  1. Good stuff. I will take the plunge with them I reckon. I did see on a review that they take some wearing in. And also new ones the timer is a little premature but settles to stated time after a little use. Good thing is as they are timed you dont need to lob them, a good low through or almost roll is sufficient for room clearing. Where did you buy them from? I noticed on the official website they are 85 I think but of you buy 2 they are a little over 60 each.
  2. Thanks for the info. The do look well built. And from what I have read higher grade steel too.
  3. Never seen these before. Just checked them out. They seem good. May invest in some of these. I imagine the shot shell blanks are fucking loud!
  4. Went out to D23 yesterday. Indoor CQB... just how I like it. Pretty good numbers. For some reason they split teams down the room which meant around 8 kids on my half ended up on my team which made up around half the team with 0 on the other. But that aside we still seemed pretty evenly matched. Winning around 50% of games for each team. And the ones we one were won by a long shot. Had great fun running the shadow 2 for the first time. Got countless kills with it. The best being on 'mainstreet madness'. A mad head to head dash up one lane where you can get tagged back in infinite times. First team to oppositions starting wall wins. We had them suppressed hard and with what I thought was just a few players left I made a dash for their wall. As I passed their cover points there were 3 behind one wall 5 behind the next and 2 behind the second to last, in which I took them all out with the Shadow. Buzzing hard I ran for the wall but the final piece of cover had one guy holding back who took me out 2 meters from victory! Thankfully 2 comrades close behind took him out and grabbed victory. By far the most successful streak I have achieved which left me high the rest of the day. The Shadow 2 performed flawlessly and I would say matches, if not supersedes the accuracy of my MWS. And my god does it kick on CO2! So happy with it and will be with me every game from now on. Once I get a few spare mags might even try some pistol only games it's that good.
  5. ? I see a tactical teletubbie. A multi cam Dipsy.
  6. Finally got a holster and a shit load of CO2 for my Shadow 2 that I got in November so I can skirmish it tomorrow for the first time. I haven't ran a sidearm yet, so excited to finally put it to use. Some say you never need them... But at my local indoor CQB site there are several extremely tight stairwells with corners at the top/bottom where my 14" Barrel just won't go around and I have to drop the business end meaning there have been numerous times I just cant get a shot on someone. Lost count the amount of times I couldn't engage on said stairwells and had to shamefully walk back to respawn. Now I have been dealt an equal hand ?

So far so good. Been running mine from new with it in. Around 10k shots through it nearly a year on and never skipped a beat. Not even had to replace the nozzle return spring due to green gas yet either. YMMV...

I installed an RAtech NPAS and using that alongside green gas allows me to get up to UK legal limits with the ability to tune it up in the cold and down in the warm. Cheap and a 15 min mod. Nothing more needed.

I didn't think the word 'licensing' was in Japanese vocabulary. Never stopped them before.
  10. Hey, just 1 personal opinion on Raiders. If you plan on using them with the inserts as I did be aware that as the inserts sit really close to your face and I managed to fog them. Before I got the inserts in they never fogged once which disappointed me. I now use valken with DIY fans in and use contacts. Perfect vision and fans keep them fog free everytime.
  11. Scorpion Evo is one of the best out of the box. Not M4 mags and a little pricier than your average but they are not on the level of cost as GBB mags. Nice and compact and an excellent shooter.
  12. @Schnitz It's ok... the first step is admission! Your on the road to recovery. Now before rehabilitation is complete... buy more!!!
  13. Maybe, just maybe he had the genius idea of drawing a little red dot on with a sharpie!! That would do it!
  14. His iron sights... ?‍♂️?‍♂️
  15. Wow they are intense!! I'm not sure if they allow as never seen them. But not too dissimilar to what they do allow. They run sundays alternating between mornings and evenings. IIRC morning is 8-2 and evening is 4-10, but don't hold me to that. I only get out generally every 4-6 weeks and will be december before I'm next there.
  16. It's my fave site so far of the 3 I have played at. It's very well laid out with the entire site being 2 stories with bridges joining the upstairs of different buildings. A few cars kicking about etc. And well thought out cover points. For an indoor site is still very much a 360⁰ field. You always want to be aware of enemies from any direction. It is very professionally run and they are strict on safety and all the things you want to be strict. Sundays are the best days. Their website doesn't appear to be managed well. The current rules on pyro is BFG and ringpull style frags are allowed which they sell on site for around a 5er a pop. Give me a shout if you do head there. I'll try and make it along. Would be good to meet up with another AFUK member.
  17. Possibly so, but your relying on honesty there. If it's a private sale, to me, its used which warrants a used price unless absolute proof its brand new and has transferable warranty.
  18. @Shamal I had seen that one and very nearly got it but hesitated then when I had that one in my hands in the shop I just gave in ? I'm surprised it's still for sale. Though realistically I would only pay up to 110 for a used one no matter its apparent history. As tackle said... no warranty.
  19. @MrTea Thanks I will bear that in mind. I have seen the grips. Tempted to go stealth and get some black ones. But the blue is kinda growing on me. @Shamal Wow. That's a steal! Cant wait to try it out. Thanks.
  20. Went to my local District 23 last night and as I pulled up the first thing I saw through the shop door was this CZ shadow 2. Been eying one up for ages, and it was the only one they had and in the colour i wanted so... I think it was inevitable that it was coming home with me. Never got chance to use it last night though as they had no Co2 left. But hey ho. Still mega happy.
  21. Solid work there matey. Great job!

Thanks. I assumed it was likely a common occurrence. I'll get at it with a file. Hopefully will sort out the issue.

Hey folks been a while since I needed a little technical help. So about 10 months in with use around every 4 weeks and nearly 10k shots in, I have noticed something on my bolt whilst cleaning. There is a notch that has been made in the the bolt from it slamming into the roller in the trigger group. It now has a very noticable indent when you rack the bolt resulting in the bolt 'sticking' about half way through its travel. Has anyone else experienced this with a similar aged MWS? Would the thing to do be to just file it smooth like the red line here?...

RA tech NPAS has served me well. Had to import from emperion though as there wasn't any UK stock. That might have changed now.
  25. I have been through all this too. I spent loads on prescription inserts for bolle raiders but like you they sat to close to my face. Fogged instantly. The magnification was also distorted. I had never tried contact lenses but decided to try them. Sometimes they are fine others I am blinking like mad one all day feeling like I had grit in my eyes. Recently decided to buy some eye wash (the one with a cup to go over your eye) and some lens safe eye hydration drops and wow what a difference. A quick eye bath before I put the lenses in and then a drop or 2 of hydration fluid every 4 hours or so and it is so much more comfortable wearing them. Maybe an idea to try. A million times better for vision than inserts or goggles over glasses for me bow I have solved the lens irritation issue.
