The 'What have you just bought' Thread

nice Vectors , I had the pleasure of this one as a very brief ownership , picked it up from a friend for a friend , had some nice Gucci bits fitted -

 -
Not random at all , if I recall correctly it’s a 360mm or 370mm crazyjet fitted in that one , I’d have to dig the packaging out though to confirm .
 -
	both WE GBB
 -
we’ll all I can say is that the barrel you have is incorrect for the rifle you want to fit it too and will not work properly (as you have found out ) .
 -
The function of it is to fit to a completely different rifle , so just return the one you have and buy the correct one

	PSG1 is an AEG ?
 -

 -
The image you’ve used is from an eBay listing that clearly says it’s a Version2 TB for a TM PSG1 , so I’ll go with that .
 -
I can not find any reference to being a G&P lower specific part (but things change and sometimes retailers forget to update the listing description ) . the best thing to do is contact who you will be buying from in advance , if that’s firesupport then Frank should be able to give you all the information you need for fitting and if there is anything else you need that isn’t included in the kits .

Pretty sure the long one you’ve linked for fitting into a Magpul UBR style stock , The short one is just a standard buffer tube set up.

you can see the tops of the magswhere the router exits is different , a little file might help . As you say though could be worth a try for a few quid
 -
ah I wasn’t aware but then again I’ve never had any apart or needed to swap bits over , for reference , galaxy , Gen5 MOS , Gen5

Tokyo Marui Pistol Red Dot losing zeroing
JimFromHorsham replied to MortalEngine's topic in General Help
The actual Windage & elevation may be winding / unwinding itself , zero it again and put some witness marks against the adjusters , if they seem to be shifting then zero again and try some low yield thread lock on the adjusters , just a blob on the end of a cocktail stick and dot it over them . -

Getting back into airsoft after many years?
JimFromHorsham replied to SussexMatt's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Hi Matt , I’m wrong side of 40 too and havent played for around 7yrs now , but prior to that I’d played solidly from around 2004/ 2005 being involved with various teams , travelled to sites up and and down the country and even part organised a few milsim weekenders on my way out the door but the passion fizzled out , I was all in but just felt I wasn’t getting out of it what I felt I should be . But …. My old mate @The Waco Kidis back on the Sunday morning grind and I’m thinking of making a return but this time try to keep my kit whore collecting side seperate from the skirmishing side and just have a bit of simple good old fashioned fun . -
Mag on the right is a WA / G&P / WOC or Chinese clone equivalent , not compatible with WE .

Tokyo Marui M92f Phrobis “Dolphin” kit identification
JimFromHorsham replied to JimFromHorsham's topic in Gas Guns
if I can do it then I’m sure you’d be fine ,it wasn’t a pain at all , I’ve done a few kits over the years and like all things just get everything you need or want to do in advance and have it all laid out , just work your way through it methodically . A good quality tool kit of micro drivers , parallel punches , needle files etc is worth its weight in gold with these type of projects , trying to make do with “almost fitting” tools usually ends in disaster , have the phone handy for photos as you go also helps for re-assembly . -

Tokyo Marui M92f Phrobis “Dolphin” kit identification
JimFromHorsham replied to JimFromHorsham's topic in Gas Guns
They do and I’m not sure I said any different ? Apologies if it came across that way . The guarder kit I built was onto an M92f Military , I bought pistol and kit at the same time in 2020 , it is a fixed hop model , although with .25s it gives a very nice straight flight path for what I’d call typical (stock internal ) pistol ranges anyway . My point of “more modern” was that the dolphin kit is at a guess over a decade old ,probably closer to 15yrs , but I honestly have no idea and the donor 92f military that was put into it was the same age . Hope that makes some sense -
ha ha, 10yrs ago I’d of said yeah , it’s heavy but heavy is good and heavy is reliable , let’s gooooooo now I’m a heavy old unreliable one so you guys push on and I’ll deploy the bipod
