  1. Hello, I was at a game day yesterday and I have a cheap Feyachi sight (as pictured) yeah laugh 😂😂 it works well for what it is. But... the mirror casing took a hit and has dislodge the mirror, it is fixable. But my question is if you have one the same, please could you kindly take the time to remove the mirror shell (4 small screws on the underside around the reticle selector) and photograph the orientation of the mirror on the angled housing. Don't worry this wont affect any zeroing of the sight. It's simply a cover. I want to make sure I glue the mirror back on right either landscape or portrait. I presume its landscape but want to be sure. Thank you
  2. Nice. I would love a navy version with the bottom pic rail. Which manufacturer is it?
  3. @Tactical Pith Helmet Have bought 3 items of them so far. 2 standard cylindrical for a tube red dot and a torch and 1 very specific shaped one for a feyachi sight. All 3 fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend.
  4. @rocketdogbert Yeah a clone. It's a micro one. So I guess I want to hook up the multimeter on ohms, point it out the window for full brightness and take a reading then match the resistor to that of the reading?
  5. Hello, so I have a RMR attached to the top of an ACOG style scope. The issue is it activated via an LDR. This is great in the sense that when the cover is on it auto switches off. But... when going into darkness it dims itself to the point it's not visible. I would prefer it to be just on with full brightness and remove the battery when not in use. I have tried desoldering the LDR and bridging the contacts thinking this would bypass its function but then it doesn't turn on when inserting the battery. I also then tried it desoldered without bridging this still doesn't work. Resoldered the LDR and it functions normally again. Anyone have any ide how I can bypass it? Would a low rated resistor in its place work instead? Thank you
  6. I'll counter that last opinion, personally I prefer the drum mag on it. Though I'm not a fan of them I think it suits the gun better. But go with what you like best I guess.
  7. @Jacob Wright Totally agree there like. Though my Mrs knows exactly how much I spend on my hobbies. But with only minor grumbling thankfully. She is a keeper 😂 there is as much money invested in my toys of various hobbies in my little corner of our bedroom than in the rest of the house put together including the car 😂
  8. As far as i am aware, the full auto is made by KWC not WE. The KWC has metal slide and polymer frame whereas the WE is full metal but semi only. And the KWC is CO2 whereas the WE is green gas out of the box but has CO2 mags available. Anyone feel free to correct if I am wrong but that is my understanding anyway The black box with the orange manual and full auto is KWC according to Airsoft Mike. He has just released a video on it. And has done videos on all 3 available desert eagles.
  9. Good morning, just a quick report on my last session on sunday... This was the first time taking my own RIF to a game after receiving my UKARA. As some may be aware I went and dumped a wad on a TM M4 GBBR with 6! Yes 6 extra mags and a whole host of goodies to accompany. Well let me just say... the day went absolutely fantastic!! The gun was faultless all day bringing a huge smile to my face and attracting many comments along the lines of 'ooo is that a gas blowback' and 'wow that thing sounds naughty'. 😂 It was such a big difference from the rental AEGs and am so happy I went the gas route. The session was packed with over 30 players in an indoor arena with a good variety of objective based gameplay. And a didn't even use all my mags in any of the games which is a bonus. Any way that is all. Just wanted to share how much I enjoyed my new purchase and am glad I stayed away from the odd recommendation of not choosing gas as my first.. once you go gas there's no looking back 😁😁
  10. Sweet. Matches the modern military look to the rest of the AK. The receiver is the only part that gave it away as an AK to me. It's very 'm4ified' but I like it 😉

That's some accomplishment 👏 well done. I'll get there eventually haha.
  12. @TheFull9 Thanks for the input. I have looked at magpul but not a fan of the style. Will check out some of them other names for sure though. But so far the FAB defense stuff to my taste looks most modern and appealing as well as ergonomic. But hey that's what makes airsoft great is the near infinite range of customisation and styles and how everyone's taste comes out in their replica. @Davegolf nice rifle there bud. What grip is on it? I like the look of that one too also looks comfy.
  13. Not a bad idea. I can stick my finger up inside and see if its hollow 🙈🙉🙊 couldn't really word that any other way 😂 but... I do want to eventually buy this one. The tab is much smaller and probably barely noticable with gloves on... I like that trigger guard. Though not really a fan of the look of Magpul furniture. But... it does look much more comfortable.
  14. My first pew 😁 A few little external accessories added. Totally stock internally. Now to start saving for some furniture... TM M4A1 MWS Theta Optics 4x32 with top mounted RMR Mag Pulls Bifrost Tracer Nuprol NX600 Torch Want to get a FAB Defense stock, pistol grip and fore grip (not a fan of the pistol grip on this, the little finger tab is a bit uncomfortable)
  15. ⁷ Thanks mate. Its indoors so hopefully wont be too affected by the cold weather. Hope you get a go at trying some out. At my local field since I started playing not seen anyone running a gas rifle to ask to try. They all on AEGs. I get a feeling I may be the one getting asked if they can have a try. Thought so . Yeah no rush at all, I want the full experience of the legendary mws first. And after I have skirmished it plenty i will have a better idea of what I want to do to it. So far I am just admiring it and drilling some reloads with the chest rig at home. Hopefully get the hop up dialled in then sights zeroed today ready for Sunday.
  16. I think it may have been you who recommended the ZO gas at 6 for £40. I went with that in the end. I have a bottle of devil blasters .28 blaster .20 and blaster tracers .28. Your not the first person to say angry gun stuff isn't very good. I shall stay away. I don't plan on modding internals yet as I want to get to know the rifle stock. Only real upgrade I know I want is the SixG brass nub as everyone here raves about it. After that I will upgrade as things break or once I have a better feel for the rifle and know what I want more from.
  17. Thanks for the advice. Haven't seenninpulse101 yet will take a look. I do plan on buying the common parts that break before they do. I know my wallet is far from seeing the end of spending haha. O have already been eying up furniture. I like the fab defense look. Their style is what I'm after. Not heard of HAO though. Will have a look at them. Will also check out Dave's guide. Have bought the grease and a few other maintenance bits but ran out of cash haha for now. Bought ASG blaster bbs. As read good things about them. And gas wise. I went for the Zero one as it's made by abbey and uses UPL as a lubricant instead of silicon oil as a few sources say silicon oil is for seals etc not really mechanical parts like UPL.
  18. @C-Diddy @Mr. No_Face I'm one happy guy! I will pick up a cheap second hand AEG at some point. Now I have the biggest lump sum of 1100 spent I shouldn't have too much of an issue saving up 200 for a backup aeg. Plenty to choose from on the classifieds. But boy I cant wait to maiden it on Sunday. I'll report back how it goes.
  19. @Mr. No_Face aye balls deep for sure. After playing and using the rentals I knew I loved the game but... one of the main fascinations I have with firearms is the mechanical beauty of them. How everything works with each other and you can hear parts clink and tink as they engage and move etc.. so for me it had to be a GBBR. As well as he realism factor of the mag counts was another reason. When I played with hi cap rentals I would be counting my shots and imagining reloading etc. And then finally the recoil and noise.. with almost zero feedback from an aeg and the zzzt sound was just not pleasing. The GBBR platform offers everything else on top of what hooked me into playing.
  20. Finally received my first load out 😁 super happy with it. Had a little plink in the garden last night and my face lit up brighter than the tracer! and picked and plucked some foam too. Tokyo Marui M4A1 GBBR 6 extra mags with mag pulls Parra Sabre case Bifrost tracer Flashlight 4x Acog style with mini RMR Standard RMR Scope style RMR Acetech Chrono Viper Tech chest rig and dump pouch Sling Shit ton of gas and bbs Grease and oil And more... Can't wait to skirmish it for the first time on Sunday Plenty of space left in the case for a side arm and mags when I can get one too

    THE TM MWS thread

Hey, so with my UKARA still not registered. Been onto my local site for 2 weeks now and they still haven't done it. And I'm told it only takes 2 mins... 😒 anyway obviously my rifle still hasn't been ordered. But... I was originally wanting the mk18 version but the over used loctite on the barrel nut and the need for a URX tool has been putting me off, think I may be swayed back to a standard m4a1 as its so easy to access the inner barrel and hop up etc.. so got a question. I presume the gas tube running from the gas block/front sight back to the receiver is inert? Am i correct? If so is it possible to run the rifle without the front sight and gas tube leaving the hand guard / rail free floating. I'm not over keen on the front sight which is one reason I was going for the mk18. If it's fine to run like this it will make the m4a1 a more preferable choice for me again. As well as the fact its £70-80 cheaper. ( that leaves money for an extra mag ) Thanks in advance.

@C-Diddy its not yet ordered. Got the cash just awaiting my UKARA number now. I want the look of the MK18 as I don't like the idea of not being able to remove the front triangle sight, I did consider getting the cqbr and adding the mk18 Daniel Defense rail but then figured it's just unnecessary extra cost. But then the MK18 seems like they don't want you getting the rail off. I will get a barrel nut tool same time I get the SixG nub. I am getting 3 extra mags at the same time as the rif to get me going. Thanks for advice on the slings. Not sure if I want 1 or 2 point yet. May have to ask to borrow at the field to get a feel for both variations.

@C-Diddy great that's just the answer I was after. I intend on getting the SixG nub as first upgrade. I figured there might be a few things that will undoubtedly need replacing from wear and tear etc.. like springs and nozzle. But good to hear stock internals do seem to hold up to higher powered gas. Thanks for the info dude getting me more excited to receive it.. only thing I am not looking forward to is getting the hand guard off the mk18 for the first time to fit the hop up nub and to replace buckings in the future after reading that they have excessive amounts of thread lock applied. Watched the eagle six video on removing it and it was painful. Needs a hell of a lot of heat.
