500 is a nice gnu 😃. If you already have a lot of the kit then bonus and of course keeps initial costs down. I can’t say I have a lot of with moulding/working with thermoplastics or fibreglass however whenever I have cut them using Waterjet I find fibreglass fractures and cracks a lot easier plastic. But like I said I’m no expert. If you could keep it at 50 then I would be interested In one.

I think my thoughts reflect others on here. Great idea but I suspect you would need a fair bit of capital to get this started and for your price point I do think it’s probably on the cheap side. Plus you need to factor in development, refinement, raw material costs and your time. As @SSPKali says is there a large enough gap in the market for bespoke face masks. I hope I’m wrong and you can manage to do this and I think using thermoplastics would make it easier rather than using fibreglass type material. If you were making these in bulk you might stand a change. I would probably make these as a high end low volume product then you might see some return.

Hi all, I know it’s only recently been released however has anyone heard if there are any upgrades being released. I scoured the tinterweb and not found anything apart from real steel parts. Did find a very nice wooden hand grip in the US for not a lot of money but fitment would be an issue. Any info would be great thanks GG

She has to have surgery as well to remove the glue/hair. Sad reflection on our society really when you feel is ok to put gorilla glue in your hair.

Completely agree with this. Might as well buy a cheap and spend the money on the parts. I’ve just splashed out a small fortune on a psg1 which I have no doubt I will be doing small upgrades Too including buy a scope which it doesn’t with. Why you ask, because I want too.

I do have sympathy for these retailers be it TG or Gunfire, I think when it’s in the ups system they can’t really do a lot however it doesn’t excuse be customer service. My concern is that we have retailers and customers out of pocket here and UPS can’t/won’t be held accountable. It seems to me everyone loses apart from UPS

I get these all the time at work, don’t hold any hope of getting any information if you do open a investigation. The amount of people here who have effectively lost money due to UPS, there must be some recourse. If TG aren’t/Can’t do anything who else can you speak to? Is there a trade body for shipping companies that can be written to?

If you are paying a fee I would expect it to be run correctly with us the service users almost as a share holder within the organisation. Like @Adolf Hamsterhas said something like the FIA or FA (hopefully not as corrupt). How to set it up well that I don’t know but there are already lots of governing bodies I’m sure we could get inspiration from those

Looks to me like some people think it’s a good idea and some don’t. End of the day until everyone agree that it’s a good thing we won’t have real representation as players. If we can’t even agree ourselves how the hell are the site owners, retailers and authorities. i know airsoft is expensive but it’s hardly going to cost hundreds a year to join the governing body (maybe save the takeaway money for a couple of weeks ). Plus there could be sponsorship etc. frankly I’m a little baffled as why people would be so against it. Makes sense to me and legitimatises airsoft as a sport. Surely a good thing?

It could be worth getting an organisation that regulates the sites so there are a standard set of rules, Marshall’s attended the same courses, insurance is provided by a overarching organisation etc. This would show the government that we can self regulate and be considered a proper sport. I think that this is a doubled edge sword but it would ensure survival long term and stop numpties who can’t be arsed with two tones etc.
