Welcome. I wouldn't take too much from youtube videos as they're usually heavily edited to make the person filming look like an airsoft god and give a very unrealistic view of what games are really like.

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Cannonfodder replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
I saw the video of it and you didn't miss much. From what I remember she would've made more getting paid to put her clothes on -
Sounds great, just a shame it's so far from me. Also I hope they open up other sites and call them Victor and Vulcan

That depends on what you want to improve

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Cannonfodder replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
I know what you mean about waiting for games to start. I don't get many weekends off so I play mid week evening games quite often and when you're only on site for 3 hours I don't fancy spending half of that time waiting for the next game to start. I found the tunnels at Epsom were particularly bad for this -
The only brand I'd add to that list is Socom Gear, but I haven't seen anything from them for years

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread

I haven't been to AWA for years but I'm also tempted to go up there on a non game day for a nosey at what's left of the old airfield. As I understand it the base was home to Lysanders and was the final departure point for many SOE agents dropped into occupied Europe -
Pretty much. If I'm going to sit in a field getting pissed for the weekend then there's no way I'm paying 100 odd quid for it That's about the standard for the NAF and it gets worse on the Sunday afternoon. A highlight for me was the kid who I shot in the chest from about 10 yards with my 8mm shotgun. He then ducked into the ferns (I could see them moving as he moved) and when he stuck his head up again I gave him the good news, at which point he started bitching about overkill. As for the marshals, I got the impression they were more interested in struting around going look at me in my hi vis vest, I'm important than doing their job. The last part which really put me off returning was the number of idiots walking round the safezone with a finger on the trigger and the safety off. Combine this with I hardly saw anyone actually make sure they didn't have one up the spout and I'm surprised nobody lost an eye

Killbox: Taking Airsoft to the next level

From talking to my son's kung fu instructor, who's an ex bootie, that's probably very accurate -
Bloody hell, even an MP couldn't say that with a straight face. In my experience cunts and cheaters are attracted to it like flies to a fresh dog turd Careful, you'll give the guys at Killbox ideas

I'd rather have a wank with sandpaper gloves than go to that shitshow

What adjustments and customisations are you thinking of?

As above, if it's new send it back and don't let the shop fob you off with bullshit excuses

I'm guessing the navy version would involve getting to know your battle buddy extremely well -
Yep, tried that. It worked a bit but not enough to get it to fit properly
-
Not sure if it counts a "made" but after A LOT of sanding I've finally managed to get the ammomax P99 holster to actually accept the P99 and lock it in place

When was the 'Golden Age' of airsoft?
Cannonfodder replied to Dentonboy's topic in General Discussion
Funny you should post that, my latest purchace was a WE P99. I did have one of the Maruzen NBB ones years ago but I hated the mushy trigger so sold it. I know what you're getting at though, half the reason I got one was to be different from all the Glock and Hi Cappas out there Me too. Christ I feel old now For me I'd say the golden age was probably around the late 2000's. The ACM guns were relatively cheap but effective and social media wasn't a big thing so there was less of the egotistical bellends spouting nonsense (well there were some, but they usually ended up being put in their place). Also I was nice to not have every other player wearing multiple cameras and thinking they're the next Steven Spielburg while pushing their crappy goontube channel -

That tells me all I need to know and from Herrgh's post this sounds like someone trying to monetise their rape fantasies -

"Secret location" A subtle way of saying we haven't found a venue dumb enough to let us do this yet -

I'm no lawyer but I'd love to see them try to use that in court Agreed, especially as tasers and cattle prods are classed as section 5 weapons. As for force feeding, that brings up more liability issues such as potential allergies I see Killhouse hasn't been back since posting this so hopefully this will be one of those projects which get annouced before dieing without anyone hearing any more about it -

Not sure of the detail. I did find this though https://www.lawcom.gov.uk/app/uploads/2016/08/No.134-Criminal-Law-Consent-and-Offences-Against-the-Person-A-Consultation-Paper.pdf Page 7 section 1.2 A person is guilty of the offence of assault if- (a) of another he intentionally or recklessly applies force to or causes an impact on the body (i) without the consent of the other, or (ii) where the act is intended or likely to cause injury, with or without the consent of the other -

I'm pretty sure the whole consent thing doesn't mean shit. I'm sure I remember hearing about doms at an S&M club being arrested for assault, despite having consent from subs. Killhouse might want to read up on the legal side of this if he doesn't want to end up in court -
Yes. Also you have to be 18+ to be able to buy pellets. There are other laws regarding the sale and use of airguns which aren't relevant to this discussion so I won't go into them.
