  1. That makes more sense. If it was self defence then fair enough
  2. Not sure if I'm getting the wrong end of the stick but it sounds like the marshal was equally up for a fight. If so then I'd hope they were given the boot too
  3. I've never understood the must win at all costs mentality. Sure its a nice feeling when you do manage to get all objectives, but to me it's a bonus. Also some of the most enjoyable games I've had have been when I've been on the receiving end of an arse kicking
  4. I hope the players and Marshalls wanting to get physical were suitably dealt with. There's no excuse for threatening physical violence on site
  5. I was being polite calling it silly, let me rephrase it to what I really meant. It's a fucking dumb question If you're going to get that upset over a word like silly then I suggest you stay off the Internet till you're old enough to not throw a tantrum over a small word
  6. OK, I was expecting something a bit bigger (said the nun to the bishop) as the description makes it seem like the site is huge
  7. That's a good point about insurance. As much as folk like to call site owners either lazy or stupid for having these rules, for all we know they could have their hands tied by the insurance company
  8. Not sure if I'm being stupid or I've missed something but I checked Google maps and this is the results
  9. Unfortunately popular doesn't mean best. Eg the NAE is popular but the gameplay is shit. I think everyone on a airsoft forum will already be aware of airsoft?
  10. My old site had a ban on CO2 and HPA. Why? No idea and tbh I don't really care why as I wasn't running the games. At the end of the day its down to site owners to decide what rules the do and don't want to implement. If people don't like a site's rules then don't play there rather than moaning about it online
  11. Chat with others on site to see if they're up for it, if they are then the first thing you need to do I decide how deepvyou want to go. Do you want simply a band of people playing together as a group, or will you go with everyone using the same kit? As for taking the game more seriously, the last thing the hobby needs is more deluded twats thinking they're Captain Price and can order others about before getting all pissy when they don't get their way This
  12. Not sure you've understood what I'm getting at. I'm surprised that there would be a clause which could easily allow a hot gun on the field, whether it's deliberate or accidental
  13. This. They add significant weight to the front end and you'll certainly notice it after a while. Also, I don't know if it's still an issue, but with the old TMs the weight of a 40mm launcher on the barrel could cause the tabs holding the upper receiver down to break. Another option to the ones above are the pistol launchers, these should be a little easier to carry https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-m052-40mm-pistol-grenade-moscart-launcher?pv=2877 Or something a little more gucci https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/nuprol-n79-thumper-40mm-launcher-compact-sawn-off?pv=6687
  14. This. Considering people have been caught stealing ppe from GP surgeries, hospitals and ambulances a message like that would cause chaos. https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/s-news/employee-jailed-stealing-ppe-nhs-18295924 https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/18356320.coronavirus-patient-steals-ppe-north-shoebury-surgery/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-52206749 So the government told a lie to the people? Next up, an exclusive on where bears shit ? I'm more pissed off with them for not being able to follow their own rules as it can make people think "if they don't bother why should I?" mentality. Although it does blow a big hole in the conspiracy theories, I mean how are they supposed to keep so many scientists and medical personnel from blowing the whistle when they can't even keep a Christmas piss up secret?
  15. Tbh the way people went nuts over toilet roll and petrol I'm not sure I blame them
  16. Is it just me or does that stipple grip look like a burnt turd?
  17. Interesting that they don't stipulate every game day as a well meaning player could be using a hot gun without realising. For example a gbb rif firing at just below the site limit on cooler day could easily become a hot gun in warmer days (or even in the few hours between chrono in the morning and lunchtime. Also I had a Chinese ak which somehow jumped up by 30fps after about 6 months use with no work done to it
  18. Should've pissed in it before handing it back
  19. Going to a pub or nightclub to get pissed is a choice, whereas living in care usually isn't.
  20. So your source is a YouTube video? ??? Try again I need a good laugh Says the one complaining about "personal attacks" So they should be. Care workers are generally looking after the more vulnerable members of society and by refusing to be vaccinated are placing those in their care at greater risk. Nightclubs etc also have a duty of care towards their staff
  21. Got any sources for that pile of bollocks?
  22. Careful, your tin foil hat is slipping
  23. Looks good Here's a thought. With all the sites that have closed in the last year, there's probably quite a lot of long time players who now don't have site membership. I wonder if this is pushing impatient players to buy a defence and retailers to be a bit more open to other defences. I'm not saying it's OK, just that it might be a factor
  24. Apocalypse at Royston have their first game of the year on the 2nd
  25. All the data shows that vaccines work to reduce the risk of infection and transmission of the virus. Does it give 100% protection? No but it significantly reduces the chance of infection and if you do get infected the chances of being hospitalised are far lower. All I'm hearing from the anti vaxx crowd is that it's a attack on their freedoms and other such nonsense. Nobody is being descriminated against or rounded up and its worth remembering that your rights end when your actions affect others.
