I shall not be conducting said test. No need. Got the SixG installed and feel no desire to try anything else. 😉 works a treat 👌👌 🍿🍿...
  2. One of my absolute favourite most used guns on CoD. Running around in hardcore getting one shots was great fun. Enjoy
  3. I heard from a reliable source that if you microwave them in a little butter they make a great snack to go with your saturday night film. Game changer!
  4. It WAS a problem.. now relapsed. And the cycle continues 🔄
  5. I've played there for over a year and never experienced them not tagging. Wonder who was chronoing. There are a lot of HPAers there but usually all a good bunch and play fair. But as with everything there are always the odd one out to be Richard. You should try a Sunday. Numbers are really good and makes for some very fast aggressive play. I gave up with Wednesdays and fridays as I didn't like the low numbers. Some times even with the small site size you would spend 5 10 mins sneaking around and not see anyone. Whereas when good numbers it's much more of a push the objective attitude from most.

Its supposedly better and I used to run exclusively silicon free but needs must when you run out at a game and have to buy some. If you use gas with silicone then just make sure to keep the barrel and hop rubber well cleaned which is a must anyway.

Sorry I'm with you. Mine are v2 and no issues. Like mentioned could be the nozzle of the gas can. Some brands are quite short and only just fit. You can get a little nozzle extension... maybe worth a try. From experience. Abbey and ZO (made by abbey) are on the short side and when filling the rim where the cap attaches the can touches the mag. But vorsk are much longer and easily reach into the valve without the rim touching the mag.

Nothing should 'need' to be modded, to run higher power gas. I run mine on ZeroOne gas or currently vorsk V8 as I ran out of ZO. Supposedly you will eventually need to replace the nozzle return spring as this is likely to be the first thing to give from higher powered gas. I'm at around 13k rounds all with standard UK powered gas, Not 144a and yet to have anything break.
  9. Nice. Yeah it looks pretty decent. Think I will take the plunge. Thanks.
  10. I have been eying one of these up on Ali x. What's the sewing and the buckle like?

That's just reminded me I missed one other internal mod. An RA tech NPAS. Allows to tune power up and down based on temperature. I can still get 350fps in winter (indoors in a unheated warehouse) on standard green gas.

You may well be right there. I have ( internally) a bone stock MWS bar the Six-G nub. Its had around 13000 rounds through it so far and I feel it is properly bed in now. I used it sunday. The trigger feels locked in now, Perfect wall and crisp break. The bbs seem to be shooting straighter than ever. Super consistent. Whilst in spawn before game starts I was able to aim at random bbs on the floor a good 5 - 10 meters away and hit them in 1-3 shots. And at around 30 meters able to hit things around 2inch square consistently. That's more than accurate enough for me. They really do seem to get better after around 10k rounds.
  13. Someone definitely played CoD judging by that purchase. Can't beat the noise of the noob tube from CoD. such a satisfying thlump
  14. Welcome. I can defo recommend CQB. For me it's much faster paced and more intense which gives more immersion. I hate seeing someone in the woods who is out of range as this reminds me it's just airsoft, but in cqb generally any shot is within range which adds that realism. Also you really gotta watch your back more as it's easier to flank. Anyway along as you play your way and have fun then your doing it right.
  15. Agreed it does make for some great gameplay when its low numbers. Allows for different tactics. I'll give you a shout next time I'm there see if your going. Yet to meet any fellow AFUKers.
  16. My local site. It's a great layout for a small indoor site. The action isn't channelled down corridors but very much a 360 play field. Glad you enjoyed it. Wednesdays and fridays are usually quiet but sundays are normally really good.

Without digging mine out of the case and checking. Just by going off the pic. Would a small spring out of a biro or similar, cut down suffice for the time being until you source a spare? Just a thought..

Hey, if you want to remove the FSP, what you will likely want is a 'free float' handguard. This means its torqued down at the receiver and the rest of the rail 'floats' leaving the barrel hovering within the handguard. You will also likely need a barrel nut adapter. As generally the flange on the barrel is too small for most rails, the rail will attach but not clamp the barrel to the receiver. An adapter will solve this. You are also able to fit 'real steel'handguards with the nut adapter too.
  19. New member with zero input elsewhere on the forum either. Dreamer for sure
  20. @Madhouse glad you had fun mate. That first game with all your own kit is a memorable one. Mine was Feb last year and I still remember it well. So much more fun than rental. I know how you feel about the barrel hitting the ground when slung. I'm in the same boat. Not experimented much with sling setups but it can be annoying and obv dont want to damage that nice tracer on the end. Hope you find a solution. Keep having fun
  21. No they are all as good. I have 4 feyachi sights and all of them at room length have about 1-2" error but at garden length and beyond that is drastically reduced lower than the accuracy of any given pew.
  22. I got mine in black from amazon a year ago. In Medium size. IIRC multicam is also available.

The higher temp of the gas at source makes it higher pressure than the cold gas in the tank of the mag. That means it wants to pressurise the mag harder than if both are ambient or similar temp. I Do recall seeing this mentioned on a video before, it was either Bada Bing or Airsoftology IIRC.

This will definitely help. Having the source of gas warmer will help it condense in the mag properly allowing a fuller fill.
