  1. I can't believe it's been 3 hours and nobody made an Airplane reference
  2. The short answer to that is yes. The long answer is definitely yes. They're poorly made with crap QC, crap materials and have a habit of falling apart after a short time
  3. I'll stick with my cut up pallet and scrap wood gun rack £250 for a pistol that doesn't work? Surely that's Mack's material
  4. If it's capable of full auto at 1.5j then it wouldn't just be a wankergun, it'd be a section 5 firearm. I get where you're coming from though, the problem isn't the gun but the flesh coloured squishy bit attached to it. Unfortunately though while many sites will talk the talk about zero tolerance to cheats and cuntish behaviour, not so many actually walk the walk and deal with them, especially if the wanker in question is a regular Definitely. There are many ways to improve your game, whether it's trying out new tactics or improving your fieldcraft, without having to do upgrades to your gun I'd put the blame there on the site. The gun should've been chrono'd before being allowed onto the field. It's not about not liking to be shot but not liking to be shot more than necessary. It only takes 1 bb to get a hit so (assuming all are calling their hits) dumping 20+ shots into someone in half a second is just being a cunt.
  5. Agreed. 0.86J is roughly 305fps with a .2g bb so definitely not safe for airsoft
  6. Another great day at Ambush near cobham where I decided to take the SA-02 put for some fun. Performance wasn't the best but I'm putting a lot of that down to me being a crap shot. Fortunately I had my MP5K with me to act as back up. On the downside, there were a few who seemed to think hit taking was optional, but they were only a tiny minority and were dealt with by the staff. To me it's nice to see a site actually do something and boot cheaters rather than be all talk and no action.
  7. Bit of a funny one that. A quick search for lacruise shows that they've been a member for a couple of years, but only have 4 posts, all of which are sales posts of which 3 were posted today. The bit that strikes me as odd though is that the new adverts all start with the phrase "Shit hit the fan work-wise, so need to get rid of a few things." If this is the case then why would they be buying up more kit? While there's nothing that is obviously dodgy there's enough to get my spidey senses tingling which is enough to make me ignore their messages
  8. Fixed that That would involve effort on the part of the OP
  9. Welcome to the forum I'll leave the tech stuff as I tend to struggle with anything which doesn't involve duct tape or a hammer That's because 99% of the players running these very high rof builds are trying to over compensate for something, whether that's a lack of skill or something more personal. Strangely they also often whine the loudest when on the receiving end. This. I left all the airsoft groups I was in on faceache as most of it was either bad advice or crappy youtube videos. Forums may be old, but the information tends to be of a higher quality and it's easier to search for so you don't get the same questions asked every other week
  10. Probably. Either that or a Nigerian prince wanting to move money around
  11. Definitely this. All the ones I've seen have the power of a mouse's fart and a toddler could throw a handful of bbs further. For me it's got to be those muzzle flash simulators. I don't think I've ever seen one that actually looks like a muzzle flash, rather than a cheap torch flicking on and off
  12. Cannonfodder

    New to Airsoft

Do you have any evidence to back this up, eg a receipt? This would help prove it's yours
  13. Why did REM split up? The rest of the band weren't Michael's type
  14. Welcome to both the forum and airsoft in general. If you are buying second hand for your first gun make sure you get to see and fire it before handing over any cash. Also make sure to check the Mack's thread first as this forum is pretty good for calling out people charging silly amounts. One thing that buying new gives you is the confidence that if something does go wrong you can take it back.
  15. One thing I've just thought of. What are the gnus made of? For example the steel body of my E&L AK will take far more of a beating than the plastic body of my MP5K, so despite being significantly more expensive it's less likely to take significant damage so I'll feel more confident taking a fall (for example) with the AK
  16. A hit is a hit, no matter where
  17. Of course. What else could I mean by wanting to see my little white balls hit her arse?
  18. An extra £15 for postage
  19. It could be worse, he could be asking about the WE one
  20. Does anyone know of a shop in the UK who have the fill valve for a GE 870 sawn off? The only shops I can find stocking them are abroad and I don't want to pay over double the price for postage etc. Alternatively if anyone knows of an alternative which fits I'll be very gratefull
  21. One other thing, if possible make sure you've got the day after off work. You'll ache places you forgot existed, even if you think you're taking it easy.
  22. No you're certainly not. For that price I'd want it to come with a Scarlett Johansson clone willing to do things I probably shouldn't mention on here
  23. To be honest massive breakages don't happen too often. However if you're worried about more minor damage, then certainly leave those rifs at home as skirmishing with them will result in minor scratches etc. Although having a gun to use in game rather than using one you want to keep box fresh sounds like a good excuse for a shopping spree
