I had a message not long ago saying a couple of weeks hopefully. Genuine reason for delay.

I see you got the FAB grip in the end. Its mega comfy -
My pleasure, im sure happy with it. Had to get mine from Emperion as i couldn't find any UK stock, came in around 10 days. but super easy to fit, took about 10 minutes, and just the results i was after.
-
Though its not in stock at the moment. I have the Parra Saber case from patrolbase. Its ever so slightly shorter in length. But much bigger width giving alot more space to stack 2 rifles width ways leaving plenty of space for mags.

More of a Lucas kinda guy. I kinda like that civilian in arms look and and ethos of it's fun to use these for training. But hopefully will never have to do it for real. But whilst were at it, who can beat ther personal best. It makes me more confident in my own training and disciplines. -
More peeps! Perfect. I have taken 2 different peopleto my local site with 2 more saying they will try it too. Makes the gameplay much more enjoyable for newcomers if they know someone to come along with.

Welcome. Your gonna love it! First tips as a newcomer myself in October. Get some nice eyepro and lower mesh mask as your first purchase. Save buying a gun until you get a UKARA defense. Talk to as many people at the site as possible when you start going. Get to know the kit etc and start working out what you want from the sport so you are better informed when it comes to purchasing your own kit. And lastly geek out on YouTube vids and forum posts here. I found that bit easy as I love geeking out on new things I get interested in. I felt I already knew so much about everything before I even acquired my UKARA. So when I finally dropped a massive wad on my kit I felt I definitely knew what I wanted. And so far I wasn't wrong. It all played off in the end. I also mostly play solo. But I find that helps talk to new people on game day and get out of my comfort zone. Don't be shy to ask people about their guns and kit. They will happily talk your head off about it all ?

I have never had an issue with my viper tactical chest rig using the matching elastic mag inserts. May be cheap but they hold the mags extremely snug. Though i do want to invest in some Kydex to make some mag inserts as indexing them into the elastic inserts is a bit tricky as they are that tight. Nice and small too. Don't fancy a plate carrier, seems too cumbersome to me. -

Just bought a buffer tube QD sling mount. The tab that slots in the buffer tube was not long enough so the mount rotated around the buffer tube. So left the original end plate on and sanded down the tab that fits into the receiver so that it fit snug up against the original end plate and fits perfect. Now I can sling up properly. it's the little 'QOL' parts that make a big difference. also got some triangle QD swivels as fits the slings buckle better than the flat QD swivels -
Sounds the same as this poor lad.

@MAX DICKER ouch that looks incredible!! Not got any to show off at the moment. But last day I was out a youngster got a tri shot shotgun to the forehead going around a corner. The grouping was about the size of a 10p. Must have been inches away from his head at the time he was shot. Safe to say I felt sorry for the poor lad. Took it like a trooper though.

I see this way too much. Come around a corner and someone has the angle on you and you pull up your gun thinking they will beat you to it, and they duck. Well guess what now you have the advantage as you keep your sights on their position and take them out the instant the pop back up. Tactics 101 know when you have the advantage and keep it.

What do you consider a fair price for a skirmish
Khyber replied to wicksy101's topic in General Discussion
It includes 3 hi cap fills at around 330 each (only given 1 mag at a time, you have to go back to recepton to refill) So close to 1000 BBs and extra refills are available at £3 each. So yeah damn good value. -
Wow that's good. What gas is that with? For me its definitely worth the 20 squid its cost and 15 minutes to fit it.

At my sites... District 23 is £18 for walk on and £28 for walk on plus rental. Rental for a 10er is outstanding when I see people on here quote much higher prices at their local sites. And my other site 101 Scarborough is £25 walk on with or without rental. Cant argue at that either. These are both indoor CQB sites, D23 is a more 'professional' endeavor and 101 is a guy who has rented a derelict care home so the locals have somewhere to play. Much more of a intimate player base of locals and run much less restricted. Like a you don't be a dick and I won't be a dick attitude from the owner. Which is great if everyone plays well and fair. All in all I think they are both great value for the quality of the sites plus how well run they both are and the variety of play. -
Just fitted an RA-Tech NPAS to my TM MWS. Great FPS improvement. Super happy with the results. First pic is before then second after. This is without the hop adjusted correctly. Had the barrel out and since have not set the hop properly. I just wound the hop on around half way to stop the BBs rolling out. Tested at ambient room temp with .20 BBs. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get your MWS closer to site limits on green gas. @Mr. No_Face Here are the results you were interested in.

Hey, so my main local site is District 23 in Billingham. Got talking to quite a few regulars at the site but wondered if any regulars are on here. Would like to widen my circle at the site. I like to play strategically as a team with communication thus want to get to know more regulars and any players who also have knowledge of other nearby sites too

Sorry you posted in the wrong thread... this should go in confessions. ✝️

Just received an RA-Tech MWS NPAS. should hopefully be able to boost the FPS in the colder weather now and adjust through out the year. -
I had bolle raiders with RX inserts cost about 30 for prescription lenses for them. But as the insert sits closer to your face they fogged instantly. Now I have a trial of contact lenses from specsavers. Never worn them before now. Tried them a few times since starting the trial and they are comfy. Not had chance to wear any on a game day yet but look forward to it. Its weird being able to see without any glasses on.

Have ordered some fans and batteries myself to make some for my goggles. Much cheaper than buying ExFog! Well done they look great!
-
I'll hazard a guess that it needs a little maintenance. Degreased and cleaned then re greased. My MWS came new and the fire selector was really stiff. Removed it and properly lubed it and now its buttery. Also bought a second hand 1911 that was stiff and stick. Did a quick clean and grease and sorted it. Use some abbey T2 gun grease for metal on metal and silicone spray for rubber seals etc..
-
Welcome. I started in October too. Like you, I got my own kit as soon as my UKARA cleared, got a TM gbbr MWS and a 1911 pistol with tons of accessories and attachments. What guns have you treated yourself too? Share some pics Also where is local to you. Let others know, you may be able to play with some fellow airsofters from here.

Playairsoft – a Crowd-sourced List of UK Airsoft Sites
Khyber replied to shadowfacex's topic in General Discussion
Hey have visited the site a few times now. Keep up the great work. Would like to suggest if you ever plan in having an account system then being able to add sites to your own 'played at' and 'want to visit' lists would be great. I for one want to try and play at as many sites as I can being a newish player. And being able to keep track of sites I want to visit from recommendations or watching youtube gameplay would be great. Kind of like an online version of that airsoft site map poster with checkboxes. thanks
