Absolute Airsoft in Reading. What Is it Like?
Shamal replied to Groot's topic in Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews
I've been airsofting for a long time now and I have never played at a site that didn't chrono guns. But as you are a regular player at that site and you say all is well then I'm pleased for everyone who plays there. ? Regards -

Well that's great news if they have cleaned up their act. Shame it took a permanant disability to bring it about. Can you say whether they chronograph at start of game and at random times during day? Regards -
Que the borg....Its not a License! ? regards

Haha. You will be fine. Just turn up, pick a friendly looking face and ask about the sites procedures for signing in etc. They will say 'fuck off' you will say ' stick it up yer arse wanker' and bingo! Ice broken . You will be treated like an old pro. ? Enjoy ? Regards

I've read that electrolysis can help so I'm working on implanting cables in my forehead connected to a low voltage high amperage accumulator. Bit drastic but needs must. ? Alternatively I will attempt to gain access to a general practitioner(phew that's gonna work up a sweat!) And ask about having some anticholinergics prescribed. Apparently they are very effective for hyperhidrosis. Regards

I think that's a fair appraisal maybe a little on the generous side. I paid 100 for mine never used, lam module, case and mag. Did the tdc conversion my self for not a lot of dosh. Regards

I use my spitfire with muzzle flash on night games. It all adds to the realism.

Hi @Dylan8 and welcome to the money pit.lol Glad you enjoyed your first time. I remember my first time.....so many years ago. She was good.... But yeah first impressions are always good and it sounds like you had a good bunch.? Get the hang of daylight battles before you start to go dark though. It's a whole different ballgame ?. Best tip I can give you is cover up completely if you do cqb.(close quarter battle). Or you will go home looking like a measles patient! Lol. Long may you play and enjoy.? P.s Check out @GAMBLEhe has a tube channel with plenty of tips and practical advice about gear for beginners upwards. Regards

Hi and welcome to the forum.? I've had a look and the nearest to you I think will be hazelmere/bordon which is legion airsoft or eversley bravo, eversley. You can check these and other sites out on 'play airsoft uk' Hope you find something to suit you and it's good to know that you are not letting your disability stop you? I've shot at bisly as well. Regards

Nite games are fun but very hard to get bearings and decide who is who. It helps if you are familiar with the site but throw in a alien landscape and it's pot luck really. Even at the nae you can play all day on the Saturday and think, yep,I've got it nailed but come the night game it's a case of Fuck! Where am I? Lol. Last night game there I got three cracking kills with tracer and muzzle flash(spitfire).they shat themselves unfortunately they were my team? I find I have to keep asking marshalls which way is away?? Lol. But still it's a great adrenalin rush when you can lay in wait for 20 mins in a bush, hidden and then crack off a couple and hear the yells lol. Have fun?

Hi dude.? Not got round to paying visit yet but soon I hope. You may beat me to it though in which case I'll read your thoughts. Lol Regards

Hi fella and welcome to the big boys playground.? As already said you will love it and airsofters are generally a very friendly bunch willing and eager to impart their knowledge and expertise for free. Nobody will care about how you look, what kit you have or your ability to run a 100yd dash in 10 seconds or take out a whole team before lunch. Get yourself out there and you will soon overcome any shyness and nerves ? Take things at a pace that you find comfortable and after a while I'm sure your fitness levels will improve. I'm no spring chicken and not gonna break any records for agility (I could, however, break hundreds if i sat on them lol) but I pay my money and that means I play as I want to and that way I get more enjoyment without any pressure. Play and have fun?? Regards Ps.I like a beer as well ?

How much does it cost for half a day these days?
Shamal replied to emilianoksa's topic in Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews
My local cqb site (ucap bunkers) charge £15 for wednesday evenings and £25 for rentals. Regards -
Who in their right mind would swop their son for a gun?? Stop now. You don't need it. I on the other hand do not have a gas shottie and my children are past bartering age anyway. So I will use notes of the realm.?? Regards
