The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I also have this FAB Defense PTK foregrip. The picatinny version isn't rubberised but the mlok is. Super comfy angle and very good purchase with your hand. Much more ergonomic than magpul. Will tag you of I remember when I post the NPAS results. -

I didn't like the pistol grip at all. Quickly changed it to a real steel FAB Defense AGR 43. It has a larger girth and is rubberised. Feels great with or without gloves and very grippable. Perfect fit without mods. Also in regards to bumping the FPS. I have ordered and awaiting an RA-Tech NPAS. Then able to control the FPS as the temperature changes and boost it from stock FPS. Not yet tested obviously but when it arrives I will post about the results. -

May I suggest a lens protector from red dot engineering on Ebay. Only £9 and he will custom print the size to fit if he doesn't already have one for that torch. I had one made for my torch. Just slides on with friction fit. He actually has one listed already for the x300 type 1 or 2 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unbreakable-Airsoft-Sight-or-Torch-Protector-Custom-Sized-Lexan-Lens-Black-Tan-/294273163040? -
Welcome to the club. It is sure to bring a big grin to your face. I'm still in the honeymoon period with mine ? The SixG nub will be available again in a couple of weeks I was told by the guy who makes them a few days ago.

Hey, does anyone know if this Madbull Noveske rails fit the MWS out of the box? I'm trying to source one. The 10" full picatinny version without the open top as I will be removing the front sight. Thanks

From what I have read, it is fine on green gas but certain springs may eventually go but when they do just upgrade to 150% replacements. I think most people use green gas. -

Sweet. Now to start wondering what RS parts will go on it cos, just cos ? -
Haha where there is a will, there is a way. I have 6 extra mags to go with mine. Cost nearly as much as the gun itself. But grabbed them at the same time whilst there was still stock. I'm using ZeroOne pro gas. It's made by abbey gas so uses UPL instead of silicone as a lubricant. I don't want silicon oil ran through it as it's only really good for seals. I just spray silicon spray on the seals instead. Haven't nodded them. Get enough gas in there for the full mag and I just refill between games. Not counted how many shots I get out of a fill but 1 mags worth is enough for me.

Nice. Enjoy ?. Had my MWS about 5 weeks now. Used it at 3 game days. Even though the cold means it's only shooting around 260-280fps it has been insanely fun. So glad I went with GBB for my first rif. It brings a massive smile to my face and receives a lot of attention too. Have an NPAS on the way. Should be here in a week or so, so can up the FPS a bit with it.

I must say their customer service is top notch. And better than alot of companies. They may be cheap but they work very well for the price and are more than adequately accurate for an airsoft gun. Thanks everyone for the input so far. Personally it's not something I would choose but I know there are people out there who dig that kind of thing. Would be great if a few more people could add their vote too. Thanks

Hey guys, so I am doing some market research for Feyachi. Disclaimer this is for a small reward. So that being said. Feyachi would like to know if custom laser engraving on their optics range is something that would interest customers upon buying an optic from them. They want some direct input from us airsofters on the front line so to speak and value our input. This could be anything from having your call sign engraved, maybe your favourite action movie quote, your youtube name, your team name or anything else you can think of. I imagine it may not appeal to some who are going for the more Milsim style replica builds, but might well appeal to people who like the more casual side of customising and building RIFs or youtubers and speedsofters etc... Let's go for a poll style response using the 'like' feature. Yes please! That sounds awesome = like (heart) No! My Gnu wouldn't look genuine if I did!! = sad face Thanks for your time and feel free to add anything to the discussion.

Still unfortunate

A Unity clone switch. Plug fitsts the Nuprol NX600 socket perfectly. Well made with a very good finish. Less than a week from AliExpress. -
Who knows... ? you might be onto something there.

@Druid799 Nice innovative touch to solve a unique problem, well done. I love modding things that suit me and solve niggling issues I have that doesn't bother others. Done a few to my MWS to stop the slight play that some parts have (upper and lower receiver for example). No real functional reason, I just feel better finding an easy fix for them ?. Great work.

@july_pi Lovely work on all these mate. Great attention to detail. They all look stunning.

Some folk think people are stupid AF. It's always the same message, you would think they would try a more inventive approach these days.

You should be able to get it pretty hot without causing damage. The components inside should be fine as its not a direct heat source, the metal will get way hotter than the pcb so you shouldn't worry about melting the solder too much. But that said, keep trying to break the loctite regularly as you don't want to over heat it, just enough to melt the loctite. So trying every 5-10 seconds once it's fairly hot is a good idea. Also apply the heat evenly, don't concentrate on one area too long, it wants to heat up gradually.

Hello, anyone here have 3d printer who wouldn't mind printing a few prototype parts for me please. These are picatinny accessories, They are only small. Will want 1 of each part initially and then if any refinements need making I can make them and get another made. Then once finalised will want maybe 10 or so of each one. Materials... I'm thinking possibly TPU for 2 of them and something harder but not brittle for the other, not sure on what material would be suitable. Let me know if this is something you can offer and I'll PM the files and discuss price. Thank you

Scary thought, sometimes I think that 18 as an age requirement for certain things is ridiculous. Maybe it should be more like 25 or even 30 in some cases. I know they are just toys but... misuse could easily cost a life. The whole 2 tone makes no sense, 'if' someone wanted to disguise an actual firearm, it's just as easy to paint it a bright colour. ?♂️ in my eyes a defense should be needed regardless and shouldn't be as easy aquire.
