up & winter use 226 back in the day . About 6months ago I fitted the threaded barrel and it’s bugged me ever since … so now time for a full face lift .
  12. my order arrived today , thanks again for the heads up
  13. 😛 jk. nice work , hope she enjoys it !
  14. that’s the bleed screw , close the main valve and undoing that lets the pressure out of the whip line .
  15. @Floperator“Essentially a bomb” 🤪 lol . It’s a 5yr test , I don’t know many airsofters that hold onto stuff longer than 5months lol , if your bottle is out of date or looks damaged then they won’t fill it , but I’d of hoped you’d of noticed this before getting to the shop . saftey and storage of a certificated dive cylinder isnt really a concern . the little Chinese HPA bottles with valves of dubious quality that a lot of folk have strapped to a belt or in a back pack on a game day should be more of a worry Gun shops have onsite compressors to fill dive bottles , mostly dive bottles that they sell but most bigger stores will also have a small selection of home compressors , not many will be retailing the £200 Amazon specials though , for good reason . compressors are convenient if you are doing a lot of filling but I’d suggest doing some proper reading up on high pressure air compressors and the maintenance required that goes alongside doing a lot of filling . Here’s a good read on cylinders, https://www.airgunforum.co.uk/community/index.php?threads/the-cloverleaf-guide-to-air-cylinders-bottles.181349/
  16. For at home 7 , 9 or 12 litre surface valved 300bar dive bottle and whip with a quick detach adaptor to your mini HPA bottle is all you need . if you want to travel around and take it to games go for a 3ltr or 5ltr , don’t bother with anything less than a 300bar / 4500 psi bottle as you’ll be forever getting it refilled . Refill costs at most dive shops or gun shops are around £5-15 depending where you go and how low you run it.
  17. Not sure if this would fit the MWS? , it fitted fine on my WE GBBR it’s pretty sturdy and is a cheap option if you just want to see if this style of stock suits you , https://www.powair6.com/en/stock/12910-gk-tactical-pdw-stock-for-wa-m4-gbbr.html
  18. as said it really depends on what you are trying to achieve and how detailed you want to go , your base material will determine what’s possible . better quality material will likely give better results , cheap cast parts that may have minor inclusions or inconsistent thicknesses could see you scrapping your project before you even get to paint . you need to speak to those who do it on the daily basis for the best advice really . If you’ve seen some custom work then just ask who did it and take it from there .
  19. Deep engraving I’d do first , laser etch I’d do after . So it really depends on what you are trying to achieve .
